I just used my Pro Resort for the first time .... here is what i learned. #1 Its not as big as it seams #2 it weighs 2X as much when you take it down and you CAN NOT get it back small enough to get back in the bag (when it heats up it gets real frosty and freezes doubling the weight and making impossible to repack) #3 you will need to set it up after using it to thaw it out so, you better have a place to do that or well you will find out the hard way. #4 the damn zipper for the main door is a pain in the ass at the top it like's to zip up into the extra fabric. Im sure there is more but ill end it here.
I have never had trouble getting it back in the bag, it's huge and oversized for the tent. Even the monster lodge bag is easy to get back in. They are heavy though, but insulated well and are a very good hot tent . I haven't had zipper problems, but have had a hub fail on my resort, otter has since upgraded the hubs and it is an inexpensive part.
Seen your truck in town today, did you get on the loosing side of a fight with a moose? Good luck with the new tent! Think Williston has enough ice yet? My dugout has way thicker ice than usual
Ya back in August I clipped a moose. Unfortunately I'll be sporting the dent till April. There's a long waiting line at the autobody shop. I don't there would be any ice at all on Williston and it's still open water. I stay clear of Williston especially when they open the dam and drop the water level. You might have nothing but air under the ice when you drill a hole.
To bad man, the risk of living in the north. Ya Williston is a sketchy lake , I usually don’t go until the spring, anyways good luck fishing and look forward to the video, cheers
I know they advertise them as a 6 - 8 man hub but really youre fishing 4 comfortably without worrying about a fish pulling your line across yoir buddy lines
Ya 4 or 5 guys fishing would be the most I would want to go unless it's completely empty with all of your gear outside and one or two holes in the middle.

Fun! Can't wait to see it in action on the ice.

Is #2 a fault of this specific model or a fault inherent to all portable ice fishing shelters?

@BuickOutdoors works amazing for 2 people to camp overnight in on the ice though!!
Absolutely! We tested it out just in our driveway for a little overnight camp out. Two people and three dogs with plenty of room
Beauty tent! Only a few more days of work and we will be hitting the lakes!
I'm heading out Friday for a overnight trip. You coming?
@@BuickOutdoors if I'm done work ill be there with the sugar shack lol
My only thing is I wish you would have added a link. So if we wanted to buy it he would make a commission off of it.
Unfortunately I don't have an affiliation with them. I appreciate the support though.
Nice hut for sure 🎣💪👍🎥
Won't be dry if using propane
