    This is a project close to our hearts because we would love to live in something like this. We've been watching a lot of van life people and tiny house channels and it looks amazing.
    Never seen someone build one from scratch. The finished product looks incredible, you've thought of everything. I was a bit worried about the carbon monoxide situation but you were on top of it!
    The Aussie camo, the logo, it all looks schmick mate. As we were watching I said to Dunks "All it needs now is an awning" and BAM! You pulled out the annex.
    All it needs is some portholes in the roof for throwing rocks at birds in the morning when they wont shut up.
    A great vid, presented well by a bloke with passion for the project, good editing and fantastic narration. Bang up job Ken, leading the way as usual.

      @@Ken_James_SV Problem is that "IDEA" is what most people get and then stagnate - but you turned the idea into reality , God Bless you and your family

    An awesome job Ken, now let's see the plans

      Thanks Terry. LOL!!! There are no plans. I built it by visualising it in my head, and designed it as I went along. I have a habit of building things that way. Never with plans.

    I was privaliged to have a guided tour of Kens camper after he finished it, and may I say that he has done a fantastic job of it he should be proud of his efforts. The bush tracks that we go on will test it out. 10/10 Cheers Rob

    Hello Ken, first of all, nice job on the video and the editing! Super professional work. I really like your build and all the innovations in the details, functional and comfortable at the same time. Plus, it's strong so you can take it most anywhere. Good job.

      G'day Rick and Linda, thank you for the nice words. I appreciate them. Yes the camper is a strong unit. I had to build it that way as we have some really hazardous tracks we drive along to get to our spots. It handles the bumps and ruts well. Take care and happy travels 😀👍

    Hello Ken, hope you are well and safe. Excellent work, specially the two bunk beds and manage a space for small toilet as well. How did you go about getting an approval/registration in Vic please? I am in WA.

    • @Ken_James_SV
      @Ken_James_SV  2 роки тому

      G'day Shailesh, There's no need to register it as a caravan. It is classified as a load on a trailer, just like anything else you carry in a trailer, but it must be under the allowed weight on the trailer I.D. plate. If the trailer is registered with simple trailer registration that's all you need. But, if you bolt or screw the camper permanently to the trailer it then becomes a caravan and would need Caravan registration. The way I have done it means it is just a load strapped down to a trailer. It is easy to undo the turnbuckles and take the camper off.
