- A fantastic "full send" lap with my old Kawasaki ZX-7R through the traffic on the Nürburgring Nordschleife (Touristenfahrten 20.09.2024). Despite the many hold ups, the lap was great and also quick! I think without the hold ups it would be something around 7:50-7:49 BTG.
Probably one of the last if not THE last lap of the season...
A bit sad, but after the season is before the season :)
Maybe there will be a few more nice days in October before we finally head towards winter. We will see.
A nice footage (also from this lap at 39s) from outside:

Da zieht aber einer ganz schön am Kabel, ein Genuss dabei zuzuschauen.
Very fast 28 year old 750 coming through !! Great riding 😎
Absolutely fantastic!!!!.. People can keep telling me they have flashed, de- catted etc their bike...but its about how fast you are, not how fast the bike is . thank you for great upload.👍👍
No ABS, no traction control, no nothing ... But BALLS !!!
You forgot one thing: No power
@@EscapePlan97 123hp, no power ?
@@EscapePlan97It's not how much horsepower you got, it's who you pass with it.
Zx7r one of the most beautiful bikes from 90s era
i´m in love with the Ram-Air-Intakes
Impressive lap with this impressive bike (almost stock).
I was about to go to bed but at the very last minute saw your upload. Great riding and awesome footage! I really chuckled during the part where the KTM Superduke rider was oblivious to your presence 😂. Guess he’ll pay more attention to ZX-7Rs in the future and remember to move out of the way 😀. I can never get enough of your ZX-7R videos and I hope perhaps you can squeeze another before the winter comes…
Glad that you like it.
Haha, yes. His attention to the mirrors wasn't the best.
@@NBR_SK In his defence, -looking at your speedo- he was quite fast through that section so he probably thought no one would be behind him there. He should’ve kept watch for one lunatic on a green ZX-7R though 😂. He immediately pulled to the right and braked as soon as he noticed you so kudos to him…
watching the video feels like riding the Nordschleife on my 96 GSX-R 750 Srad in 1996....I was there between 1996 and 2002 every Saturday and Sunday when the Nordschleife was open for Touristenfahrten.Last two years with GSX-R 1000 K1. My laptime was like yours. First with Bridgestone Tyres and I think it was till 1999 with Metzeler Rennsport Tyres...great time.
fabulous riding!!!!!
No ABS, no traction control 😂😂 that is just how it used to be! Watching the g's on the screen and the lean angle 57 degrees, wicked. Back in the day, there was only the ocasional G but a lot more F's from under the helmet 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. It's all happening between 11 and 12 rpm, ahh the memories. Great riding on a legendary bike that had about an 8 year run with basically just changes in colour scheme!
Man, these 7R's had a planted front end, but you surely push it to a different level!✊✊ Amazing trust on the front and another great ride.
As a fellow fan of older sportbikes, wish I could come and follow you one day🤩
Keep'em comin💪
This guy is amazing. I enjoy watching your videos. Sportsbikes have evolved a lot through the 1990s. When you ride your ZX10r, it's obvious that it has a lot more power, especially in the fast sections, but both the RSV and the ZX7r are still very competitive and fast, with such a good rider who has a feel for each of them. With modern tires, I think that today they are maybe 20 seconds faster than they were 25 years ago on such a long track. Good luck, greetings from Croatia.
Thanks!
Yes, the ZX-10 is for sure another level in terms of pure power. I think when I am more used to it, I can manage something around ~7:30 with it.
And yes, I also think, that modern rubber is helping the old bikes a LOT to be better than back in the days.
Your photos looks great on race tracker 😎
Watching this for the second time. Serious skill. No ABS on the ring 😬
Magnificent NBR_SK 👍🏼
Sehr geil 🤘 Und gut Verkehr (Flugplatz, Brünnchen)
That just goes to show how great those older Japanese bikes can be, upgrade shock and forks and you have a great ride. What kind of tires do you run generally?
@@ridervfr2798 I use Pirelli supercorsa V3 on the 7R (and also my 10R)
I will hopefully be there in June next year on the bike
💯💯💯
❤
Super
54 degrees! LOL I have to up my game.
Note on any of them more than 15 years old, budget for some degree of new stator, coils, carb boots, a replacement for the air filter that mice built a nest in, suspension rebuild, freeing up the calipers, seeing if ANY of the former owner(s) have kept up with valve lash checks, etc.. LOL
This ZX7 is a bike you can buy for peanuts, while a vintage Mustang fastback (essentially a re-purposed Falcon) will set you back $30k or more. The used sportbike market is an embarrassment of riches, as the petroleum age slowly dies. Here's hoping the howl of that ram-air ZX7 intake is around for a while yet.
Is that silencer grounding, on right, at around 50 degrees?
@@billvannah9109 Just the knee sliders :)
Amazing ride; thanks for posting. Curious what tires and suspension upgrades.
@@billvannah9109 Suspension is overhauled and little bit tuned (shims). I use Pirelli supercorsa V3
I have the same bike, but not the balls to lean 54 degrees into a corner 😂😂
Nice lap! Is the suspension tuned?
@@sf8025 suspension is overhauled and little bit tuned (shims) :)
@@NBR_SK Thanks, I've always wondered how 90s suspension copes with the ring, seems solid after the overhaul 👍
Seems like gears 2-5 are very very short
