This was delicious! One recommendation if you are using fresh shrimp (I use fresh prawn) is to let them soak in some salt water over night. It allows the salt to sink into the shrimp and gives them a much better flavor! You will end up with extra liquid in the pan when cooking. You can reserve this liquid to then add into the sauce in place of the pasta water. So flavorful!

Just made this, I’m lactose intolerant so I used dairy free half and half (for more of that creamy taste and consistency) and to watch my calory intake. It was still really good. I used a full cup. I think next time I’ll use 1/2 cup and if needed I’ll add 1/4 cup. Since DF items have more water.
