Great playing, very solid! I love the drum set-up! I'm not to sure about the cymbal choice though, because while they sound excellent, they're too dark, washy and sustained to mix well with the aggressive guitars, drums and synth sounds. I think the crashes lack the attack and bite needed and the hihat can't be heard properly when you wash the ride or crash, because they all sound so similar
It's funny you mention that, I've always wondered about his cymbal choices as well. I like dark cymbals, but not for rock and metal. He also plays some crazy big drums. 24" kick 13", 16" and 18" toms.. that's almost like making a statement.
I don't care for this type of "music" and the drums sound AWFUL. Everything is tuned up so tightly that there is no resonance happening. He's hitting the drums hard and there's zero tone, zero timbre, zero interest. Oh, well. I signed up for Vic Firth videos and luckily most of them are interesting and musical. This one is going to be deleted.
That Phosphor Bronze snare is an absolute monster... And so is Tim.
Finally, this man deserves this
Hope to see more of him on this channel
Wow 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
So Accurate !
The best!

thats typical for those cymbals
That's the trend these days. Big, dark, and thin.

I modeled my current Gretsch kit off of this setup, but I wasn't bold and went 22" 12" 14" and 16"
Snare drum?
Good original song and tight drumming...Gretch has such a warm sound...Song kind of sounds like Dream Theater...
Snare sounds like a cannon.
First time in 100 or so years that someone screams tastefully and good drummer too

oh shut up your damn mouth evid loser
NowI'mMe highly doubt it’s gonna be deleted lol. And what tones a drummer has is subjective to their ears. Real musicians know that.
I like the singer a bit!
Everyone plays differently, this is his gift.
