One of mine absolutely refuses to come into this shape, like the gusseting just won't let it. Not sure what to do about it, seems silly to return it over that.

I will be buying a pair as soon as they are available in black in EU size 8.5. I already registered for an email. One thing can make me these boots truly perfect and that is a steel toe, I wish I could've custom ordered a pair with it. Either way, you look like a great brand with very high value products so I'm looking forward to what you come up with next.

By the way the wide toe box is why I liked your boots. I mean most other boots cause a blister on my big toe but yours do not.

out of all the shoes I have tried in the past few years I narrowed it down to 2 brands. Yours and splay. Yours are a bit better than splay though as your can be resoled.

Is the Tan leather option going away? I see it out of stock on the JG USA website on the Razorbacks. Or maybe you just need to restock it?

Is it just me or is JG making the Oringo Wedge sole thicker now? I got my Iron rangers a while back and they seem thinner than these.

I am team Meander for sure but I am so intrigued with the anvil outsole which then would make the boots rugged but with boat shoes type flexibility. I understand the giveaway is over but I’d love to see more moc toes varieties in Jim Green’s lineup. You guys are amazing!

The trick to getting the most out of your Jim Greens is to kit out the insole. I own four pairs and all are excellent in my opinion.

The return policies on boots and shoes are frustrating in general. That's not a Jim green thing either, pretty much everyone says once it's been actually worn, you own it. That's rough since most shoes have break in periods, with boots being the worst obviously, but also, something might be comfortable for an hour or so and then start hurting. I'm breaking in a pair of ariats right now, I have to drive with them loose, but as I walk throughout my work shift, they get more and more comfortable until they're actually just lovely to wear, but the next day it's another 2-3 hours of slight discomfort. I'd probably have sized up on size after the first day, but they got scuffed, so now I own them.

How would you recommend I maintain the natural veg tan color? I LOVE the color, I'd be so upset if I had used that balm and got something so dark.

I love my fudge African Rangers. Treated them with Sno-seal and it works in Minnesota. But they are broken in and fit wonderfully.

There's my favorite 5:58. That AR8 in the middle looks so good!

I purchased my first pair of Barefoot boots and first pair of African Rangers in the Houston Green. I purchased them for the purpose of wearing in the house only. The first week of wear, the boots caused my feet to throb after a few hours wear. Also, the padded collar dug into my inner ankles. I rubbed some leather conditioner on the inside of the boots in the areas were biting into my ankles. I did this for about three or four days and wore the boots with thick sock also coated with leather conditioner. Three months later and these are my house slippers! I look forward to slipping on my Barefoot ARs every morning as I step out of the bed. Added bonus: I noticed that my flat feet are developing arches! 5 - stars, Gareth!

The African Ranger in Rough Out looks like it will be so comfortable once broken in.

I bought 2 pair of the African Rangers, love them, and most recently the incredibly awesome 719! Love both types of boots. However I just discovered my new secret love affair with the ASHM last! For now I’m all set with footwear, but…. Dreaming of my next pair of rangers I want to include that sexy ASHM! Any chance you guys plan to make the African Rangers with the ASHM option??? ❤❤❤❤

I didn’t know EVA and tyre wedge could be combined. I could use that extra cushioning on concrete floors.
