My favorite thing to do with extremely large zucchini is to make zucchini boats. Slice it in half, carve out the middle until about 1/4-1/2 in. Then mince up the middle and add a couple of eggs(to hold everything together), mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, onions, and any other veggies you want, and if you want any meat(precooked like ground pork) add that too. Then bake and enjoy. This has turned into my specialty for family gatherings.

About growing in colder climate (I’m born in north of Sweden US zone 3) get a frost cloth and make a tunnel over each garden bed. That way you can start earlier and extend in fall even though some frost nights.

I wish there was a love button ❤. I love to watch your family working together and helping each other. All pitching in to get a job done. (I have to admit when I watched them pulling those poopy 💩 mats out of the horse stalls, I found myself saying “gloves, guys! Where are your gloves!?” 😂no biggie. Just me. Lol) Their concern for you, Melissa, is touching. I’m so glad we get to go along with y’all through this new pregnancy. I’m a grandma so this is so exciting for me.

I’m with Melissa’s “I don’t [need a break] I’m fine” Perhaps I’m too old school but I really don’t get the idea that pregnancy such a game changer in the day to day chores. It’s not an illness (I realize that there are unique situations…) Caution necessary but our bodies were created to grow life.
The kids have been helping out with a lot of stuff. Another great video and y'all are so good your great parents and you all have such a good relationship with your kids. Can talk to you all may feel comfortable doing it and y'all are always reaching out to him all the time is good parents.
And everything looks so nice in coming into place and got a new baby on the way and what a blessing that is.❤❤❤

You need an ATV with a plow that fits into the stalls to use instead of spreading straw by hand. Love you guys!
The best flooring for stalls and the area just outside the stalls for about 15-20’ is 3” rock covered with ag lime and compacted in. Then in the stalls use black rubber stall matts. Then cover with shavings or fine chips. It’s clean for the horses and so easy to keep clean. Ag lime is a naturally hygienic helping to prevent mold and mildew and neutralizes harmful bacteria.

There is a lady that has a utube channel called the “ The clever cow girl “ she works with difficult horses actually rescues them. She’s so good with them and so knowledgeable. My daughter is 42. Her boys are 14. 6. And brand new. The six year old was so happy to be a big brother and he has been nothing less than Wonderful. ❤ of course I am over the moon.
As I grow older, I don’t wish time away, because I know I have precious little of it left. But, now I find myself wishing away the winter months, and the arrival of the new life that this spring will bring.

When I watched your podcast I am so happy for you all. & you guys are too hard on yourselves, all parents make mistakes. You learn from them. You guys have done an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING MARVELOUS job with your kids so not only is this little baby going to be blessed with AWESOME parents but will also be a surprise blessing to you as well. My Mom had my little brother when I was 12yrs old but he was such a blessing. Remember God’s plan, purpose & timing are ALWAYS PERFECT. Unfortunately my brother is now 55yrs old & has early onset of Alzheimer’s so we may not have much time with him so ‘time spent’ has become the most valuable thing in my life, 1st with Him & then with each other. Take every day 1 at a time, praise God in the good & the bad & always keep your hearts growing closer to each other & even closer to God. Praying for you all every night & praying for a happy, healthy, wonderful little bundle of JOY. Perfection is only reached when we meet Jesus face to face. I loved this, Ludo eating all the veggies made me laugh. My dog would never do that. Love seeing everyone helping and getting the work done. You can take those huge zuchinni and can small chunks in pineapply juice and they turn into pineapple. haha Seriously though.. use when you need canned pineapple in anything. You would never know the difference! You can also make mock apple pie filling and can that with those huge zuchinni. I do the pineapple but have never done the apple one. Some people also dehydrate it and then grind it into flour and use it for baking, like sub 1/2 of the flour for the zuchinni flour.
I love it when nothing goes to waste, either you figure out how to eat it/preserve it or feed it to the animals who also need food. Those chickens thought they won the lottery. haha
Right? I laughed when they came out like a herd when they were putting the tomatoes in there.

The nice thing about it is you can take some of that horse manure and put in the garden. Oh, while it's sitting in there over the winter, it'll be like a put a lot of vitamins and nutrients and everything for plants next year
green tomatoes are wonderful when you turn them into chow-chow (basically pickled). I canned several this year. yum!

Hello my loving Idaho family!! Unfortunately it won’t be a brunch date today because I’m home in bed with 104 temp 😢. My grandson came last week for his fall break and he had already been sick a week and wasn’t any better. So my son took him to the Dr and he was strep positive. To be honest I think he had Covid with strep because he lost 11 lbs in one week before he came for his visit. Hopefully I’ll be better soon but for today it’s all I can do to make it from my bed to the bathroom.
I absolutely adore how Jeremy is making a fuss over his lil momma!!! One thing is for certain this child will be in a loving happy healthy home♥️!!! I’m excited to see if we r getting a girl or boy🩷🩵!! I will be sending gifts for sure and I bet plenty others will too!!

Thought I may not look the part, but I'm a South Jersey (below the Mason Dixie line) country boy/Man Like to tell people, if they grown it, I have picked it. So watching you do a season end clean up of your garden hit a nerve with me. Fall clean up is when my fore fathers/mother were allowed to go into the field and collect any left over produced that was not harvested for sale. This would then be brought home and caned for the winter. Nothing was left behind, not even the frost bitten or over ripe. The root cellar walls were full by the first day of winter. Love you for keeping the tradition alive.

I know the children knew ahead of time all the many things that Mom did. But now it's a multiplied factor that they feel all the things that Mom was doing and she can't do at the moment. Bravo for everyone pitching in said that Melissa can have time to care for herself and her changing body. I'm sure she doesn't want any of you tote over her Quite so heavily that she feels like she can't do anything. But that is also part of the showing love Factor And your family.
