*Important Safety Note*
Safety is my number 1 priority and concern while operating Tesla's FSD Beta software and at no point have I, nor will I subject customers to unnecessary risk. I am in full control, take over regularly, and I am extremely vigilant and cautious at all times. Furthermore, I do not subject anyone to Self Driving features that are uncomfortable or request me not to use it.
-Tesla's FSD system is classified as a level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System). It is not fully autonomous and I remain in control at all times. There is nothing illegal or concerning about my operation of FSD on Rideshare Drives.
-I am legally protected to record inside my own personal vehicle while on the job and do attain consent for individuals fully featured in my videos. The rest are blurred out with identifiers censored or cut from the videos entirely.

The last two V12 updates have reverted to a serious lane change error that was in the late V11 versions. traveling on an on- ramp of a three lane road with an immediate right tun in 600 ft. ( per map and voice direction). Car signals and moves from far right lane to far left lane then about 100 ft from right turn moves across all lanes to the right turn lane and makes the right turn. First two V12 versions handled this perfectly.
very interesting. This is one of those times where you would think that the car was learning from its mistakes, but we now know that's not how it works. The future would be for it to analyze a voice report and look back on its own drive and see that what it done was wrong and remember that. Not sure how possible that it though lol.
I have the same problem:FSD seems to have a pre-conceived notion of what the road image is. And it even ignores the available merge lanes that appear clearly on its screen. It seems to not "think" fast enough to behave properly when it should be merging into of out of the turn lanes.
Another problem is that it ignores the wide white line and crosses it when it shouldn't. Also it does not react quickly enough to the curved arrows that it sees on right turn lanes.
I think a little bit more reinforcement from Dojo should fix all edge cases. I also hope that FSD rolls out in other countries not just US, China amd EU

I have noticed that even though the route planner shows going straight, MY with 12.3.6 will get caught in the wrong lane and not make a correction, just seems to think that it can plow ahead, no mater what is in it's path, guess that's why they label it "Supervised"... like a 16 year old student driver!
Kaz, do you know any reason why the map displayed for my wife's profile is different than in my profile? I only recently changed her profile to include FSD and I have had it from the beginning. I have had several map data updates, but none since changing her profile. I get a lot more information including businesses and points of interest in my map; she just has street names. Why wouldn't all profiles have the same map display? It will change immediately when I change the profiles.
I have similar problem at a 4 way stop it should go straight but half way through the intersection it changes its mind and tries to turn right
this happens about 50% of the time.
Same kind of thing happens in my area, I disengage and report it every time.
This will be an even bigger problem in Europe. It is mandatory to keep at the utmost right lane at all times unless overtaking OR if you KNOW there will be a solid line ahead that will prevent you from following your route. The premises that knowledge is not necessary is wrong. The best driver in the world could not guess that being on the right would prevent him to maneuver to the left later. Those kind of informations need to make their way to map data.
maybe adjacent traffic can hold it in a lane long enough that it forgets the need to change lane

Do you know if AP has a "do not cross any solid lines unless absolutely necessary" trained in to it? I guess we'll see what happens when you switch to normal and assertive over the next 2 weeks but chill mode is definitely going for ultimate passenger comfort and not for following directions

Waiting for 12.4, it will be a much bigger improvement and it will come soon, all 12.3.x versions are kind of same,
Hey man, love your vids. In time, I hope to get one of these. ( expensive here in New Zealand) my question to you, does Tesla have a “learning” mode? So you start your drive, say from home to the airport, and you push LEARN, and it records your driving, lane changes, speeds in certain areas etc. so then when you drive again from home to the airport, it has learned from your way of driving, how it should proceed in autopilot? That would be good. Love your vids. Shout me out in your next vid. Wal from NZ. That will be buzzy 😂
Some Tesla employee said that something like that is the goal for the future. AI learning your habits and adjusting its weights. But not sure if that would be possible to train FSD on the individual intersections or roads. Ever.

Same here. Lane selection is no better than before and at intersections where there are no other vehicles it’s much to slow to proceed. Ironically at intersections with other cars, it acts nearly perfect.
If the next 12.3.X update is another step backwards, I might not renew my subscription.
You guys complain too much. Fsd is awesome. Yes it chooses the wrong lane at times. It’s still amazing and game changing
@@nbtc539 I'm all in on FSD, literally turn in on from my driveway. This doesn't change the fact that for my area, .6 is a step back from .4 If he next point release goes again in the wrong direction for where I drive, then I'll pause my subscription. I'm confused because all I see online is that .6 is better...
@@antoinepageau8336 might be your area. For me I’m in Southern California so lots of teslas here and it performs well both version. . My only two big issues which involves trip planning ..sometimes it captures the wrong mph and keeps it for the drive like on freeway, and it can select the wrong lane on drives and won’t be able to correct due to traffic.
