Trust me, Euclid will not disappoint. It might actually be my favorite song on Take Me Back To Eden. It's probably the only album I've ever listened to that is entirely flawless.
Vore is the biggest flaw on the album in my opinion, only because it's so vastly harsher and disjointed feeling compared to the rest. Whether Vore is there or not, the albums story/message do not change. So to me, Vore is a flaw on the album. (this is not to say I don't enjoy Vore, I just think it interrupts the albums vibe)
I just went to the Teeth of God tour back in May 2024 and they opened their set with the Night Does Not Belong to God and ended with Euclid. It was so so so so perfect.
This song also just hits hard because of the lyrics dealing with memory and the album title "Sundowning" refers to a phenomena that affects some people where the symptoms of Alzheimer's and dementia worsen at dusk and through the night.
From what I understand and have heard, Take Me Back To Eden is the end of a "trilogy" almost of albums, and the connection becomes very clear when you listen to Euclid, it's like a nice little wrap up of the whole thing.
As long as they go back and hit all of Sundowning then This place will become your tomb that's all that matters because, The night doesn't belong to god is technically not the beginning of the story Offering is so as long as they make sure to hit the rest of Sundowning WORSHIP
Really happy you guys got to do this before finishing out with Euclid. I think you’ll be happy with the payoff! I absolutely cannot wait for the reaction
Sleep Token, for me does not have one skip song. Like Eric said sometimes I am in different moods but I listen to them all. And that hold for their entire discography and I don’t think I have ever felt that way. Sleep Token are special. Euclid is a beautiful song to end the trilogy! Thank you both for enjoying them and reacting!
Vessel displays a vocal mastery in the way he splits syllables and stretches notes and words we don’t ‘expect’ to hear that I think is unique to his style. It’s dramatic but hypnotic. Just amazing. #Worship
Euclid will impact you much more after listening to this song first. To me Euclid is the perfect ending to TMBTE and the trilogy, and I’m extremely excited to see you guys dive into Sundowning their first album. PLEASE DO IT IN ORDER!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻 #WORSHIP
I first fell in love with sleep token on the tmbte record but now find myself constantly going back to sundowning and this place will be your tomb. They are all so good but for some reason their first two keep pulling me. It’s very very strange. Tmbte is so powerful but the other ones are more mysteriousperhaps
Euclid is basically the best vibes of any song ever. And the lyrics in connection with their history is the most 200IQ big brain takes ever lmao And since you know about their past, you're gonna recognize it
there’s also going to be a lot of lyrical and musical callbacks throughout their whole discography. i’m glad you guys are going to start picking it apart and seeing the references.
The first time i heard this was live and so very drunk at the download pilot, post covid festival. It was transcendant, i lack the words to describe the experience.
Technically The Offering is the true beginning of the story TNDNBTG is technically the thing that restarts the cycle connecting the the trilogy Worship
Sundowning will always hold a special place as my favorite Sleep Token album ❤️ I've rarely listened to an album as consistently since its release back in November 2019.
Eric, i TOTALLY know what you are saying at 4:30. Vessel carries out the note before he enunciates, when typically in music its done the other way around. And GOD DAMN its a beautiful thing!
So I found you guys fairly recently when I saw you guys did Take me Back to Eden as like a first reaction. And hearing how you both were so sure in your opinion of "eh, they're not my jam." To how you both feel now is amazing. I've love Sleep Token for so long now and it's so lovely to see people giving them the credit and adoration for their music that I think they wholeheartedly deserve. You are both so wholesome and I love watching you guys react to this album and I'm glad you are even enjoying their older stuff. Euclid might bring you guys to tears, it did me. So buckle up for that one lol
I love Sleep Token for sure! everytime you guys have a ST video, I click it right away! glad you are getting into the older stuff! Keep'em coming fellas.
This is becoming one of my favorite songs ever, that opening sound just gives me this sense of warmth and daylight, it’s kinda hard to explain. This song is just gorgeous
The Night Does Not Belong To God i believe is about Sundowners syndrome which is a form of dementia that presents itself at night. When you listen to the lyrics it makes total sense. This album is called Sundowning too...
For starters that ending has me rolling!!! Secondly - Euclid is amazing. The entire TMBTE album is absolute perfection! It doesn't matter what mood I'm in if one of those songs hits my shuffle I can't skip it. They're all 10/10 for me.
The Minute you get to listen to the whole thing.. it will be a magical moment guys. dont rush though enjoy it. it will be one of those moments in your life.
Yes!! You’re ready for Euclid. Can’t wait to see you guys do reactions to their older stuff like Jaws, Offering, Bloodsport, Higher, Sugar, and others like Telomeres, High Water, and Love You Want. Honestly the whole discography 😂
the context and mental space listening to this song provides before Euclid is so beautiful. I think the Take Me Back To Eden album is a complete whole, but this is such a wonderful prequel that not enough people consider. I'm glad Rykerroad gave it the chance it deserved before hearing Euclid. Euclid is my favorite track off the whole album, it's great to see it so well respected.
The Night Does Not Belong to God was the FIRST Sleep Token song I ever heard, and I've always maintained that it was a perfect entry point for me for this band. To hear that song as Sundowning was about to start launching one single every two weeks until the whole album was out was an experience with an album that I've not yet had again. I can't wait to watch your reaction to Euclid now. It will all make sense I promise.
This band makes everyone enamored... Their earlier work is really good... The EPs ONE and TWO are great. Specifically the song Nazareth... Excited to see more sleep token reactions!! 🤘😊👌
So glad you reacted to this first! Euclid has now been released for nearly 3.5 months and I STILL sob every single time I listen to it. As far as other genres/sounds within Sleep Token, The Sundowning and TPWBYT are full of twists and turns, as well as MANY lyrical callbacks and connections. Excited for you to explore their older stuff. And please don't leave out Jaws or their EP's One and Two!!
Please tell me we get Euclid right after this one (tomorrow), I can't wait to see your faces light up when you realize how this ties together. There are so many call backs in this album, this is gonna be a ride when you get into more!
This has been my favorite Sleep Token song for a couple of years now, and i frequently play this into Euclid. Glad you checked out this before Euclid as it will for sure enhance that experience.
also a lot of their songs from the earlier albums have a very similar vibe where they start out calm and slow and then build up for a huge ending. always loved that about them.
I can relate to you Kyle and think your response mirrors my own when listening. Like trying to contemplate how beautiful this is whilst constantly being on the verge of tears! 😂
I'm very happy you covered this song... As a nurse who cares for people ages usually 60-100, this song hits me so emotionally and personally. I watch people almost every day deal with the condition of sundowning and it's heartbreaking to watch. This song makes me cry every time I hear it.
Ugh, this song gives me chills every time! Euclid also references When the Bough Breaks from their first EP, which is one of my all-time favs too 🥹 I swear, there are no skips for me when it comes to Sleep Token
I was lucky to stumble on these guys early and Sundowning is in my personal top 5 favorite albums ever. The Offering, Dark Signs, Higher, and Gods are all songs you'll love that are much closer to the pocket they perfected in TMBTE. Personal favorite song off the album is Levitate
The last song on TMBTE (Euclid) and the first song on Sundowning (The Night Does Not Belong to God) blend seamlessly together. This band and trilogy is utter beautiful brilliance. How more people don't know about Sleep Token's incredible music blows my mind. They're in the USA just starting their tour too. Great reaction as always, my fine fellas. ❤️🖤
Also the their second EP "Two" the 3 songs are named after biblical cities. Nazareth, Calcutta, Jericho. So the album "Take me back to eden" is the longing to go back to the beginning to a time before he knew this struggle and heartbreak that we see in sundowning and tomb. He wants to go back to a place of innocence and ignorance to this pain.
I thought I'd already watched all your Sleep Token reactions, so imagine how happy I was tonight when I found this one! Thank you, guys. They're fab aren't they?
OMG! I've never clicked on a video sooo fast! So happy to see you guys read my comment and agreed to do this first! It will all make sense after you do Euclid!!
Going all the way back to one and two then jaws, and just following through gives you a whole story it seems like, and I loved the entire ups and downs throughout the small journey ❤
I AM SO FUCKING ECSTATIC THAT YOU LISTENED TO THIS BEFORE YOU DID EUCLID. Not many reaction humans do that and the fact that you guys did has me so excited for the next ST video!!!
From this (first song of the first album of the trilogy), to Euclid (final song of final album of trilogy), you will most definitely feel something when it hits. In my mind, the fitting end to something special.
I'm one of the people who first got into Sleep Token when The Summoning came out and I WISH I would've heard them years ago, I've become absolutely enamored with their music. During the wait for the TMBTE drop, I listened to their older stuff as I became more familiar with them and TNDNBTG became one of my favorite songs...ever. Not my favorite Sleep Token song (that goes to Euclid funnily enough), but one of my favorite songs just in general. It's ethereal and mysterious and draws you in with that sort of cycling background sound, hits you hard with the middle, and fades out in a beautiful repetition. It's such an experience and I cannot wait for you guys to listen to Euclid and catch all of the little references. It's the perfect ending to the trilogy and calls back to the first song of their first full album, making it come full circle. I adore it.
I LOVE that yall are listening to this before Euclid. I too listened to TMBTE before the other two albums and didn't get the full impact but I dedicated time to go back and listen and then listening to TMBTE again I was crying to much and absolutely appreciated Euclid more.
There's something about this song that I noticed only recently. When vessel says "come" during the chorus. You can also hear it on your right ear, it's literally a whisper.
What can one say about ST, the list is too long& it’s all positive. They are so gifted& talented& yet they goof around onstage like schoolboys dressed up for a Halloween party.Wee sweethearts. Absolute WORSHIP ❤
holy shit i never listened to this song in private so i didn't pay attention to the lyrics in combination with the lore but when he sang "so please give me the night" made me first gasp, and then cry.... holy crap
After you hit Euclid and go back, you’re gonna love them all, but off the top, Missing Limbs, Jaws, Atlantic, Levitate. Thanks guys for keeping up while you go through this.
I think it’s awesome you guys decided to check this one out before Euclid and i’m very excited to see the connections you’ll make between the two! going through the trilogy from the start will definitely help you guys make sense of TMBTE. also it’s the text on the thumbnail for me 😂
TMBTE is definitely extra hype because they knew this was the culmination of a story but I think Sundowning and This Place Will Become Your Tomb are amazing as well. It’s like acts in a play or movie. I wish I would've listened to this before Euclid, your experience just got enhanced 10 fold by getting to this song before Euclid. It's perfect and I can't wait for the reaction.
There is a lovely fan-made mashup of this song and Euclid (with a little bit of Jaws) called "The Night Belongs to You" that is really good, I've listened to it dozens of times now
I don't skip any of their songs. I'm just catching up on all these ST reaction vids and it's been fantastic thank you. They are such an amazing band 💗✌️🎶
To this day the love you want IS STILL my favorite track by sleep token even though TMBTE is my favorite album. You guys HAVE to watch the video and listen to the love you want ❤️
I think you guys are going to be absolutely floored by Euclid when you hear it. The callbacks to prior songs including the Night Does Not Belong to God are really well done

I know, don't miss this one the track is a damn beauty
It’s definitely my fav on the album
I put Take Me Back To Eden up there with Dark Side Of The Moon in terms of perfect releases.
I just went to the Teeth of God tour back in May 2024 and they opened their set with the Night Does Not Belong to God and ended with Euclid. It was so so so so perfect.
SAME. I cried at Euclid. That show fed my soul in ways I didn't know I needed.
I literally cried at the Tampa ritual with that beginning and ending. Just so cathartic.
His super low bow after he finished was just so friggin humble.
This song also just hits hard because of the lyrics dealing with memory and the album title "Sundowning" refers to a phenomena that affects some people where the symptoms of Alzheimer's and dementia worsen at dusk and through the night.

I have heard people skipping DYWTYLM and Fall for Me.
Which is a shame cuz they're both amazing. I'm excited for them to react to This Place
