Dr Huberman is a neuroscientist who spent 27 years running his lab at Stanford. And actually measuring the very areas of the brain which control the aim, the target, and the reward along the way.
Dr Jordan Peterson's advice is backed by solid research in psychology as well as in neuroscience. What a home run.
The last part about the relationship between sin, aiming, and hell is spot on and well explained!

What is your advice regarding bringing up hard and emotional topics without our partners shutting down? Love your content!
One thing I find that helps is starting topics with how you feel about them(the topics) in a kind and gentle way. For example, “I feel like you’re losing interest in me because...” Or even extremely harder, “ I feel like our relationship won’t end up in a healthy place if we don’t figure out how to communicate healthily.” If he/she continues to shut down after you try to communicate healthily and doesn’t seem to want to change, then I would advise you to reevaluate your relationship. There’s nothing worse than being with someone who isn’t willing to work towards building a healthy relationship. It causes so many issues. Hope this helps.

well, actually the sick are bad mr. peterson, but not in a moral sense. more like a bad apple incapable of helping itself and not because it really can't, but because it doesn't want to. somehow it feels good to sit there and rot away. habits die hard for a reason. it takes the same amount of effort to be happy as it does to be miserable. and there is no such thing as bad luck, sir. we go down hill because at some point we decide to turn ugly on the inside. we continue to rot when we expect someone else to compensate for our misery, to assume responsibility for our lows. we are afraid and those who can't overcome that are doomed no matter what.
