"Chucky is petty"...
Truer words have never been spoken.
Brad dourif is a criminally underrated actor
When Andy started talking about Chucky been sent by daddy from heaven it would have been time for chucky to go for a ride down by the lake lol
“Them rats didn’t hurt nobody, why they gotta die”. True animal lover
“Chucky walk like he’s 6’5.” Shit had me dying.
Byrsal😊
If I know I put the doll in another room and find him in front of the tv like he grown, I'm setting the doll on fire 😂 😂😂😂😂😂
Andy hears gunshots and his first thought is Chucky. 😂
Andy pulling those one liners like a boss.
"This IS the end, friend".
That first death always bothered me. Most horror movie deaths dont faze me in the slightest but her I actually liked and she was such a good friend. She really didn't deserve that 😔
"Andy gonna have to go get an 8-ball of coke and a fifth."
LMAO. That's my favorite observation about the state of Andy's mental health after these events that I've ever heard 🤣🤣
Am I the only one who randomly thru the day now says “ thanks for playing !” 😂😂😂
Chucky revealing himself the mom for the first makes me laugh every time.
"You forgot the part where he whooped your ass!" 😆😆😆
Brad Dourif’s voice work in this movie is iconic
Brad Dourif was actually one of the actors along with some others that was considered to play the Joker character from the 1989 Batman movie, until the role ultimately went to Jack Nicholson. I've always thought that Brad Dourif was an extremely underrated actor in Hollywood that deserved bigger acting roles in his film career than what he received.
🤩🤩 The boy who played Andy was phenomenal! One of the best performances by a child in a movie!
Thank you for your perfect reaction ...
Brad Dourif completely carries this entire franchise.
His daughter does a pretty good impersonation ;)
100%
This movie is why my father, immediately after credits were rolling (while watching it with my mother) all those years ago, tossed my My Buddy Doll into the attic while I was at school one day. Never saw My Buddy again after that.
The cop in this movie was the voice of Jack Skellington XD ''How dare you treat that boy so SHAMEFULLY!''
Btw, fun thing to point out, the longer the doll is alive the more human he looks. When we first see the doll it looks like a typical toy. Shiny plastic face, sweet sparkly blue eyes, swab of hair etc. But when possessed, his face becomes bland and fleshy and human like, his eyes turn a translucent blue and he develops a hair line!
Man, now I'm just imagining Optimus Prime asking you to let him watch the news in his voice and its amazing.
I was almost 5 when child’s play 2 came out. The promotional poster for it freaked me out so much that when I got a My Buddy doll for Christmas I was instantly horrified. I never touched it, and the minute I opened the gift I ran to the other side of the room.
Brad Dourif is hilarious as Chucky!
And be sure not to miss Fright Night, also from director Tom Holland and with Chris Sarandon.
Absolutely 💯 👍🏿
Facts fright Night is amazing
@Cedwrecks It's the only vampire movie in the 80s that can compete with The Lost Boys for best vampire movie of that era.💯
@@nyronfranklin5789fright night > lost boys
I worked with a guy that had a My Buddy doll as a kid.....until he saw this movie. After this movie, he begged his parents to get rid of it. They did...or so he thought. Some time later he was playing with a ball in the house, it rolled into his parents room and under their bed. He went to get the ball and when he lifted the bedding to look under the bed, that My Buddy doll was there....looking at him. He lost his shit, started screaming that the doll was back to kill him.
YOU: "Don't little kids have plastic hammers?"
Remember, this was the 1980s, when they were still making toys that you could hurt people with. You mentioned Megatron. He turned in to a very realistic replica of a Walther P-38, and this was before those orange caps on fake guns.
This is barely one generation removed from actual lawn darts.
Hell I still remember the fake plastic silver six-shooters with the white handles they'd sell that were made to look like cowboy guns. Not bad looking, really. Not sure if they were patterned after a real style, but I knew someone who always played with them.
Your poor dog jumping after you screamed - that scene where the detective patted the 'dead, burned' doll's head........that moment is pure GOLD. Your dog's a star 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Need a "Shudd up" counter for these 🤣 🤣 love the content boss
"Andy's about to go get an 8 ball and a fifth." hahahaha
Every time there is a pause and you look at the camera and say "Listen" I already know I'm gonna laugh. You damn near killed me when you were trippin' off of the announcer's mustache in Rocky.
Fun fact: the Aunt played in Grease, she played as Marty in the Pink Ladies. Another phenomenal movie
Stop with the fun fact shit... nothing about your comment is fun...
You just blew my mind
@@zufgh i just discovered that myself a year ago and I'd seen both movies a hundred times and Marty is my favorite pink lady
That perm is not doing her any favors in this movie lol I loved her as Marty
It always bugged me, where do I know her from? Thanks for the assist.
"The rats didn't hurt anybody why do they have to die?" LOL I was laughing hard at that one. Your comments are hilarious
I totally forgot that Grima Wormtongue is the bad guy!🤔😊💚
Child's play 2 next! Notice how Chucky looked more realistic as this movie continued
Brad Dourif is a fantastic actor with some great performances under his belt, his long stint as Chucky, the Gemini Killer in Exorcist 3, Billy in One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Wormtongue in the Lord of the Rings just to name a few
i always liked him as the bad guy in Fatal Beauty, lol when i closed my eyes i heard Chucky in that movie
@@user-wr9ej6xe4j Funny fact about that he actually kept his accent the whole time until he finished shooting his last scene as Wormtongue and then switched to his normal speaking voice and some of the cast and crew were surprised that he wasn’t British
Lmao at the guy who made a voodoo doll of HIMSELF! And told Chucky where he hides it!
Lmaooooo
Had to come back to rewatch. I was throughly entertained. By the way he cut mike break lines. That’s why he couldn’t stop the car.
'Andy gonna have to get an 8 ball of coke, and a fifth' 😂😂😂
Best comment ever. Along with "Andy needs to go to a Different kind of hospital, hes gonna need to lay on one of them couches"
"Hes gonna need ALL the therapy"
LOL , I love his comments
Every time I hear “My Buddy” I never think of the doll, just the G-Unit song 😂😂 hope you continue the franchise!
You going back to horror after being traumatized all Halloween lol. "SHUT UP"
Love your videos man.
You're going to love all of these movies, but Bride of Chucky is such a great combination of horror and humor, I think that you'll enjoy it the most 😉
lmao that phone reaction, what made it funnier, "I know your laughing, shut up, shut up. HAHA
I knew I was gonna be crackin up at JL . shootin Chucky on the floor "she didn't give a f"#k about her neighbors below her did she?"😂😆😂😂🤣
this channel deserves millions of subs, YOU deserve
My gf doesn't like reaction videos, but you had us both cackling on this one! Omg our sides hurt!
I'm predicting at least 5 Shut ups!! 😂
Yeah i dont see any he aint shits in this but deff shut ups 😆 and maybe I'll live in the moment
13
That seems low but now I must count. One shot for each shut up, who's in?
More like 69
Those are rookie numbers. Gotta pump those numbers up!
Can't wait for J to cheer and call little Andy a G when he does the classic "This IS the end friend"
He was hyped. LoL
"Thanks for playin'"😂Haven't watched Child's Play in years...thanks for the great reaction!💚
This is one of your funniest ones in a while. Expert work.
When I watched this movie as a very young kid, I was terrified.
Today, watching this, I wish I had a friend like Chucky growing up. 😁
I loved this movie as a kid even though it scared me, I wanted a talking
Doll like Chucky so bad, my parents got me a doll called Corky, he's
A dead ringer for a Good guy, and he talks just the same, I still have
Him and he still works, he really freaks my sister out,lol
Classic. Now on to Child's Play 2, solid sequel.
Oh I love that you're watching the original and not the reboot.
I miss the days of OG Chucky; the murderous soul trapped in a doll by voodoo.
And I never noticed before that the original Chucky was played by a guy who was also on Star Trek Voyager.
It feels like you farting but you not farting
~A quote from EOM
Lol Jay dropped a " my stomach bubblin" shout out to Christian Johnson
Lol my cousin owned a My Buddy doll when this movie came out and she snucked out to watch it. Now she's terrified of dolls 😂
Classic stuff! Glad you liked it. You should def continue the franchise, they get progressively more comical though. Happy to see Chucky make the "aint shit" list.
Hey Jay! Y'all should do an "It's key to the plot" shirt
Chucky is played by the same actor who is Grima Wormtoung in Lord of the Rings.
The guy who played the human form of Chucky was also Gríma Wormtongue in LOTR.
If Chucky isn't THE pettiest, he's right up there!
I don't remember #2 or 3, but I'm really looking forward to _Bride of Chucky,_ that one's a hoot 😃 Wasn't interested in the ones after that though.
Y'know I was thinking, it's it funny how people generally recommend these originals, but not the more recent remakes.
I definitely recommend continuing the series, the second one is my favorite but most of the movies have something fun about them. Great reaction
“Chucky walk like he 6’5”💀
Aw, he runs like a roach! PERFECT! Great reaction, night night! 😁 👊
This movie scared the heck out of me still does. But your reaction definitely helped I’d love to watch a movie with you. You’re a good dude. :)
My cousin had a my buddy doll. I hated that doll. Chucky used to scare me when I was kid but now I love those movies. Your reaction was so great to this movie.
Man Chucky was my worst childhood fear I would frequently have nightmares of him chasing me around a bonfire with a knife and into my house while people can stood around and laughed while I ran in slow motion and could not scream
I used to have nightmares about Chucky as well. I specifically remember one from when I was @7, he had shrunken down to about 4/5 inches, he took a bite out of my finger in my dark room.
@@CaramelPrincess1990 Yeah one day I was at a gift shop with my parent And I asked for a dream capture. Surprisingly it actually helped Probably because it's just a mental thing . Anytime I would see like dust or something caught in it I would think that those were my bad dreams that were caught
Andy was an absolute king in this movie! He's what, 6 maybe? And he was out on patrol with Chucky. This Andie....not so much 🤣🤣
Great react video as always. I admit I cracked up laughing at the image of a younger you reacting to Saturday morning cartoon at 6:30am. 😂😂
classic that never gets old. always scared me as a kid in the early 90s.
Never forget Brad Dourif is an accomplished and Oscar nominated actor.
Watch Wise Blood and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest ASAP.
Thanks for getting around to this movie. I can’t wait to see where Chucky falls on J’s ain’t shit list.
One of the most fun things about a new video from you is guessing what's gonna cover your mouth when you swear.
Never had any trauma from these movies. Dolls don't kill people IRL.... though I grew up with no creepy dolls or toys so that helped :)
I see a lot of jump scared I be laughing.
The sound effects of the meow with the advertisements 😂😂😂
YUSS ☺️ Chucky is my absolute favorite so excited you are watching this I really hope you watch childs play 2 as well it's the best in my opinion 💕
Def gonna get thru the whole series. The classic slashers are def series I want him to do all of, good and bad. It’ll be a blast. LoL
@@EOMReacts yes it would be a blast can't wait
I will look forward to your Chil'd Play reactions. The later ones especially are a hoot.
Child's Play 2 is the best one in the franchise IMO... I really hope you react to that one!!
My whole life I never had any kind of problems watching scary movies but as a kid this one got me having nightmares for years.
Everyone like, comment and subscribe! This man needs all the money he can get for doctor's bills from having a heart attack every time a phone rings! 🤣
"Chucky about to be on yo ass like student loan debt"
I swear this guy is quickly becoming a new favorite reactor.
Part 2 this Saturday. LoL
prediction. if he recognizes Charles Lee Ray’s actor, he’ll call him wormtail.
This is a fun, scary movie, there will be a lot of jump scares for you. Just remember "we friends to the end", 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I was so scared of my buddy after I saw this movie. I was only five, and my parents were bad at saying no. Anyway, I through mine down the basement steps. My mom didn't realize how scared I was. She put him back in my room. I lost my stuff when I saw him in there. The family got a good laugh out of it.
XD Same. My brother was awful about putting scary movies on when he'd babysit me and of course he put Child's Play on and I became horrified of my My Buddy Doll that he'd passed down to me. I told mom I didn't want it or the other dolls the same size in my room anymore and my mom just put them out in the hallway where I still had to walk by them all the time and feel like they were gonna snatch me as I passed 😰 Thankfully after rewatching the series as an adult, I now find it hilarious, but I had so many nightmares about that dang doll when I was growing up. 🤣
This movie almost single handedly killed off the my buddy dolls 🤣
Haha I had 2 My Buddy Dolls I also put them down the basement and locked the door haha. I read Child's Play movies hurt the sales of the My Buddy dolls haha I can't imagine why😂
@amybowens1503 My mother collects porcelain dolls and after watching this movie as a kid I was absolutely terrified. She even played a joke on me and left one in my bed tucked in. I returned from work and opened my door to that, I immediately stabbed that fucker, threw it in another room and locked the door. Fuck all that. She got a good laugh and I still hate them to this day !!
@@chadjenkins4876 Ok, so I just found out I still have a buddy doll due to these comments LMAO. I come from a Spanish speaking family and a doll I have has always been called Budín (pudding) by my family, but I thought it was just a nickname they gave him when I was a baby. So I'm scrolling through the comments and I come across y'all speaking about some My Buddy dolls, I look the name up and turns out it's the one I still have from when I was little and my Hispanic family has been trying to say Buddy for about 24 years and not Budín (pudding) 💀.
Out of all the horror franchises, Childs play is the MOST consistent with its characters and story. The remake is an exception but Childs Play + the "..Of Chucky" movies and the TV show are all continuously cannon and pretty good
I'm glad someone remembers My Buddy dolls.
24:30 I appreciate you recognizing his methods. most people just go “I don’t understand what’s so scary about a doll”.
That hoodoo backstory is frightening as heck. Great job. Child’s Play 2 is the bomb. Can’t wait. ❤
The remake's different but through most of the series this was how Chucky worked surprise kills from something no one ever suspects could be a threat and no one else will believe was responsible if they survive. Usually using stealth to hit them in a way that negates the strength advantage.
One time a friend of mine stood up a Chucky doll in front of bedroom door so it would scare me when i woke up..... It did....... But in my fear spasm I ended up kicking his head clean off so I feel like i won the day 😝
Lol that is indeed a victory
@@J_EOMReacts if I remember correctly, my exclamation of triumph was:
".......G-UNIT BITCH!" 😆
@@LordPorkChop84 🤣🤣🤣🤣
i remember when this came out i really wanted to see it but since i was 8 that didnt happen...a few months later it premired on HBO and we luckily had cable at the time and i had my dad wake me up at 2 in the morning so i could watch it....i had to catch the replay late at night because the 7pm showing my mom was still awake and no way would have let me watch it. He got me up, i went into the living room, watched it by myself and then went back to bed...it was a school night afterall. Think i was in 3rd grade at the time.
Omg 👍🏽👍🏽 for the My Buddy reference! Those dolls were so creepy 😂
The Murder Whistle strikes again. Always a pleasure to catch the premiere with you, Blank and the EOM family. Ladies and Gentlemen, if you are new here, you are about to witness the greatness of EOM.
Awesome reaction, loved it! 😂
I absolutely adore this franchise and this specific movie is my favourite of the bunch I watched it in the cinema a couple of weeks ago and what a experience even tho I seen it a million times before that watching it in the cinema is just something else this and jaws are my favourite cinema experiences so far on my 20 years of being on this planet I saw them a week apart from each other
I totally had that haircut EOM! Lol they called it a Dorothy Hamill cut but that thing was definitely a bowl cut. Man that made me laugh when you said 90% of your class photos in the ‘80s had most kids with that cut. It’s so true!
Man, patreons need to vote to let you continue Lethal Weapon
Lethal Weapon 2 is scheduled regardless. I’d say it’ll join the continue a franchise stuff after that. If 2 does well, we’ll just do them all either way.
My parents got me a Buddy Doll when I was a child. Lol. They didn't see the movie, but I did. I chuckled it downstairs, after a beating, lol. And later, received a scorning when she found it whilst doing laundry. 🤔 Fun times, looking back. I enjoyed the reaction. Look forward to the next. Take care and God bless. ✝️
This movie scared the hell out of me when I was younger! My dad recorded this, BATMAN 89, and GHOSTBUSTERS 2 on the same VHS tape.
Steven Spielberg was considered to direct the film but chose Tom Holland after he was impressed by Holland's film Fright Night in 1985.
Rocky Morton Annabelle Jenkell, William Friedkin, Robert Wise, Jack Clayton, Robert Aldrich, Joseph Reuben, Irvin Kershner, and Robert Altman were considered for Directing the project.
The criminal who became Chucky was Grimer wormtounge from Lord of the rings and the cop was the Prince Humperdinck from princess bride!
Now murder whisle where's those 40 baboons on leashes energy at when you want to go against lions in this movie lol
2nd is a must. Favorite of the series
