Look up 2018 couple honeymoon shooting. I lived in condesa and cuautepec (the hood) very very dangerous. There’s a lot of rape, the busses and subways have sections for women only becuase they are attacked so much. Lots of shootings.

Yo como mexicano de la Ciudad de México diría que sí les interesa conocer algo característico más de mi ciudad además de lo mostrado en este vídeo, podría ser Iztapalapa, Xochimilco (sin tomar en cuenta tanto las trajineras), Milpa Alta, Indios Verdes (y más al norte, como hasta Cuautepec), Tlalpan o el Ajusco; y si quieren ir más allá, visiten Tepito, Tláhuac, Ecatepec, Chalco o Tlalnepantla. Se los menciono para que tengan cuidado. Si la gente te ven como extranjero, muchas veces te venderán las cosas más caras
Was there anything concerning at all about the whole trip? My first time going I really don’t know what to expect. But I have somebody as my tour guide that’s from there so I’m not too worried but I definitely want to make sure my safety is priority.
Not at the moment but most people literally have not the slightest idea about Mexico. Until Mayo Zambada turned himself in and Chapiza and Mayiza went to war with eachother recently even more than before, Sinaloa was super controlled and was really safe to visit because it was all under control and both sides of CDS as well as Beltran Leyva Organization all had their parts they controlled so there wasn’t many problems in much of Sinaloa especially the bigger cities outside of the couple Culiacanazo incidents but regardless it was pretty safe to visit before a couple months ago.

Well there’s a few things I do to protect myself, I walk around with expensive cameras and drones so I’m more vigilant than others, don’t be alone and be in public spaces and don’t go areas you’re not familiar with, take these tips and you will be fine

I've literally never looked into what Mexico is like at all, all I know about is people going on holidays to the resorts that they tell you TO NOT LEAVE, and I would say media, but I can't think of any media I've ever seen that shows Mexican cities its all about drug cartel stuff, maybe really rural near border towns that are completely controlled and fucked by cartels.. But just from this one short alone, your place looks nice. I've always admired the rural Cowboy-looking Mexican culture, I've seen a bit of that online. But honestly if you asked me to describe a big Mexican city before I just watched this then I would've given a very low-brow, movie stereotype description
