I'm a 71 year old widower living in western Canada and, sure, we have great riding in this enormous country, but somehow there's a mistique to riding in Europe that doesn't exist here. One of the great unfulfilled desires of my life has been to tour Italy by motorcycle, staying away from the major cities, just drifting through the hill towns, immersing myself in the ambiance of that ancient land. You are so right sir ! I lived in France just after the war and toured around Europe on a moped. Now, dozens of bikes later in 68 years of driving, I own both a GL1800 Honda Goldwing and a Suzuki Bergman 650, I too wish at 80 I could return to roam those lovely roads up in the mountains of France and Italy. At least I can relive them vicariously through UA-cam videos such as this.
