I was debating pursuing shorts, but all my content is long form and my audience is entirely organic. I may be growing slow, but I'm pretty sure just jumping on shorts may have killed my channel completely!

I just give all my videos small initial boost, and that caused them to spread literally everywhere, bringing more and more organic views day after day.

I have the same problems. Since Shorts are getting more views, the long videos have bad views. I postet a long video over 20.000 views and over 1000 watchtime in the first week. That was my 4. long video. After that I made more Shorts to get Followers. Now all my long videos have around 300 views. I have over 1100 Followers, but the watchtime of my long videos is shit... Should I delete my Shorts?

Don't delete anything, keep uploading long videos, if you are not getting any results, create a separate account and upload long videos only
