People are crazy about Ichika Nito , Tim Henson like players now a days ..what they lack is life in the music .it sounds really robotic ... Joe satriyani , Andy Timmons , Stel Andre are just master in bringing life into music ..its nothing but just story telling .just fantastic .
He went to work on this one! It's hard to add to perfection, but he manages to pull it off in spades! When he is on his game, it gets even more emotional. Different phrasing, extended runs, one note pauses. This performance was second to none. Extremely gifted.
Couldn't agree more... I honestly believe it starts out with his tone/delay dial in... I think if he's feeling it right away it, gives him the guts to take it further than usual as far is improvisation goes....
Gary Moore’s spirit lives on, this man makes the guitar cry with emotion and give you the goosebumps just as he once did. Thankful to have found Amy’s music, legend!
Timir Das well ironically, he played in an 80’s band whose most famous songs were live ballads😂 danger danger is a criminally underrated band simply for the fact that he was the lead guitarist
My Ibanez starter guitar kit came with an instructional video in it. The teacher was Andy Timmons. I could not believe my ears being 15 years old I was blown away and I am still to this day. Still my favorite guitarist 22 years later!!
I have a Telecaster with Andy Timmons signature on it. It remembers me to never put limits on my playing, because if you think that a guitarist like Andy exists, you know there is always a better way to play something. It's up to you to find it. But at the same time, you know deep inside you that you'll never be capable to play like Andy. Anyway, never, NEVER put limits on what you think are capable to do.
Certainly one of the most beautiful and gripping pieces of instrumental guitar ever composed. Still grabs you after all these years. Beautiful and soulful impro of this piece that many of us know every single note of. One of Andy's best ever live versions of this song.
I am 63 years old. I saw queen as a backing group in 1972 . I just found this music. Just brilliant , jaw dropping straight from the heart, would love to see him live.
An absolute legend no matter which version you see of cry for you on youtube you have to watch it till the end. Great version Andy and keep your legacy alive; Play on Maestro.
We were lucky enough to see Andy in Ottawa this past August. A musician's musician, who plays from a well of emotion deep in his soul, and a helluva nice, humble guy. In my top 3 guitar players on the planet.

Deep and sorrowful feeling ...intense... magical... beautiful... astonishing .The most tasteful guitarist I've ever heard ! Andy " The Tone King " Timmons has it all !!! Tremendous respect for you Andy . You have a gift and I am greatful & very honored to have met you at guitar clinics & at MoJo's Boneyard . Andy Timmons live and in person is a humbling experience like no other ! Cry For You is a masterpiece indeed ! #OTHERWORDLY #phenomenal
Singular, inigualável. O encontro de técnica, senso melódico e pegada em seus níveis mais elevados. Pode ser facilmente a maior balada de guitarra de todos os tempos.
Such an excellent player. A true inspiration. He actually knows how to make his axe cry into emotions which every guitarist wants to learn... but only few succeed, Guthrie and Via for example. Huge respect sir.🙏

Rock and gituar music is not something I usually listen to. But my god every time I listen to this song I get goosebumps! One of the best guitar solos out there!
He composed an epic piece of music. Then he keeps making it epic-er and epic-er every time he improvs over it. I don't understand how this is even possible...
Oq falar desse herói da guitarra? Cara fantástico melódico, virtuoso, timbre com uma identidade imensa ,muita alma e acima de tudo muito humilde conheci ele aqui em.salvador BA e ele está além de um instrumento sou fan
Big fan of Andy Timmons, heard him on the Protocol franchise (Simon Philips) for the first time I think, his tone, the way he phrases, my kind of guitarist! ❤
This guy has the most incredible tone in his playing. I would say the best since Shawn Lane passed away. That's the biggest compliment I can give him, kudos my friend ☘
I've listened this masterpiece for many times in 90-ties version. But now ... A.T. is not simply the best rock guitarist ever. In early times of Hendrix, Page and Clapton (and McLaughlin&Co) could someone imagine that rock music would ever have such musicality (even not speaking about playing technique so rich, developed and remaining characteristic for rock guitar)?
Thank you so very much for posting this Andy brings me to tears This is such joyous music so beautiful I am so glad to be a live to hear this and it inspires me with hope to continue on
This is not a solo. This is a Soulo.
I cry for the 143 people that dislike this performance... and try to understand what kind of problem they have...
I too, as well as, also
His guitar is connected to his heart. Simply amazing.
Thé best guitarist in the world
That's really the best way to put it. His gift touches every emotion we have.
ua-cam.com/video/7YvdeuKadgw/v-deo.html
he is the best to express emotion
That’s the best description I’ve ever heard of his playing
Could be the most underrated virtuoso very easily
Drummer, keyboardist & bassist requested him to play in a backing track so that they could be in the crowd and enjoy the music.
Aku Grace Thank you for the answer for the question Ive been asking myself.
Goosebumps
I thought you were joking, at first, but I really believe it now. I would if I was a drummer
Thats just sad

True Mateus Asato is also very expressive so is Mancuso, plini and some more from this era
1. How is it humanly possible for anyone to be this creative?
2. How is it humanly possible for anyone to dislike this video?
Some learn to be & some are born with it. 2nd question some people just need their ears checked along with their hearts.
I consider steve to be way more creative but Andy is great and maybe a better guitar player !! He can extract way more then the others
Mark, can i add:
3. How is it humanly possible for anyone to be so expressive?
Humanity still believes in stupid dictatorship, no wonder that 110 cunts disliked this

Gary , Carlos and definitely Andy!! Unbelievable!!
Didn't realize I could go over 7 minutes without taking a breath!! STUNNING!
you know you cant do it scientifically, but you can do it musically
This is great. But, The first version is a masterpiece...
The touch, the harmonic, the dynamic is far more alive...

7 minutes and 32 seconds of pure pleasure and exaltation
He's so organic, natural, and his tone is 99% on fingers. He is like a Larry Carlton of rock.

He is playing alone because no one can share his stage. Love his playing!
cry for you, the prayer/the answer, gone, etc. please live forever Andy, we need you
A great red wine becomes better with the years...!! Andy, simply classy.
Just over 7 minutes of pure virtuosity. He's so good, he made the drummer disappear.
