I'm ao glad a barefoot shoellie was showcased, I've been thinking of ordering one myself for a while now.
Me too, I just wish the toe box on the zero drop last was slightly more anatomical and it would be an easy sell
I got some custom zero drop barefoot Shoellies as well, in fudge, and they're great. A very comfortable casual shoe I can wear with shorts in warm weather.
The more I see of this company, the more I need a pair; lord willing, next payday, I can get me a pair of Jim Greens. I am awaiting the Moc Toe series, though. 😁
Those barefoot AR8's are my sixth pair. Between the value and the custom options I like the "froggies" as much as any boots I've worn in 70+ years.
@@dbmail545 That's quite impressive, over 70+; I know many people think that if it's not made in the "USA," then the quality is cheap...but truth be told, there are other countries out there that produce quality products. That's why I am really interested in getting a pair from this company, the workmanship looks fantastic!

big fan of the roughout barefoot razorback, that has to be the most practical barefoot hiking boot and it looks nice. the ar on the tyre wedge and ar8 on the eva mini lug also look great.

With all the new variations, I am still loyal to the old Razorback. I just wish that they had leather insole and midsole.
It looks like the leather midsole is preferred by more people.

The bronco Numzaans with the black toe cap and heel counter are bad ass. I am really feeling the call of the bronco leather, but I haven't even gotten anything with Houston green yet!
My 2 x pairs of custom barefoot shoellies arrived a few weeks ago (in Houston Black and Fudge), and I absolutely love them! ❤️👞 After seeing the first pair at 0:15, my only question now is whether I need to order another pair with a leather toe cap 😅💸 - looks great! 😍

Those AR8's shipping to Crawfordville are on the zero-drop STC last with a thermoplastic toe cap. Looking forward to them.

Is the zero drop last, the same last as in the barefoot african ranger ? I love this boot, I have it.
On the second barefoot shoellie, I noticed it had a "leather toe puff" I didn't realize that wad an option? I had only seen the thermoplastic toe puff in the customs page

I have a pair in this spec (Houston Black, but I've buffed it with a homemade beeswax+oil compound so that it looks like full grain). I've been wearing them for a month or so now and I love them! Can highly recommend.

Does anyone here know if the natural color jg outsole is made of a softer compound like there or wedge? i love my lugs but they are brutally hard on the warehouse floor
The "tyre wedge" sole is the same compound as the Oringo wedge soles but a little thicker. I agree that lug soles on pavement are not optimal.
I have a pair of the natural lug on my razorbacks from about a year ago. I don't think they are that hard. I don't have a JG black to compare, but I have a few vibram black lugs (V100) that are definitely harder. I thought the natural might be softer than the black, but then they have also played with the hardness of their various soles recently so I definitely am not sure.
