Highbanking for Gold in Lockdown

- We finally got to do some Highbanking for Gold during the current Covid-19 Lockdown.
This is on my own property in western Victoria, Australia.
Equipment:
Gold Rat 12" Outback Pioneer series Highbanker,
Minelab Gold Monster 1000
That highbanker setup is really working well on the clay rich material. Great specimen at the end 😊👍💰
Thanks David. I would lose a lot of gold if I didn't use the combination of a Clay Claw and expanded mesh over Miners Moss in the top hopper. There's been times where I have had a clay ball roll around in there for about 20 minutes before it totally broke down, and it was full of gold. I left it going while I sat and had a coffee break 😄
@@Ken_James_SV That's a great idea even without the clay in there the additional agitation with any material must be a plus in the recovery.

Thanks, things are opened up again and we've been out a couple of times already. But not as much as we wanted. When it wasn't too hot it was raining LOL!
@@Ken_James_SV Been raining and snowing in the mountains in CA and have to time my trips around weather forecast and bring my frog Togo’s.

Great job, like the look of the last bucket you ran, might have to move up the bank further if you run some more preventing it from silting up the your dam to much. Good luck.

I miss the high tech addition of the rock but love that new reverse riffle. Thanks to you and your son for sharing the cleanup. It scratched the itch for just a little bit longer :)

It's sad to say but ya better get used to working at home coz it's not going away. Unless you just do your thing and don't tell anyone!
Can't get out there to get any more Ralph. Even though the good spot is only 2 kilometres from home it's not worth the risk getting caught. I don't have a spare $1,652 for the fine 😖 I'll wait till it's lifted and go back to highbanking onsite in the bush 👍
@@Ken_James_SV in the UK the coronavirus act has been passed and it's in for 2 years and it's stripped civil liberties away. It's not going away. Sad times we live in. At least we had a good childhood and life before now. I'm 46.
