I feel like this game has just as many secrets as it does actual content, if not more. There’s so much to see and find!! I feel like I’ll never get to all of it!
I'll write things I've discovered here. Edit: Part 1 -some potion liquids can be used to put out lava -the skeleton dude with the barrier that appears if something breaks the holy mountain areas can be damaged if you go inside its personal barrier, and can also be killed if you crush it with the ceiling that breaks when you leave the area, it drops a lot of gold, and when damaged, some kind of ash or bone powder instead of blood. -the red potion that makes you angry also increases your bomb explosion size -apparently the great ceiling on the right side of the map ends at the highest point of the pyramid, if that is true, you can skip the first wall climb and the entire under-the-ceiling thing by flying straight up from the pyramid, using your fancy polymorphine flight. -the essence of explosion can hurt you if you make something that can burn explode, like when climbing the infinite wall and setting a random piece of grass on fire. -You can see enemy names on the Progress screen, they're all in Finnish -If you get killed by your own spell, the playable character's name shows up on the kill screen, turns out they're named "Minä" which is Finnish and means "me" -If you manage to get stuck inside the ground, a tiny area around you will disappear a moment after you start taking suffocation damage, this can happen if you get teleported inside a wall or turn into a worm that doesn't destroy blocks. unfortunately the only way out is probably by using a bomb. -an easy way to get access to a decent wand is by swapping the spells on your default wands, so the one with two basic spells gets the bomb spell, and the bomb wand gets a single basic spell. The second basic spell isn't needed. The bomb spell has ridiculously fast shooting speed, allowing you to shoot much faster than with the other staff. -Perk Lottery is good
i guess the powder that the skeleton drops is salt, i once found a salt flask, and it sprays the same white powder, also the skeleton mage is a creation of god's anger, and salt is somehow religious related, so i guess it is?

thanks for the tips, i didnt know about the heal in the dark cave! here's a little tip i discovered myself. Teleportation liquid has a limited range of teleporting you, meaning you can use it to reach places you cant get to normally without too much bad RNG. for example, give yourself a little spray while near spawn and flying upwards, and chances are you'll teleport ontop of the cave, repeat the same for the sky island, you can even use it to teleport yourself inside of the Pyramid, and due to how many uses a flask has its incredibly handy!
for the dark cave you can drain the water faster by having an empty bottle and fill it, keep ur inventory open and when the bottle reaches 100% full just right click it and it will empty it and fill it again, repeat as needed. you can also blow a hole near the bottom of the dark cave/collapsed mines to drain the water out into the collapsed mines. also if you get the torch wand it will light up the dark area.
Wow! The worm blood night vision is really cool! I discovered the dark cave in my first couple runs. In order to see, I cranked up the gamma in the video options. I thought I was being clever but I guess I was doing it the cheaty way lol. I guess it works if you ever want the health bonuses and don't have a worm nearby.
Rip pyramid, replaced the toxic sludge with the 3 great wands with a difficult boss fight and (from what I've heard) wands that aren't good enough for the challenge of getting them
Best wand I ever came across had a .3 cast, .5 recharge, max mana of around 400, and it had 6 lightning spells on it. I added a shield, since I wasn’t lucky enough to get the lightning perk. One shotted all the enemies I came across since it does 500 damage per hit with an aoe attack. Unfortunately it also breaks the shield and deals like 40 damage. You can guess how I lost it.
Please consider making a video about the alchemy aspect of the game. I've heard that you can make a brand new elements like a healing potion or a potion that turns whatever it leaks onto into gold, but not quite sure how you actually combine things.
Yup. I've been working for the past several hours tonight to get ready to do just that ;) Today's run of the day made it easy to set up a save file with a lot of good stuff in it and I'll be doing a couple videos soon. Thanks for watching!
Actually, that combination for alchemy is unique per world, it’s different per seed. There’s a thing where you can type in the seed and find out the combination though.
Another fun alchemy thing: if you get a lava flask and empty it out 50%, you can fill it with water to make stone. Instead of spraying it you can throw it in front of you to make a wall.
IMPORTANT NOTES IF YOU WANT TO EXPLORE NOITA (I know it's long, but will be probably worth reading + this one is about the other Noita video he made): - In the tree green tabulet/tablet, there is NO need to have the Breathless perk, since you can crouch down on the edge of the water and dink it until it gets low enough to get through. It takes a while to lower, but it's easier than hoping to find the Breathless perk. - I did explore the ceiling of "???", and it was interesting. I used a Chaotic Polymorphic Flask and went flying horizontally to it's edge. After a surprising amount of time, I hit a wall. The formation turn into a "L", so I could climb this next vertical wall, and I did it. On the top, another ceiling. Used the potion again and found another "L". There, I got turned on a bug (?) And couldn't fly to reach the edge, so I fell. Interesting enough, I fell EXACTLY on the top of the pyramid. That marks around 1/4 of the map, halfway through the midle. It took good time to get there, so I gave up, but maybe you reading this could try to get to the end of the ceiling. - You can climb the tree by going from it's bottom, also. To get to the first branch, you don't even need a potion, you can just fly. There, you find a nest with a egg. If you pick the egg, around 6 beholders will come to kill you from the top of the tree (they may don't spawn). If you break the egg, a small blue sandworm will get out from it, and will try to kill you. This one can't "break" the floor, just get through it.To get to the second branch, you NEED a potion or teleport. Be careful, the beholders rest around the second branch (if they spawn). There, another nest with two eggs: one spawns a small blue sandworm, and the other, a big one. This one can "break" floor by passing through it. Then, you can use the potion to get to the top of the tree.
From the icy area I was able to go back to the mines. That giant pool of lava at the far right of the mines leads down on the other side. I crossed it using the perk that makes you freeze fluids. It turns lava to stone. I'm not sure if that's well-known or not, but it could be a good idea to get stronger before exploring the other areas and used that to go back to the surface. It does take a long time though. I was dumb and used the portals to go back to the icy area and it was faster for me to break through the collapsed ceiling than it was for me to climb up. I wand with high recoil could help you climb faster.
The first time I found the dark cave there were shadow boys in there. Just unlucky I guess? I never explored in because I didn't have a torch, didn't know worm blood gave you night vision, and didn't want to cheat with gamma.
The game is too random for it. And start wand deals no damage compared to almost everything else, so it won't be possible to kill anyone on lower levels with it.
i got draught of midas by complete accident and turned a chunk of holy mountain into gold, i got killed a bit later by getting stuck between a ledge and the ceiling good fun.

But it does not say anything if you enter it *however* there is yet another tablet. Edit: also I should add with under the Pyramide I also mean under the sand caves.
That area is hell, and it's not that hell has the same creatures as in the sky, it's that the sky mirrors the below world, the lowest layer of which is hell.
You can't heal yourself with the healing projectile spell. Or at least it's not supposed to allow that. There's another healing spell that makes a healing circle for you.
Well, you "can" heal yourself with it if you get the boomerang spell that causes shots to loop around and come back to you, but it's definitely not a good way to heal. It is one of the few though.
Yeah, but it's not extremely useful, imo, since it heals very slowly. I actually just discovered my first major alchemical combination - "Lively Concoction" - which I was making in the Snowy Depths by spraying water into a pool of blood and oil. It's a sort-of light neon green liquid that rapidly heals anything in it. I ended up making two full flasks of it and then save+quitting since it is getting late. I'll be doing another video on the alchemy recipes soon. There's another one that is called Midas Draught that turns anything except living things into gold (I thought it was just liquids.) I'm sure there are a lot more combinations as well.
@@FuryForged The discord is trying to document all known recipes of lively concoction, you could probably help them out by sharing your world seed and recipe with them.
These are interesting videos but I have to watch them at 1.5x speed because you repeat everything you say 2-5 times. Oh the cave is dark? Oh the cave is dark? Oh the cave is dark?
How do you get the tablets to turn into gold up on the altar in the air? Whenever I put them up there, they just sit there. Also, how'd you drink the worm blood/water??
I just try to throw it around the middle of the altar. Sometimes they sit there until you approach them, then they turn to gold. Just keep trying until you find the sweet spot. The Tabula one near the lava lake almost always spawns spitter enemies though (it didn't only once for me.)
@@FuryForged I collected 4 of em and put em all on the altar and then went back down to collect more, and went through a couple more biomes and got 3 more, and went back up to the altar and they were still there. So i put all 7 on it and they just sit there. But I guess I'll keep trying. Thanks. And how'd you drink the worm blood/water? i didn't even know that was possible
Yeah, I'm going to start up a "playthrough" soon. It won't be a normal rogue-lite sort-of run. I plan to play the game sort-of like hardcore mode survival game, which you can totally play this game as. It's very hardcore and you have to be very careful, but there's so much content in this game that you can definitely do an actual playthrough of it and not just a 30m - 1h long run.
Well, you can play it like a rogue-lite, by travelling downwards through the "stages" and culminating in a boss fight and the "bad" ending OR you could travel around the world, playing it more like a survival game, discovering secrets and hidden powers and then maybe stumbling on to one of the better endings. The game actually has FAR more content that is secret than the actual "game" game. The lore of the game, discovered mostly through secrets, speaks about the search for knowledge and the sacrifices one must make to attain it...sooo, the game is basically about our search for the secrets while we rip apart the game to do so. It's very meta, very fourth-wall-breaking, etc.
has anyone else been to a place that's mostly empty but has twisty ground floating under ground? I found it digging where the dessert and normal land meet. The place didn't have a name pop up.
yep. Kinda empty place with 1 altar or smth with orb in the very bottom. Found it by turning into giant worm and digging down until I get to the red cobblestone(like in lava lake). Ive came from the right end to left and got only 1 altar with orb. Mb there's something else in the middle but I have died after that. Theres so much gunners so I keep turning myself in every mob until I skipped them. Btw I cant remember what kind of orb is it.
Best part is the first time I ever Got to the 3rd floor I just aced it on the first try. Then a worm ate some of the holy temple and I found out that god punishes all that complete the 3rd floor on thier first try
or just get the egg on the tree to the left of spawn, spawn the worm, kill it , drink its blood or put it in a flask, and suddenly you're like on an LSD trip, and can see in the dark.
You can urn the entire world in gold if you carve a run into the moon and poor certain liquid into it then open a weird portal to the work. I watvhed a guy do it,he was cheating a bit tho

It is one of the few though.
man drains all the water because he was thirsty
Lol
Darker pink ?
What about purple?
I've been everywhere in the game but never in the dark cave. I had no idea there was a full heal : /
There is also a place aboth the flying island 0:
The Work is broken af. But you can go there to bottle honey.
I adore this game
5:50 chests could also be mimics and maul your face. They hit hard as fuck. That's why I always shoot them. Just in case.
one more tablet in the tree
they need to make a starving and dehyhaydrated effect for this game.
Hi there, please could you tell me how to back up a save so I dont have to keep restarting a fresh? Many thanks.
Go to C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Nolla_Games_Noita and copy the save00 folder. If you die just replace it again with your copied version.
@@DjTobmaster Hi there, MANY THANKS for sharing :)
@@leebumble Btw, you have to make the copy before you die. It insta deletes as soon as the death screen comes up.
@@DjTobmaster Ahhh right cool, TY 👍👍👍
Omg are they ok?
oh u are so clumsy and cute here
awsome
There is a healing spell that makes a little citcle around u, its reallyy usefull and rare i think , lul best english 🇨🇭
FuryForged wow okay i never heard of that O: thanks for the answer and i will watch ur next video
I really like the game and ur videos, subbed ^-^
@@FuryForged The discord is trying to document all known recipes of lively concoction, you could probably help them out by sharing your world seed and recipe with them.
@@godlyvex5543 Yup, I have it backed-up and am going to upload it there soon.
These are interesting videos but I have to watch them at 1.5x speed because you repeat everything you say 2-5 times. Oh the cave is dark? Oh the cave is dark? Oh the cave is dark?
Hey did you know the Cave is dark
@@Pravus198 thanks. Yeah i finally figured the drinking part out last night. But thanks for the answer so others can know too now.
@@aSinisterKiid Have you updated the game at all? It only works after the first update.
@@godlyvex5543 ooooh that would explain it. I was gonna update it today actually. Thanks for letting me know
Could you link the offical noita discord?

Are you going to do a playthrew of this game once you know as much as you can
Yeah, I'm going to start up a "playthrough" soon. It won't be a normal rogue-lite sort-of run. I plan to play the game sort-of like hardcore mode survival game, which you can totally play this game as. It's very hardcore and you have to be very careful, but there's so much content in this game that you can definitely do an actual playthrough of it and not just a 30m - 1h long run.
what is the goal of the game ?
I think I found that same area. I got a wand that was good for digging and explored a bunch of the surface areas and surrounding underground stuff.
@@jonathan0berg did you find anything in the area i was talking about? i didn't.
@@icewolf9067 I saw like one or two of the floating guys with guns, but nothing else. It seems like it was just an empty place in between other areas.
Mb lava lake skill or earthshake skill
Absence of light is relative to ones ability to perceive it. One that cannot see the light within the dark will only fall to those who do.
Dont wanna spoil anything but 3 floor is hard AF
Best part is the first time I ever Got to the 3rd floor I just aced it on the first try.
Then a worm ate some of the holy temple and I found out that god punishes all that complete the 3rd floor on thier first try

Acid not sludge

Not funny. Didn't laugh.
Twet Twet dang, I need better material.
When i first played it i hated it as i opened the secretes i realized how good it was
Noitada
or just get the egg on the tree to the left of spawn, spawn the worm, kill it , drink its blood or put it in a flask, and suddenly you're like on an LSD trip, and can see in the dark.
he does that in the video...

You can urn the entire world in gold if you carve a run into the moon and poor certain liquid into it then open a weird portal to the work.
