Trust me, Euclid will not disappoint. It might actually be my favorite song on Take Me Back To Eden. It's probably the only album I've ever listened to that is entirely flawless.

Vore is the biggest flaw on the album in my opinion, only because it's so vastly harsher and disjointed feeling compared to the rest. Whether Vore is there or not, the albums story/message do not change. So to me, Vore is a flaw on the album. (this is not to say I don't enjoy Vore, I just think it interrupts the albums vibe)

I put Take Me Back To Eden up there with Dark Side Of The Moon in terms of perfect releases.
This song also just hits hard because of the lyrics dealing with memory and the album title "Sundowning" refers to a phenomena that affects some people where the symptoms of Alzheimer's and dementia worsen at dusk and through the night.
pseudodementia from depression mimics those diaeases in a lot patients.
Really happy you guys got to do this before finishing out with Euclid. I think you’ll be happy with the payoff! I absolutely cannot wait for the reaction

From what I understand and have heard, Take Me Back To Eden is the end of a "trilogy" almost of albums, and the connection becomes very clear when you listen to Euclid, it's like a nice little wrap up of the whole thing.
Yes it is! And the song “the night does not belong to god” was the very first song on the very first album of the trilogy!
As long as they go back and hit all of Sundowning then This place will become your tomb that's all that matters because, The night doesn't belong to god is technically not the beginning of the story Offering is so as long as they make sure to hit the rest of Sundowning

Sleep Token, for me does not have one skip song. Like Eric said sometimes I am in different moods but I listen to them all. And that hold for their entire discography and I don’t think I have ever felt that way. Sleep Token are special. Euclid is a beautiful song to end the trilogy!

Vessel displays a vocal mastery in the way he splits syllables and stretches notes and words we don’t ‘expect’ to hear that I think is unique to his style. It’s dramatic but hypnotic. Just amazing. #Worship

I first fell in love with sleep token on the tmbte record but now find myself constantly going back to sundowning and this place will be your tomb. They are all so good but for some reason their first two keep pulling me. It’s very very strange. Tmbte is so powerful but the other ones are more mysteriousperhaps

For starters that ending has me rolling!!! Secondly - Euclid is amazing. The entire TMBTE album is absolute perfection! It doesn't matter what mood I'm in if one of those songs hits my shuffle I can't skip it. They're all 10/10 for me.

Actually got pretty emotional when this song started on the last stop of their Teeth of God Tour in North America. What a moment I'll never forget.

the context and mental space listening to this song provides before Euclid is so beautiful. I think the Take Me Back To Eden album is a complete whole, but this is such a wonderful prequel that not enough people consider. I'm glad Rykerroad gave it the chance it deserved before hearing Euclid. Euclid is my favorite track off the whole album, it's great to see it so well respected.
also a lot of their songs from the earlier albums have a very similar vibe where they start out calm and slow and then build up for a huge ending. always loved that about them.
The Minute you get to listen to the whole thing.. it will be a magical moment guys. dont rush though enjoy it. it will be one of those moments in your life.

Also the their second EP "Two" the 3 songs are named after biblical cities. Nazareth, Calcutta, Jericho. So the album "Take me back to eden" is the longing to go back to the beginning to a time before he knew this struggle and heartbreak that we see in sundowning and tomb. He wants to go back to a place of innocence and ignorance to this pain.
The Night Does Not Belong to God was the FIRST Sleep Token song I ever heard, and I've always maintained that it was a perfect entry point for me for this band. To hear that song as Sundowning was about to start launching one single every two weeks until the whole album was out was an experience with an album that I've not yet had again. I can't wait to watch your reaction to Euclid now. It will all make sense I promise.

As far as other genres/sounds within Sleep Token, The Sundowning and TPWBYT are full of twists and turns, as well as MANY lyrical callbacks and connections. Excited for you to explore their older stuff. And please don't leave out Jaws or their EP's One and Two!!

I was lucky to stumble on these guys early and Sundowning is in my personal top 5 favorite albums ever. The Offering, Dark Signs, Higher, and Gods are all songs you'll love that are much closer to the pocket they perfected in TMBTE. Personal favorite song off the album is Levitate
The Offering was the first song i heard from them years ago, that song and Jaws take me back to a special time in my life every time i hear them.

The Night Does Not Belong To God i believe is about Sundowners syndrome which is a form of dementia that presents itself at night. When you listen to the lyrics it makes total sense. This album is called Sundowning too...
Sundowning the album this song is on has never left my playlist. It came out in November of 2019.

The last song on TMBTE (Euclid) and the first song on Sundowning (The Night Does Not Belong to God) blend seamlessly together. This band and trilogy is utter beautiful brilliance. As a nurse who cares for people ages usually 60-100, this song hits me so emotionally and personally. I watch people almost every day deal with the condition of sundowning and it's heartbreaking to watch. This song makes me cry every time I hear it.

TMBTE is definitely extra hype because they knew this was the culmination of a story but I think Sundowning and This Place Will Become Your Tomb are amazing as well. It’s like acts in a play or movie. The early and middle have a lot of exposition and world building that may not be as flashy and exciting as the big climax and ending, but they give so much more weight and context to the end
