When will this boot be produced for retail sale?
Those would be perfect with a leather midsole.

I can’t make up my mind on which custom pair I want. To many I like to choose from. I like the Razorback in black with a roughout collar and heel counter. Love them all!!
Man, I really like that tyre wedge sole. I wish you offered a resole service so I could put it on my African Rangers.
I am still waiting on the moctoe and 719. Hopefully they use the leather sole since I don't mind the extra weight. I just want them to last a long time.
I am considering having my original African Ranger resoled for the first time. I have been using them for construction work on the weekend for nearly a year and they have held up quite well.
Pretty sure they won't be releasing till early next year.
Put a leather midsole on the boot for the US market. I will buy it.
if you could make the AR8 with a safety toe, electrical hazard rated, and leather toe cap, not only would I exclusively buy your work boots for the rest of my life, I would also gift those boots to my family members who also work in the trades.

Have you ever considered offering shift-lever reenforcement as an option for motorcycle riders? A 1"x3" strip on the toe would be sufficient.

This is great I’m an electrician in the U.S and was looking on your website for eh safety boots but couldn’t find. Is there going to be a version with composite toe?
That’s great I really want a good leather boot for work here in Germany as a electrician its almost impossible to find something that is approved, comfortable and resoleable. I really hope they get approved here!
looks good in black! a steel toe ranger sounds nice, I work in a hot climate as well and have really come to love my rangers this summer.
I’m going to need Electro Static Dissipative (ESD)-rated shoes sometime. My boss keeps talking about sending me out to do installs. ESD footwear is a requirement for some data centers. Discharge wrist straps are fine for working on one machine at a time but we install hundreds at a time.
That tyre wedge sole looks very nice. Hope to have them in the basic lineup in Europe.

Correct but electrically rated boots usually do. It's more to do with insulation from the ground via sole. There are electrically insulated metal screwdrivers!
would it be possible to get white or light grey ish leather?

Any plans to have a boot with a puncture resistant midsole? My work boots have saved my feet a few times now.
Good day @RE-fh2jn thank you for your interest in Jim Green. Unfortunately, we don't have a certified puncture-resistant midsole in our lineup thus far. We recommend checking with a specialised safety workwear retailer to see if they could assist.
This is exactly what I need except with a zero drop sole on it
The custom shop is offering a Steel Toe Cap zero-drop last in addition to their STC last and their zero-drop last.
Does your steel toe also run wide?
The steel toe fits the same as the regular African Ranger; they are built on the same last (STC = steel toe cap)
Please make these available for retail. My African Rangers are the only shoes I wear, whether I'm on the farm, in the city, doing office work, or watching tv. They only leave my feet the second I'm in bed. I would love a safety toe ranger on the job site in the Limpopo heat. Please make this happen🙏
