Andy and Martin as far better guitar player than Gary Moore, but smartass and idiots can´t admit and perceive this reality! To me, the reality and the real prove speaks louder than the myths and propaganda about Gary and a lot of musicians.... Today the technical level, or degree, of the guitar is more higher than 80s. Today we´re moved to fusion, mixing everything - blues, jazz, rock, soul, funk etc. - in a same style. In my opinion we´re better today in free and musical liberty than 80, but with a few good musicians and with a few originality, like one Van HAlen, LArry Carlton, Gambale, Greg Howe, Michael Lee Firkins, Jeff Beck etc, for example. Andy is Andy, no matter what. Great playing full of soul. Martin is Martin, great playing full of tecnic. And a great voice. And all the band are amazing. Gary would love it. Much as we do❤
Mark Ford Eric Johnson seems more versatile with tonality but I’ve always preferred Andy’s sound. Andy plays a bit more aggressively and really gets the full sound out of whatever he’s playing through.
Incredible! So technically flawless without sacrificing any soul and expression. Congrats to the entire band! Andy Timmons and Martin Miller nailed it! So much food to eat!
This is a band's result. There's not one man, or two. All musicians are first class (I love the bass player!) The main actor is the location!! It shows what you are standing for. Thanx!
That was beautiful. MMs smooth overdrive contrasting with Andy’s gnarly angry tone... and those two solos.. wow. Got transported to another dimension and just fell back down.
This is by far one of my favorite arrangements ever. I've been working hard at trying to learn your solos Martin. This song gives me so many chills when I'm playing it and hearing it!
LOST for words. So much emotion in this song, but the lead work leaves me in tears. I am literally wiping tears from my eyes and my wife is smiling at me. The harmony Leads destroyed me.. PLEASE, PLEASE omg PLEASE come to Australia.
A true demonstration of the difference between pro and amateur. Supreme competence and passion, and to have Andy Timmons and Martin trading solos, what a treat!
@@StratOnFire I'm not the one who wrote "the difference between an amatuer and a pro" or something like that. Or maybe I misunderstood. Still, Andy disappointed me.
All of you missed Tyrion's point .....he meant the whole band as a whole played the song like professionals which they are.... .....not some bar cover band trying to do Gary ....that's why it sounds so great .....To have Andy and Martin trade off solos was just a bonus......This version burns !
I've just realised I've commented on this video twice before! Listening 3yrs on - and my comments just show how each time you listen to these master musicians, the joy and pleasure never dwindles.
that feel and emotion comes from his incredible techniques. techinque isn't just about playing fast. It's the 20 different ways you can bend a note, how hard you hit each note etc.
Martin your vocals are like honey dripping down the honeycomb bro and perfectly on key. Great job! Andy and Martins solos were top shelf and the harmony at the end was the perfect finish. All complimented by the rest of the band with ultra-tight precision. Hands down the best version of that song yet; in my world anyway. If I may call you "Martin and the Machine", greatest session band ever! True fan of your highest quality musical productions.
Magnificent! You're all brillant musicians. Everytime I listen to this version, it motivates me to be a better musician. It's truly inspiring to hear you all "speaking" the language of emotions with such passion. My respects 🙌🏻
Oh wow!!! Unbelievable cover... dueling, perfect pitch and timing. My extreme gratitude for your take on a classic. Oh my... so sweet. Think I may some insulin!! Absolutely amazing!
I always aimed at being close to the originals .. because Gary Moore is such an animal. But you guys prove that you can be different AND can be as equally exciting ... I'm stoked and can't stop listening.... Love you and the rest of the band.
Martins singing is so great. If I didn't know and you told me he was someone who felt he had to "learn" to do it, I wouldn't believe it. He sings like someone who's always been a natural singer, and the fact this isn't his first language is basically unbelievable.

WOW...just freakin WOW! Pretty Sweet indeed! Everybody was just killing it...and then the harmony guitars at the end... Thank you for sharing!
Martin's guitar neck was not roasted until after that solo.
Ha! xD
@@MartinMillerGuitar That solo was extremely tastefull! :-)
Haha best comment yet 😆
hahaha
Lol
Holy cow! Everything is so good, the playing, the mixing, singing. Congratulations!
Andy is Andy, no matter what. Great playing full of soul. Martin is Martin, great playing full of tecnic. And a great voice. And all the band are amazing. Gary would love it. Much as we do❤
La partie finale à deux voix m'a tiré quelques larmes ! bravo !
Huge fan of Gary Moore’s. More than ‘pretty sweet’. Absolutely fantastic! Gary would have been proud I am quite sure. Thank you for the music🙏
Andy's solo is like a bomb on guitar. I've never seen that before.
That tone is right up there on top 10 of all time.
BUTTER.
Tauno Kekkonen agree. People always talk about Eric Johnson’s tone, but Andy’s is my favorite.
Mark Ford Eric Johnson seems more versatile with tonality but I’ve always preferred Andy’s sound. Andy plays a bit more aggressively and really gets the full sound out of whatever he’s playing through.
I actually think I preferred Martin's solo but Andy's still got no fakery!
Incredible amount of talent in that room. Well done!
Wow!!!!! That was an astonishingly good rendition of a great tune….very well done everybody. Entire band killed it!!
This is by far one of my favorite arrangements ever. I've been working hard at trying to learn your solos Martin. This song gives me so many chills when I'm playing it and hearing it!
Imagine how cool it would be to be there in the moment of recording
Not digging them at all... but considering they are all wearing in ears it probably wouldnt sound that great in the room...
Great version. Honoring to Gary and with their own art interpretation. Pleasure to listen to. Yes ... There is only One Gary Moore!
I don't get your comment... Andy is the one who played like an amatuer on this one, sadly.
And the drummer annoys me.
@@aGabay lol you're joking right! There's no amateur in that room!
@@StratOnFire I'm not the one who wrote "the difference between an amatuer and a pro" or something like that.
Or maybe I misunderstood.
Still, Andy disappointed me.
@Jonathan Barry he played beautifully tbh. He went amazingly with the melody of the song that resulted into an emotional solo. Great work!
All of you missed Tyrion's point .....he meant the whole band as a whole played the song like professionals which they are.... .....not some bar cover band trying to do Gary ....that's why it sounds so great .....To have Andy and Martin trade off solos was just a bonus......This version burns !
When a drummer is smiling and laughing when he's playing... trust him.
MinorChord - epic comment. Few drummers play with that philosophy ha ha ha
Craig Meyer is like that. Dude BEAMS while playing!
why isn't this song version on Spotify?
Because the perfect original version is on there 😂
@@gav25x it is sad i want this on the spotify
I've just realised I've commented on this video twice before! Listening 3yrs on - and my comments just show how each time you listen to these master musicians, the joy and pleasure never dwindles.
Wow! What a performance!! To note, Martin is a technical genius, but Andy Timmons plays with much more feel and emotion.
He plays so relaxed, the guitar is actually part of him.
Totally wrong ......have a nice day
that feel and emotion comes from his incredible techniques. techinque isn't just about playing fast. It's the 20 different ways you can bend a note, how hard you hit each note etc.
What a band....
My God, so sick!
Andy's neck pickup through the Lonestar is a beautiful thing. He's a master of tone...such a class act.
Sempre me emociono com essas escalas... Amo Gary Moore
Magnificent! You're all brillant musicians. Everytime I listen to this version, it motivates me to be a better musician. It's truly inspiring to hear you all "speaking" the language of emotions with such passion. My respects 🙌🏻
Excelente, perfect, una gran interpretación, simplemente magistral... Gary Moore vive en esa interpretación
This has to be one of my favorite videos of UA-cam, I just found out about you guys and I'm loving every second of every video. Thank you.
What about Martin Miller’s vocals? Simply amazing! I love this. Both Andy and Martin are awesome!
MIller sounds a lot like Glenn Frye here.
Martins singing is so great. If I didn't know and you told me he was someone who felt he had to "learn" to do it, I wouldn't believe it. He sings like someone who's always been a natural singer, and the fact this isn't his first language is basically unbelievable.
They did it with all their heart, so they enjoyed making it into this special songs. thanks for sharing.
MARTIN MILLER...NICE PLAY
ANDY TIMMONS..MAESTRO
GREAT COMBINATION
Gary Moore, still is the best 🎸 in history, his spirit live on forever in our hearts, thank you for playing his song.
Dream guitar team Timmons Miller
That lick at 1:49 makes me go crazy. Absolutely beautiful performance you all!
The tastiness and soul in this performance is outstanding!
You made gary and us proud!! Sending you love from India. Long live Rock n Roll !! ❤ 😢 Just can't get enough of what you all played. 😢❤
