I’m trying to turn away from my sins but MAN, it’s not so easy.. keep finding myself back in the same old hole sometimes deeper. Hopefully the Savior can lift me fully out of it for good one day. 🙏🏼
He always finds a way to help us realize what we can do. Keep trying, keep seeking to do good in this world, and you will find your way out. He will help you as you seek to help yourself!
joshua, You are an amazing child of God. we are all human. repentance is usually a process, not just a one time thing. having a plan as to what to do when tempted can help, having good friends who will keep you accountable also helps, and having replacement behavior to replace our bad habits will help. You got this. ❤
I'm there. currently dealing with the same feeling, so I get'cha.
Sometimes all it takes is just to pay a little more attention to details in our daily life to see how He talk to us. The simple fact that I'm here writing this to you, while listening to the MTC could be a clear testimony, as everytime I find myself listening to hymns or coming back for a LDS message it's because his holy spirit brought me to this.
That same hole you are digging is the same hole Jesus is up there pushing the dirt back into. He's helping you whether you know it or not. As long as you have the desire to repent anywhere in your heart, He will take it and help you grow from it. Believe in Him and that He is your Savior. He doesn't ask for more than for you to believe in Him and follow His example the best you can. You can do it!
There's always a light at the end of the tunnel,because you are in a tunnel ,not in a hole.Look for the light.when you see it hurry and get out without looking back.
Just imagine how wonderful and peaceful our entire world would be if everyone followed our Savior's teachings.....

AGREE! I was born in the church and have been inactive for almost two decades now, but these primary hymns will always have a special place in my heart.

@@crgc23 I've been inactive for a few years and this song reminds me of the simpler times in primary, and when I would draw with crayons and listen to hymns during sacrament- so nostalgic and beautiful I just wept :,(

I don’t understand the thumbs down. Regardless of your faith, the music and the message are wonderful.
There are always haters...even Jesus was hated (by the religious leaders of the time) which shows that you can't judge people by what other people think of them.
In everything we do there would be opposition, but we have learnt to stand still and be not weary in right doing

So we need to be Stern and steady when we stand on the rock of Jesus Christ platform. Not move, and that moving anyway. They can scream and holler all they want and Nash their teeth all they want to. Also you have some that just don't like that type of music so be it.

In my case, I'm not ascribed to any religious ideas. However, I do enjoy listening to Sacred classical music, Baptist Gospel songs, and these spectacular melodies performed by the Tabernacle Choir. Quality music is a great aesthetic experience, regardless our beliefs. Best regards from Bogota, Colombia!

I am grateful for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and all those who are in leadership positions male and female. Not always a big fan of American choirs but MTC are outstanding. Orchestration and orchestra superb. Singing is absolutely top quality. Crisp and clear, in-tune with lots of texture. Can't help but get chills. This is beautiful. Total perfection.

Ariel Grushka I'm a 13 year old deacon that mainly listens to electronic music. I can't believe that I've resented to listen to these wonderful hymns all these years! I'm sort of tearing up as I remember singing this in primary... Music is a powerful thing, you know?
