🇺🇸Thanks so much for checking out our channel! My name is Jim and I was born and raised on a Peanut and Cotton farm in north Florida. I love music, Jesus and long walks on the beach.
That Deere sounded awesome 👍🇬🇧🇺🇸
good luck w/ planting...may the conditions be in your favor.....just north of where I was raised in Madison parish La. there is a state park where the Choctaw/Chickasaw tribes originated. Ruins as old as the pyramids. Before the government designated it as an historical site, local farmers who owned land near it, bulldozed some of the mounds. Now there are still a lot of artifacts/arrow heads/clay cooking balls etc. found as tillage work is done. The site is Poverty Point, near Epps La.
Jeff what you found was a scraper used to flesh out hides,by native americans
Great to see somebody else starting a farm channel only three hours away from us in Alabama!
Great video as always!!
You and your Dad are blessed to have such a great group of guys working for you. It’s tough to find good help nowadays. 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Great Content amazing how much prep comes before the seeds!!
You look and even sound like wheeler walker Jr.😂 Love the channel, I grew up in Illinois on a corn and bean farm and these videos are so nostalgic.
Hell yea my kind of entertainment im about ready for cotton 2023 to roll around great video guys!

16-18 inches in SC , pulling 12 row KMC hooked to planter with 9RT570

In Western New York we set for 14in deep and fertilizer placement is at 10 in.. r16 row strip tiller..
Way 2 go guys, looks like y’all got ‘er dialed in 👍🏻y’all keep crushin it and God Bless🇺🇸
I tell my wife I’m doing 10 inches but she argues I’m only doing about 5.
Good one!
A guys 6inchs is always way different than a woman’s 6inchs lol

Jeff is great too
@@FieldRows No doubt! Whole crew works really good together, keep up the good videos!
Enjoyed the video as always, keep up the good work and hoping you have a great growing season this year.
Great vids you guys
Depends on the field. 9” strip till on a majority of it. The feedlots I check for where they have cattle grazing on wheat/rye all winter normally get disc ripped deep. 30-36” deep.
Here in Eastern North Carolina usually anywhere from 12-18+ in. Lots of Unverferth and kmc. Few 12 rows with planters attached with lift assist too.
its a beast when you link a planter and strip together! Back when we were 6 row we have or planter strip linked together
What are the hours your club is working 🤭🤗😊. Your dance floor is not very large 🤪🤭🤪
Let's get Nuts Randy
We run our strip till about 8 inches deep. Seems to be enough for us for our cotton.
I heard that 84 change tunes and moan a little when he hit those hard spots .
yeah she didn't like it
What would we do without Keefe to set it?
😊
5:53 threw me off saying that word without the jam!
dude i let that one slip, i'll try to do better
@@FieldRows 😆
In Georgia depending on the ground we rip 12 to as much as 20 inches with our KMC rigs. I have never run depth bands on the colters. Put a straight pipe on that 8430 drop that lift to the bottom and let her eat...
Whats a depth band?
Favorite thing about stripping.."the money." That was funny.
Strip at 13 inches with a KMC rig similar to yours.
Set the plow bottoms to max and let her out lol
Hey I’m from grand ridge Florida and would love to thermal hunt some of your fields for pigs. I’ll do it for free. And I’ll respect your property.
I wonder what Jeff’s stage name would ?
When I strip till ahead of corn were only going about 4 inches. I Never disturb the plow layer.
It seems like any deeper than 4”would dry out the trench?
As deep as the tractor will pull it
I'd love to rip the ground 15-16".... but it would take a 700hp tractor to run that stripper that deep in mid Missouri. 😂
Kefe can run his own farm be a foreman Jack of all trades
👍👍
Hey Jim you ever wanna get rid of keefe I need some help LoL
Why not attach the planters to the frame and make one pass.
What speed do you run while strip tilling
I think 5.2 maybe 5.5
How dare somebody litter on Randy's farm!😢
I do it cause I’m just trying to pay my way through college
Good luck!
Nice stripping 😂 foo fighters is still going strong. Sad to see Taylor the drummer pass away.
I know Taylor was a great drummer
Hey what happened to the original title. 🤷♂️
Hahah the video was dead in the water so I changed it. Should I change it back?
@@FieldRows Dead in the water for you would probably be huge views for me. 🤣 It's your video call it whatever you like. 😁
