Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! So we extended our 1 year trip to now FOUR years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

OMG! this is the real paradise.. & only in the Philippines. You're the only vlogger that covers this unique experience. I heard about house boats in Kerala, India but I think this is much more exciting than in India because of limestone cliffs, clear blue water, & the friendliest services. All I can say is wowww!

My wife and I are snowbirds have two homes in the Philippines. A few years back we spent ten days touring Palawan and the many different islands. Very beautiful area. You both are very fortunate to travel extensively at such a young age.
This is THE MOST AMAZING travel experience I have seen in travel vlogs.
Also - The little niche space between the island at the end in the bloops, incredible.

Corona means crown in Spanish so I'm guessing that when the Spanish colonized the Philippines they named the Island for the spiked crown-like appearance of the limestone.

@@lashjamir9252 there are other beautiful islands in the Philippines. The country itself is pretty cheap. They did say in the video that they spent alot of money for the hotel.

Kara and Nate, I can't thank you enough for making this. My boyfriend and I were supposed to fly to Coron from Manila for our anniversary and stay exactly here (we got the Junior suite on the main houseboat for two nights!) the week the Manila lockdown happened. To say we were devastated is an understatement, this was our dream vacation and first anniversary together. Fortunately, Paolo gave us the option to keep our reservation for the future once all of this ends. Watching this made me sad seeing what we missed but so happy and optimistic at the same time -- I felt like I was there in spirit through your vlog, and it made me so excited for when we can finally travel again and stay there. Thank you so so much for making me hopeful in these tough times ❤️

Great job on the video and capturing this magical place! My husband and I stayed 4 nights on the Bamboo House Boat in March during a 2 month trip through India and Asia, and it is hands-down our favorite leg of any trip we've ever taken! The wind was definitely intense one night, which made for a bit of excitement, but it is so insanely gorgeous there, the people are incredibly friendly, and nothing compares to being right next door to the lakes and reefs! I loved seeing the bright purple and green giant clams and the water was so clear everywhere! Now I'm definitely jonesing to go back when we feel comfortable traveling again!
New place on our bucket list when all this craziness is over.
