For this episode we used footage from the other Ocean Race teams to widen the view beyond out Malizian world. Ich find es klasse, dass Ihr Deutsch deutsch und Englisch englisch lasst. Vielleicht beim nächsten Mal auch Französisch und Niederländisch. Obwohl es dann für mich schwieriger wird.
Finde es auch super, dass die Sprache nicht synchronisiert wird. Für alles was ich nicht beherrsche gibt es ja Untertitel.

great documentary, so much of the energy and team spirit gets transferred to us observers , armchair sailors that we are. . It is like being on the boat with you guys. You definitely have the best marketing strategy of all the teams involved in this race. You share feelings, ups and downs and it is just a treat to watch this series and follow the race. I really hope you do win this, but even if you don't , you are the winners of our hearts! Stay as authentic as you are!

ein Kevin , der bei der "Pressekonferenz" Humor beweist, als er auf die Frage wer Zweiter wird antwortet, wie nochmal die erste Frage war (wer wird Erster😅)
und Boris der kurz vor Schluss sagt, dass dies kein Boris Herrmann Racing sondern Team Malizia Racing ist. Ein Satz der mehr nicht ausdrücken kann👍🏼Will Harris jetzt mehr und mehr in die Verantwortung zu nehmen, ihm und der Crew vollstes Vertrauen zu schenken zeugt - für mich jedenfalls - von Größe. auch für einen "Nicht-Segler" ist das so spannend, dass ich seitdem versuche so viel wie eben möglich von allem zu verfolgen! Ich frage mich warum das so ist? Hab ich das richtig verstanden? Boris Herrman lässt eine Etappe aus? Hat das irgendwas mit dem Rennen zu tun? Kommt dann Ersatz an Bord? Denn da würden ja zwei Hände fehlen.
Hi, ganz zum Schluss hast du Christopher Pratt ankommen sehen, der das Team wieder ergänzt. Sehr erfahrener Segler (Charal etc.). Das Boris aussetzt, war vorher abgesprochen - familiäre Gründe, die nachvollziehbar sind 😊. Bei der 5. Etappe ist er wieder dabei, vermutlich 6. wieder nicht und die letzte dann wieder dabei.
@@ruediger_b Danke für die Info. Das ganze Event ist extrem spannend. Von der technischen über die taktische bis zur menschlichen Seite. Ich habe in Oldenburg gewohnt und Boris Hermann ist la auch Oldenburger. Nicht gerade der Ort wo man einen solchen Segler der Weltmeere vermuten würde. Das war so der erste Punkt der mir auffiel. Und jetzt finde ich es schon ziemlich spannend, warum man da überhaupt jemals eine Etappe auslassen würde, vom menschlichen Standpunkt aus gesehen. Wird interessant sein zu sehen wie die "neue" Crew zusammenarbeitet. Alles in allem ein spannendes Ereignis der Zeitgeschichte. Freue mich schon auf die nächsten Etappen. Wann geht es eigentlich weiter?

@@ruediger_b Er wird wohl auch bei der 6. Etappe dabei sind. Das ist die Etappe von Aarhus nach Den Haag mit dem Fly-by in Kiel. Das wird er sich nicht nehmen lassen. Meine auch, er hätte mal gesagt, dass er eigentlich nur die 4. Etappe verpassen wollte, aber auf Grund seiner Verletzung dann außerplanmäßig auch die 2. Etappe verpassen musste.

I am curious how far such on-board reporting which shortcuts traditional distribution networks (sailing press, mainstream ard and ZDF TVs) doesn’t undermine a wider distribution? 🤷♂️ … just a question.
Also, at some point with so much pictures, that actually alsways look similar (and I am Very interested in sailing), is the interest of the general public not going to be saturated and diminish over time?
Also great to see the fantastic Malizia team with less Dutch extravaganza. I could have more tactic and technique, maybe with proper English and less Frenglich! ;-)
