Number 50! Sir, sincerely thank you for the lessons. I learned my first kayda with you and loved and appreciate all the lessons. You’ve kept me a lot of company the last 3 years. I know I’ll never stop my tabla journey and always remember where my roots started from. 🙏🏻
I was looking for guidance over UA-cam a few months for tabla lessons and finally I found your channel Sir..! I find myself lucky 🍀 to be getting this learning from you. Your commitment towards teaching is inspiring…! Thank you so much ❤ I have just started my journey with Tabla and I am sure your videos are going to help me❤.
So, what can I say...I began to study tablas 20 years ago but couldn't follow because my 2 teachers were living in Calcutta and I couldn't meet them often. So I was going on by listening many pieces of rythm, reading tablas ryhtm books...etc.. then, I discovered your lessons.. So I said...OK I do it again from the begining and I learn it by heart. I've learned many similar and differents variations and with your teaching I have the best plan to advance in my practice. I really feel blessed to have this opportunity and I don't know how to thank you for all the things you gave during this 50 lessons. Actually I'm only at half of the way, but I know that when it will be over, it will be the same feeling when you read a good book and you feel empty when the book is over. Thank you for all that you have done. Valérie
Glad these lessons were helpful. I mainly made them for my own students but it has taken a life of its own on YT. Do spread the word among other Tabla enthusiasts. All the best in your learning.
I think it is the story of many tablas players, this fact to be alone. Not many People feel abble to practice because it take so much time to be learned. But whathever, even if you physically feel alone, you have many connexions around the world because of tablas practice. For example, You're invited everyday in my living room without knowing it. 😄😄. More seriously, I promise I'll do my best to learn every single bol that you show in your vidéos. Thank's again🌈🎼🎵🎶
Thank you very much sir for your teaching, I did learn tabala, corrected many of my mistakes watching your class. Still couldn't go beyond 10th lesson, But as a teacher you fullfilled your promise. My heart felt gratitudes to you sir. This is no less than a treasure for tabala students. This year I shall complete the course. Dr Doreswamy, Urologist Bengaluru
Sincere gratitude for the invaluable 50 online tabla lessons that have amplified my musical journey profoundly. Heartfelt thanks for the guidance; eagerly awaiting the forthcoming series
I am from Sri Lanka. Thank you sir for teaching such valuable lessons. Sir, may you get strength and courage to serve the society more by posting videos like this
Dear teacher, thank you very much for your service and commitment. I have been lucky enough to be able to follow you almost since the first videos and I feel blessed for it. Apart from being a very good teacher, you are an example of perseverance and passion... Two necessary qualities for music. Have you thought about starting another new series in the future? If so, I would love to continue hearing from you. I wish you much health, abundance and blessings. Greetings from Spain
Thanks so much. Glad you found them useful. Two new series are getting ready - one each on Keharwa and Dadra basics (just basic thekas - 20 for kehawra and 10 for dadra)
Really love your videos and appreciate the way you teach. Haven't seen any other tutorials that are explained with such simplicity. Really useful for people (especially like me) living abroad not being able to learn in person from a guru. Please don't stop. Hoping also to learn more intermediate-advance level compositions in the near future. Regards.
Thank you, thank you thank you Sir. Your lessons have afforded me the utmost pleasure - in watching you teach and in my efforts to learn, practice and imitate your play. What more can I ask? Your future lessons will just be icing on the cake. What a way to end the year ! Wish you and all within your orbit a Very Happy New Year 2024 and beyond.
Thank you for your kind comments. Glad you found my tabla lessons to be useful. Continue to practice and build on them. Do not care about Gharana boundaries. Learn whatever you like. Happy learning. And a Happy New Year to you as well.
