I just picked up both digital albums from your bandcamp page, next week I want to buy both CDs for my uncle who speaks Klingon. He loves the Empire and Metal lol
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the music! :) Klingon language community is pretty awesome & tight-knit. If your uncle is part of the community online or off, he may already have my stuff or be passingly familiar! :)
This is awesome. I'm glad I got luck and stumbled on this. No one knows this is a Danzig cover until they click on the link. If it was in the title you'd probably get more hits.
Thank you for the comment. If you head to my website in the video description, you can find links to the 2 studio EP's that I have produced on Amazon, iTunes, Google, and Bandcamp. Thanks again!
The final slide of this video also mentions that I'm on Amazon, iTunes, etc. If you have a recommendation for how I could better communicate this, I'd certainly appreciate it! :)
So it is good, very much look forward. Here in the Czech Republic with your singing achievement much appreciated. Especially at conventions around here. I look forward to more songs. Qapla!
Found out about you through improv star trek recently and you've inspired me to start learning klingon! If there were a weird for thank you in klingon I would say it... But as there is not- Qapla'!
Although there is a word for thanking in Klingon, the idea is different. In English, thanking someone is quite a passive activity. All that is done to thank someone is saying, "Thank you". The Klingon sense of thanking someone, however, is a more active undertaking. So when you say "qatlho'", it carries with it a sense that in the future you will be doing something to actually repay the other as if you were in debt to that person. However, I've been noticing more of a shift in this. Learners, and even some older speakers, are throwing it out there in the more English sense. I personally find this a bit disturbing. Do not take all this as an expert explanation. I've been studying but am by far no expert. I might have missed something or learned incorrectly. But this is what I remember.
Of course! Took him captive and then learned he could play. Now as long as he plays well, he survives the away missions. (Usually, I'm the one who messes up though, not him. lol)
I have not yet made it out that far but if you let me know about your favorite local conventions & let them know I exist it's always possible to make something transpire!
When we recorded this song almost 3 years ago, we had NO IDEA! I was absolutely THRILLED at that episode of Discovery when L'Rell announced herself as SoS!
This video has the Klingon close captioned. My Bandcamp page has the Klingon lyrics for all the songs on both albums. :) klingonpopwarrior.bandcamp.com
Now that right there, is some mighty fine singing.
qatlho'! Thank you! You can find me on Spotify, Amazon, Bandcamp, and more! Qapla' batlh je, SuvwI'!
I could honestly never fully appreciate Glenn Danzig's music before I heard it in the Klingon original. Qapla'!
majQa'! Everything is better in the original Klingon. ;)
I literally just found this accidentally.
Now I must binge watch/listen to all of your songs/videos!

As a MetalHead and a Trekkie I APPROVE OF THIS!!!!!!!! Needs to be with a full metal backtrack!!!!!!
Check out my website: www.klingonpopwarrior.com - this was done with strings and more! It's pretty rad!
I think Glenn would approve.
🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
I was hoping for Pink Floyd's Mother from The Wall. Had to stay and listen anyway. :)
Looks like Riker on guitar.
Is there any chance you could do Fly me to the Moon in the original Klingon?
I'll put it on the list of possibilities!
Qap'la!
Love it
Wow!
Favourite!
Mine, too! My guitar player's arrangment for the EP is amazing! He plays violin, too, & looped in some friends to sit in on a couple songs.

It is mentioned in the description. This song will be on my new EP coming out next year.
Best thing ever!!
amazing voice and nice idea. You should make a studio version of all songs, the result would be a lot better

Will do, I've got some friends at few of our conventions. I think you'd be awesome at GeekGirlCon.
@@daviddaschofsky7358 I would LOVE to come to GeekGirlCon!! It's on my bucket list of cons to attend!
A Hommage to L'rell mother of the empire
When we recorded this song almost 3 years ago, we had NO IDEA! I was absolutely THRILLED at that episode of Discovery when L'Rell announced herself as SoS!
This must have been a fantastic surprise. Maybe it is time for a clip of the Song together with scenes of L'rell
Is there lyrics for this somewhere? For each and every one of the Klingon versions, for that matter.
