Love seeing all the kids seeing snow for the first time or the amount of snow anyway. I grew up in Michigan. The winter storm of 78 was crazy . Got so much had use wheel loaders to dig out the roads. Power was out for almost 3 weeks Couldn't get out to go to the store for over 2 weeks . Some of the best time of my childhood.
We got 9” here in Okaloosa county, of course no snow plows or salt trucks. Roads were iced over for days. I did get the chance to take my son out and teach him how to drive in the snow, back roads in the state forest of course… Florida man was out in force on the main roads
Jim, the videos that you produce are absolutely top notch. I said it a year or two ago that I believe there is just not a large enough fan base to watch farming type videos. Chief Keefe for life yo
WOW! That snow. It was fun watching the kids play. We're in southern New Mexico and understand the fun of the rare snow, but we've never had that much.
I grew up with the knowledge you plow to roll the grass and stuff under and bring the nutrients to the top soil rotation so long as your not rolling to deep always worked great for us
OPEN the heater core bypass valve. I imagine for big diesel tractors with cabs (especially in the South), there is a valve to the shutoff flow to the heater core.
Was hoping we would see some over here in East Florida but it stayed North of us. Was hoping my grandson could see his first snow. Last time I saw snow in Florida was Christmas of 89 when there was 2 inches and it didn't melt until after New Year's. Great video can't wait for the next one.
Your fields look like the one up here in Michigan! That snow glare is amazing! Blinding! Hope your local infrastructure is holding up to the cold and snow! Keefe mentioning that some of equipment doesn't have heat. Thanks for the video!
Whoooda thunk it?! Just south of the Alabama and Georgia lines ... that much snow!! Thanks for the drone shots!! I spent eight years in Tallahassee from 1968-1976, and it was ALWAYS five degrees colder than Taxemville! GREAT snow shots. We didn't flake one!
It's odd for us as well here in East central Georgia, be that as it is, we ended up with almost 7 inches. Oh by the way, Keefe my son spoke to you briefly down at Tifton last week. He says you're a pretty straight up feller (his words).
I’m about 50 to 60 miles north of y’all. We had anywhere from 7 to 10 inches of snow. I’ve been in SW Ga 58 years, never seen snow like that here before. It was pretty but I’m glad it’s gone.
Great to see your kids having fun with the snow ❄️😊. I heard that I-75 was shutdown with stuck traffic for a while. Bummer about the citrus crops though 😢.
We unfortunately missed every inch of snow, which sucks! Guess that's due to being in New Zealand and it being middle of Summer. I would work with you guy's in a heartbeat. Your attention to detail matches my lads and myself to a tee. Awesome! Still have fun and enjoy life. ❤
You live not far from my hometown. My parents live near Bainbridge and they got about as much snow as y’all did in Malone. I live in Jefferson, GA and we got like an inch or two. It was a sight to hear and see what happened. Girls had fun too that’s great to see.
i was rasied in fld in all the years i lived in the fld in 80's and through out the 90's it has never snowed there like ths i mean it snows worse then this were i live now but that is a eye opener for sure werid weather for sure
Crazy wheather, but quite the experience i quess, they call that white powder overhere poor mans fertilizer, stay warm and greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
Different soil types and crops and climate need different things. Where I live we have to no till. Same sandy soil type but high winter winds and low moisture blows ours away.
I don't know why people say your taking the organic matter out when all your doing is putting all of the weed seeds to the bottom so you don't have to use so much weed chemicals
What are the tubes on the back side of the mold boards? Used to apply Nematode chemicals? We used Nemagon back in the day (probably outlawed nowadays like Toxiphein), The warning sign on the drums had a test tube dripping chemical on deteriorating hand... But we never wore gloves or any PPE, smart huh?
Hello from Nebraska, so glad you got to experience the snow!! Especially for the kids!

Im glad you and your family got to experience snow. We were minus 32 below zero a week ago . Stay warm.
Attention to detail amazes me.
Respect from Nigeria.
I got 5 inches in Middle Georgia. That was the most snow we had since Feb 1973.
Jim, the videos that you produce are absolutely top notch.

Ok just had an idea, you have no animals involved in your channel, other than Beastie Keefe
People seem to love cat dog goat cow horse appearances.

Don't eat yellow snow!! 😂🤣
Good times, great memories made.

You are correct, that 8430 has automatic climate control which uses an electronic solenoid valve
It’s Nuts seeing Florida with Snow. 👍👍👊🏻🇬🇧🇺🇸
The plow sure did a beautiful job. Back in 1985 we had 15 inches of snow south of San Antonio Texas. You could hear a dog fart a mile away.
You got a little taste of Michigan, lol. It was fun to see your little ones enjoying the snow.
Welcome to our world. Ours last for 5 months usually 😂
That’s some good looking dirt. Laid out smooth . Beautiful
Was hoping we would see some over here in East Florida but it stayed North of us.

The ending is hilarious.

I bet your wife felt like she was back home in Kentucky with all that snow. Definitely one to remember for sure
Sweet, every year here, lol, cheers!😉

Kool
Snow is great in moderation. I'm in Iowa and we haven't had much more than a few inches. Never thought yal would beat us in snow accumulation.
I live in Quincy fl I am 43 my first time ever seeing snow like that in Florida.
You got more snow in one day than we've had all season here in SW MN. Bare ground right now with a shot of 50 this week.
Great video, Jim thank you😊
Another great video!!!! Thanks for the content!

Mee too!
Good video guys. Keep on keeping on with this stuff.
Yep, it got nuts in Florida!
Ya'll got more snow in a day then what we got in total this year in southern Wisconsin
i was reading the comments and look who i found, hope you all survived the cold snap on the dairy.
I'm here in the center of WI and I'm looking at grass barely any snow on the ground
Great to see your kids having fun with the snow ❄️😊. I heard that I-75 was shutdown with stuck traffic for a while. Bummer about the citrus crops though 😢.

Guess that's due to being in New Zealand and it being middle of Summer.
I would work with you guy's in a heartbeat.
Your attention to detail matches my lads and myself to a tee. Awesome!
Still have fun and enjoy life. ❤
My daughter was just talking about New Zealand the other day. She thought y’all spoke another language. Would love to visit one day
We got 8" in Jakin. Good job on the video.
Helps that snow came straight down... Really nice type of snow to enjoy. 95% of snow we get ends up in drifts

Years it snowed in n.c. Seem to be good crop years when I was growing up . Hope it holds true for u guys.
Glad to see u get snow . I hate it im in Michigan
Great video as always!!
Now you know how it is up here in New York but your still warmer and about 7 feet short on the snow 😂😂😂😂😂❤
Enjoyed the video buddy
Norther tractors can run fine in the snow, but I'm not sure about the southern tractors, 😅🤣😂😅
Ours went on strike 😂
That level trick would never work in NC , we don't have a level field to start with LoL.
Up there with all them terraces just drop it and go. Nobody will ever notice 😂

lol coming down that’s a flurry it was snowing so hard driving down the road I couldn’t see my windshield 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Keefe I'm 70 and I never
Seen the snow we got in cantonment.,fl. Bout 8 to 9 inches
Same. We got more in one evening than all the snow I have seen in 54 years
I was curious on what you were putting down in the past with the liquid plumbing(hoses) on the bottoms.
Keffe breaking ground has come a long ways from the 80' s we always had to take the outside dual off enjoyed the video
👍
We got 18 inches here in Missouri
Different soil types and crops and climate need different things. Where I live we have to no till. Same sandy soil type but high winter winds and low moisture blows ours away.
We deal with some of the same. That’s one reason we plant so many oats or rye grass
@keefe9325 I like what you guys do down in Florida. We are a lot alike here in western Nebraska. Just not the temperature
Just look at it can you see it it’s white and cold just look at it !
I don't know why people say your taking the organic matter out when all your doing is putting all of the weed seeds to the bottom so you don't have to use so much weed chemicals
Say it louder for the ones in the back😂
And no snow in Central Iowa....
New administration fixes global warming on day one😂
Everybody up north can have the snow and cold weather my bones don’t like it
Amen brother
Were in drought wre 40 to 60 below but 20 below
We got 10 then next day 3 more 😢
Wow
To make a snowman you start with a snowball and roll it across the ground so it picks up snow making a ball
Northern Iowa, still no snow…
Just look at all the nitrogen and that’s going in your ground right now just the first snowfall your kids ever seen. It looks like they’re having fun.
Which would you prefer, to have a snowstorm or two every winter or a hurricane or two every hurricane season?
I’ll take snowstorms any day over a hurricane. Not fun when you feel your house move on the foundation

We used Nemagon back in the day (probably outlawed nowadays like Toxiphein), The warning sign on the drums had a test tube dripping chemical on deteriorating hand... Yeah you can out Telone with it, we never had though. They were on it when we bought the plow
Yeah get rid of those pesky nutrients, Randy teach them how!
Need to have ed bass master to look at it
Would you just look at that
Have you ever gotten snow before this? What’s the largest amount you remember prior to this snow?
The last big snow was 89 and it wasn’t near this much. I was only 4 so I don’t remember it. I think around 2010 we had a dusting of snow
Did you guys even just look at it?
Oh we looked a lot! It was glorious
Look at all the nitrogen your farm got in that storm
Bro, driving in a circle isn't doing a donut lol Back wheels spinning front wheels not is how ya do a donut
