I tried something similar recently with the quest 3 and will hopefully get to posting about it at some point soon for my channel. Check this out, I have been designing my new office for work/content creation and a buddy of mine works for a company called gravity sketch. It's a 3d modeling software that's free on the quest 2 and 3. So we quickly roughed in my space with some ideas in it to scale and then brought it into another free program to render it. Wow. I am then going to try and walk around the actual final design with the headset on before I start renovations. You should try that program and see if you can do something cool with it since you already have the quest 3.

I do think it would be a better visual experience with the Vision Pro, but yeah too expensive and from the reviews I think it would be even more uncomfortable than the Quest for extended sessions. I have tried Gravity Sketch and that's such a great idea to render your office reno plans!! Nice one!
Wow. I actually never considered part 4. Pretty cool on that one. Maybe in the future, VR headsets will get to a point where it is much more comfortable and feasible to use them for this use-case. For me, I've owned a Windows MR headset, but ditched it with few uses for somewhat similar complaints, albeit a different use case. I can definitely see VR being useful for meditation or games, but it may still take time for affordable headsets to be really good with productivity for extended periods. Just my thoughts, though.
Agreed. For gaming right now, VR is such a great experience. It just can't compete with a good old fashioned monitor in my opinion when it comes to productivity. Maybe that's a good thing... haha
