I´ve never thought Klingons could sing such a touching song. But on the other hand they wrote Shakespearan plays, so it´s possible. Love the voice, by the way.
My beautiful intelligent wonderful friend Andy Loved Klingon, Loved everything Star Trek. A few months ago he shared a post of this saying This is something We needed to hear, we just didn't know it yet. I am remembering him tonight. He Died last night. Tonight I am celebrating his life and my birthday without him in my life anymore. I miss him so much. I am so broken. Thank you for this beautiful version. I really did need to hear it. Thank you.
I'm so very glad this song has brought you comfort. Our warrior hearts may break but he rides with Black Fleet...and we shall sing songs in his honor and give a mighty death howl that shakes the great halls of Stovokor so that those who have gone before know another warrior has joined their ranks.

What a great voice! You're a great warrior, jewel of our Empire, indeed leaving me in tears but without the slightest sense of dishounour for my weakness!
Seriously, this is amazing! Your vocals are well-suited for singing in Klingon, and the tone of the song fits with the Klingons' interesting attitude toward romance, in my opinion. Great work.

This is the first time in a very long while that I can honestly say once again that this song sounds great, listening to it in Klingon for the first time. This sounds very right to my ears. I like it.
I genuinely enjoy singing this song live because I think it shows that the language, while guttural & harsh, can actually be very musical, too. It surprises people. :)
This particular translation is pretty word-for-word to the original. Most of the songs on my first EP are fairly literal translations. I don't perform with any supertitles and like to let the songs stand on their own. As I've gotten more involved in the translation process and started translating songs myself, I have moved away from literal translations and more towards keeping the intent of the song but steeping the lyrics in Klingon culture (for example I recently translated Seven Nation Army and the literal translation is Molor's 500 Warriors). This makes it more fun for me, personally, but also more fun for the Klingon language community. I'm slowly releasing my translation documents to my website as I have time to build them out.
