What a beautiful way if that was your last stop. Nate ? you made the right decision it was a hidden Gem. Kara and Nate I found your videos at the beginning of quarantine and probably have watched 100 or more of them! They sure have been interesting, you guys do a great job showing us an area. Iraq/Jordan/ Israel have been my favorites. I spent a year in Finland so that was fun too.

I am one that has always been hesitant to international travel just purely out of fear of being in a different country, the language barrier, and just the fear of being manipulated. Yalls videos have helped so much with that and I have started a bucket list for places I want to travel to and explore internationally! Also, the idea of staying in places that are shared or guest houses on someone else’s property has become less scary since watching y’all also. Not only do y’all have awesome experiences in beautiful places but I always make sure to really listen and pay attention to yalls surroundings in the cities and airports and how y’all travel and I’ve noticed that there is usually always someone that speaks some sort of English, there’s google translator, and when you visit internationally being around people isn’t really a huge concern if you’re focused on exploring. I would looove to visit this island just because of yalls whole experience with the host and getting there and all of it. I hope that I’m just not seeing the bad parts or something but from yalls personal experience, I feel like only a handful of bad or scary things have happened in yalls story. Y’all definitely have a way of making one question their own ignorant thoughts without even trying. Because why not say yes to travel if you can? Even if you’re not living on the road.
I’ve watched 3 videos back to back and you’ve gained a new follower I love how much respect and how grateful you all are for everything, this is my dream 😭❤️

@TravelHackingTeachers we have 3 island groups in Ph. The northern part is Luzon and 1 of the best there is Palawan the place Kara and Nate visited. The middle island is Visayas best for Boracay island. The southern part is Mindanao where you can find Siargao island. As for food, a must try Filipino dishes are lechon best in Cebu, adobo, sisig, kare kare and sea foods also our halo-halo. Yes I really hate the way he did things. The role out by tweet was so annoying and unnecessary--especially without proper protocol and coordination with U.S officials. People were scrambling in a panic. Clogging up airports causing spread, chaos, and confusion. 🤢🤮
Well, there is not much opportunity in the Philippines. Wage are way too low, poverty and corruption is rampant, there is simply no future in this country. And that is the reason why you are in Canada.

I was in Tanzania when the United States placed a travel ban on Europe and our flight was in Switzerland. I sucks ik how it feels. Much love guys…this is definitely on my bucket list
Yes I really hate the way he did things. The role out by tweet was so annoying and unnecessary--especially without proper protocol and coordination with U.S officials. People were scrambling in a panic. Clogging up airports causing spread, chaos, and confusion. 🤢🤮
I LOVE HOW THEY JUST SMILED IN ENTIRE VIDEO☹ Love youu guysss❤❤💖
How could we not?!
You're blessed having a trusted Filipino aide with you.
Keep safe
The lovable cat in the video sells my wife on staying there.
Keith Wilkerson The Cat Meowed in English too!
Hahahahaaaa
Watching from Canada wondering what I’m doing here when my birthplace is literally paradise.
same here...
Well, there is not much opportunity in the Philippines. Wage are way too low, poverty and corruption is rampant, there is simply no future in this country. And that is the reason why you are in Canada.
Canada is great too lol,,ive gone there a few times and it's breathtaking.
I think people take for granted the wonders of where they live.
you probably you would never be able to afford going on these kind of holidays there if you didn't earn Canadian salary
only 3 minutes in and can I just say Kara's energy and charisma are so delightful to watch. just gained a subscriber. I can't wait to binge-watch the rest of the videos and I can't wait for upcoming videos. Thank you so much for sharing with us this beauty. and of course, thank you for the hard work you guys put into the editing and videos!!
This place is definitely paradise! Omgoodness...the little boy is so adorable. I could've just watched you play with him.
These vlogs from the Philippines are so chilled out I've been loving them!!
I felt relaxed just watching this, imagine being there... nice video.
The island dogs and kitties were so precious and the island was beautiful ❤️
LMAO when the shrimp vendor said: “Half a kilo? That is not even enough for me hahaha”
so true...
yaaaas girl we eat alot
Yall seem pretty cool. Like ya'lls commentary sounds natural. And yall aren't over the top, vain, or obnoxious. I just subscribed.
This is my country Home,,Thank you so much for featuring the beauty of the Philippines. Salamat☺️
I’ve been watching you guys since the very beginning four years ago, thanks for everything you do I feel safe when I watch your channel
Thanks for the love ❤
love Philippines, from Indonesia
Your country has waaaay better islands.
The food prices at that market! OMG
I'm starting to think retirement abroad might be a better idea than I had imagined.
yes it's true that's why foreigners love it here
@@immortalfirefly0641 The cost of living in my home country is cheaper than here in the USA. Other places are way cheaper than where they booked at.
It is
They kinda charge them too much
You can actually live here for just $500 a month, its cheaper compare to US
What a lovely couple. Good job showcasing incredible islands in the Philippines. Hope you both comeback after this lockdown.
Kara's so adorable with kids 😭
Wow, the aerial view of the Philippines shows how beautiful it is.
Just Some Guy without a Mustache yes so pretty!
Philippines has always been amazing for beaches besides thailand
Ur everywhere wtf
Expect to pay more if the island is already well developed and commercialized. You've got the right choice! Authentic place and people.
I like how Kara is so excited and also clueless and not trying to pretend she’s not! So realistic because I would be the same way. Nate said it’s a what you see is what you get 😂😂😂
Omg, Nate and that cat, too cute🤣
I wonder how would it be to be stuck for a month?
Your editing is amazing especially with the drone! It makes me feel like I'm actually there at the island... also i love how you guys see the best in everything it makes me appreciate my experiences of travel as well!
That lady was so nice!! (The island owner)
It would have been hard for me to leave the little baby boy. So adorable. Nice people. Love it!
the best part of that island is 100% the cat. I love cats
100%%%. We were renting a top roof apartment in a villa in France that came with a fluffy cat. (Owners of that chateau lived on the first floor so cat just wondered around) That was best discovery ever! :))))))))))))
Yes. At that moment, I was sold lol
Agreed
And the dogs
me in 2019: i wanna be a doctor
me in 2020: I wanna be kara and Nate
Same, really.. i want to try everyting sooo bad now!! :D
Nobody wants to be a doctor right now
If u know what I mean
same i just wanna travel and be paid to do it
Me too!! I have dreams of being a doctor but also want to travel the world...idk how I'll do it
Pinoys for the most part are lovely people. I can't wait to go back.
Thanks for bringing us this last wonderful vlog until the Pandemic is over. I hope we all make it out safely and continue to live adventurous lives again👌🏻
This is everyone’s dream of privacy at it’s best.
You can actually host a party on a private desert island with a company called Azzura if you really wanted to...

Glad you guys made it , nice video, everything so beautiful and the locals and the host really seemed warm and welcoming...👍
That's a gorgeous place! I've been to Palawan 3 years ago, however I stayed only in Coron and El Nido. Lovely people there different from Cebu and Manila
💓💓💓💓
What an insane find! Makes me so excited to get back to traveling once this all settles down!
been living in the philippines for 25 years and i haven't experience this yet. So cool.
You guys are such a ray of sunshine and inspiration. Thanks for the contagious smiles during these crazy times
I heard the crunch and it sounded so good. Homemade Philippino fried fish. I know what kind of restaurant I'm going to once this is all over.
That feeling that most Filipinos never heard of this place, tbh great videos and my bucket list is just piling up!
I went through a pretty rough depression recently and these videos sort of helped me through in a strange way. They also inspired me to start my own channel called *TINY EPICS!* So thanks for doing what you do Kara and Nate. Looking forward to more! Here’s the trailer for my upcoming adventure video!
