🌼Declutter your Home and Simplify your Life DIGITAL COURSE🌼
SIMPLIFY TO THRIVE: simplifytothri...
In this 8-module course(go at your own pace), you will learn what you value most in life, get some tangible tips for shifting your mindset and seeing the good, and then we will declutter! If you want to make it stick and you truly want to simplify and slow down, you've got to use this strategy. A simple, beautiful and fulfilling life can be your reality, and I'd be honored to guide you there!
Here's what some of my clients have said:
"When I watched the intro videos before the modules, I actually started crying from a weight being lifted that I didn’t know was there. I had no idea how much I had been holding on to so tightly in my life emotionally and physically, and the toll it was taking. This course isn’t just about decluttering a closet or two. This course truly is designed to cleanse and reset the mental and physical. It breaks down so many lies that we have been told as women in our society. It gives you support and such great encouragement. I looked forward every day to logging on and doing my modules. It was a form of self-care. I honestly found that because of the financial investment, I was even more determined to take the course seriously and challenge myself. If you commit to this course you will walk away the best version of yourself.”

Our county library system has a "Library of Things" that are available to reserve and check-out. It's amazing the variety of items they have: food dehydrator, pressure cooker, sewing machine, photography equipment, robotics kits for kids, . . . . It's so great to be able to check out things instead of buying and storing them, especially for stuff that would only be seldomly used.
I find such peace from your content. I am going through a rough season caring for my aging parents who both have dementia. I find your soothing family focused content encouraging and is keeping me on track with my own desires to live simply and minimally.
Find something that gives you joy today ❤ that’s a really heavy burden, I hope you have a community around you that can help or just be a listening ear. I’ll be praying for you!!!
I am more minimal in my house but the kitchen is not. As a homesteader I genuinely need many baskets, bowls, knifes, measuring cups etc… but I will say I keep what I genuinely need.
All that matters 💛 it’s truly just what is most functional and essential for our own personal needs because it’s so easy to get wrapped into have excess loll
@@naturallyaziz for sure. I wish I could have a more minimal kitchen like her it’s beautiful. But everyone has their own needs.
Hi there ….consider no rugs in the kitchen…save the washing of the rug … just wash the floor… best decision I made as an older lady ❤
0:48 is the best HAHAHA
This video couldn't be more timely!!! I was literally just telling my mom that I need to declutter my kitchen and get rid of some things, we have accumulated too much stuff.
I am pretty minimal-ish in my house though my kitchen items are probably more -ish than minimal, we use glass food storage instead of plastic because it keeps the food longer as plastic is permeable and allows oxygen in it faster which speeds up decay, I have one set of cast iron skillets and Dutch oven, 2 porcelain cast iron and a complete set of HexClad cookware, NotdicWare aluminum bakeware: 4 cookie sheets, 2 round cake pans, 9x13 cake pan, brownie pan, 2 muffin tins, 4 seasonal muffin tins, 1 pizza pan- not one non-stick; a set of Pyrex baking pans and loaf pans. I have a 22qt electric toaster, a Ninja Foodie Slow cooker and an InstaPot, a KitchenAid Stand Mixer, an immersion blender set, an electric kettle, a toaster, a waffle iron and my Ninja IQ blender- all kept in an appliance pantry my husband built next to our fridge about 30” wide and 18” deep just to fit all the appliance and baking stuff, my husband also built a food pantry that’s 3ft deep and 5ft wide but has narrow shelves of 15” deep so all our food stores do not get lost though we did do a 20” deep shelf across the long wall as the bottom most shelf about 2ft from the floor and under that shelf is my bulk food buckets, the shelves are adjusted from tallest items to shortest spacing up to about 2 ft from the ceiling (the very top shelf is also 20” deep for overstock, paper towels/plates) around all 3 sides- we have a small galley kitchen that only had one wall with cabinets and sink and on the other side was a freestanding range and fridge with no cabinets- we move the range to the sink side which eliminated not just upper cabinets but counter space, but it freed up the opposite wall to accommodate the pantries and fridge and allowed uppers and lowers between the fridge and big pantry which also allows my microwave and coffee pot to live. After 41 years of marriage, I have learned that having all the stuff and the latest and greatest is not all it’s cracked up to be, I shake my head at the waste of $ over the years buying all the stuff and I make amazing meals and baked goods with just the items I have. A good set of cookware and bakeware (not an advocate of non-stick or ceramic, as both end up scratching plus they should never be used on high heat due to the nature of the material), the use of parchment paper and silpat liners (the basic Amazon ones are just as good as the high end Silpat) will save your bakeware- using the parchment paper allows you to lift things that need cutting onto a cutting board and store in a glass container and I use the large Pyrex 11”x15” baking pan for our lasagna, to stop cut marks in my aluminum bakeware.
you busted me Margaret! haha with that first item countertop clutter.. i need to get my family on board with find a spot for said item... or throw it away.. etc.. love this.. and love the idea of making what can be a daily chore.. into something special and these are the things we can look forward to and our kiddos will remember
Feeling so inspired by your ‘things you can add’ category. Thank you for this lovely video, it’s great to see you again ❤
Love the washable rug idea. I just go without any in my kitchen and I'm cooking all meals, we home all day with 4 littles 🙃 I just take the carpet out of the equation 😜
I agree that kitchens without clutter are soooooo amazing. It just looks way better. My husband uses our electric kettle daily and I don't like it on the counter at all but we all use it so often. It is one of the only things on our counter but it is in a corner and looks pretty hidden.
I can't imagine being in 13 homes that often in such a short period of time. I have moved twice ever (and married twenty of those years).
Definitely loved this video and couldn't agree with you more!
I have two pens that are refillable that I have been using for a few years straight. I just buy the ink when it gets low. No need for a million pens! :)
Thanks for teaching people about toxic soaps and such. I have been making my own cleaners and using soaps that are non-toxic for over a decade. It is so good to do. I wish many people understood and wanted to have less toxic materials in their homes in general!
I just redid my kitchen and we had to decide what to do about the corner cabinet. The builder said "you can put all the things you don't use" and i couldn't find a single thing that i don't use at least one a week. That was a proud moment
You’ve inspired me. I’ve been practicing minimalism for 8.5 years. I have 2 spatulas. One lives in the drawer. One almost never makes it into the drawer cause it’s in the frying pan, sink or dish drainer.
I’m going to declutter the drawer one. If the one I have- that I really like and got from Walmart for less than $4- got messed up, I’d want to replace it with the same one anyway.
Just found your channel today and loving it so far. You totally called me out about the avocado slicer I bought thinking it was a good idea. I was literally thinking I need to get rid of it as you were talking and then you mentioned it. 😅
Love that outfit on you Marg, the blue is stunning ❤
One of my favorite videos of yours!
I got rid of my teapot few years ago. I use induction stove so it’s faster to cook water this way, plus I don’t have to maintain, clean, store and ever again think of the kettle 😅
I use my kitchen everyday, it is very functional! I love it to look decorated but I get stressed with extra things in my way when I am cooking or baking. I like to use pretty items that I actually use for my decor.
The way you feel about dish detergent is how I feel about laundry detergent haha! I make my own with 4 ingredients; washing soda, baking soda, Epsom salt and sea salt. Occasionally a splash of white vinegar is a load is particularly bad! I’ve been slimming down my cleaning supplies to better for us and environment options as well as multipurpose so I can have more space and less clutter. My kitchen I feel does have a few extra dish items but I do use them for when we have guests etc. I enjoy having them as well as my other bakeware that is beautiful. I plan to replace my current pot and pan set with stainless steel with no coatings and cast iron as nonstick cookware is riddled with cancer causing chemicals (my husband is a chemical engineer and he has learned so much about these big industries it’s insane what they get away with.) we hope to become homesteaders in the not to distant future when we can afford to buy a home (and when we know where God wants us)
Many blessings from south Louisiana! ❤️🙏🏼 great content!
Thank you for your videos!! Keeping me on task and living a little more simpler!! Can't wait for them to restock the water filter home system because I'm tired of refilling my Burkey filter every day lol😅😊❤
You are my lookalike! Sometimes I feel like I am looking into a mirror when I watch your videos. Except you always look so put together, and I am a hot mess most of the time. I am going to try your 30-day dress challenge, maybe that will help me out lol. Thank you for sharing so much of your life with us - your videos always make my frantic mind feel a little bit more calm
Never thought about dish soap being toxic before. I'm sure its a little more expensive (as most natural products are) but If it keeps me safe and way from harmful substances then i'll take it up!
Thanks for the info. I did switch to blueland dishwasher tabs and like them so far.
the end of this was so cute!! I am now a mom of two and trying to figure out how to do life with two littles. Irish twins ☺️
I love watching your videos. You have such a beautiful family.
I completely agree! Where did you get your cutting board with the feet? I've been searching for a nice quality one.
Thank you margaret 🥰
Love your vlogs! Subscribed months ago! Too few channels dedicated to minimalism. I myself struggle with it. Thank you and please keep it up!
Baby boy already turned 1! Oh my goodness!
I follow the 5/7 rule for the kitchen counters: if I use an item at least 5 days a week it stays on the counter. Toaster, beautiful manual coffee grinder, Old Yankee cutting board, ceramic jar of coffee beans.
What a relevant video❤
Can you please share the link for the foaming dishsoap bottle? you mentioned it in your prior videos. Thank you!! Love your videos, very inspiring, already applied some of strategies and they are a game changer !!
Whenever we have MORE than 1 soother for our baby we can never keep track of them and can never find one when we need it. But when we only have one- we always keep track 😅😅😅
Hiya, I don't think you linked the article about dish detergent toxicity ❤
Your tea kettle is not ugly
I did switch to better choices on cleaning products throughout my house however would love to see the article, I can’t find it in the description ☹️
Please link the article regarding dishwasher detergent and dish soap. I also noticed a missing link in your description for healthy candles!
This is funny to me because i literally need double everything because i keep kosher and i need a meat and dairy version of everything i have. But i get your point to have 1 of each within each of those categories
What dish soap do you use?
I am wondering why you have a tea cettle when you just as easy and fast can boil water on the stove? Or? Don’t take this as a negativ comment please! I am just curious as I have my cettle out using it 3-5 times a day. But when I go to babysit grandchildren I always us the stove as it is just as easy when the kettle is in a cupboard. Love the way your videos always makes me feel and I have been so inspired by you and my live is soo much better for it! Thank You 🙏
My kettle has always worked faster than the stove 😊
@@Tweetyaj12 Well my point was that you don’t need a kettle! It is one more thing to take care of.
I never saw the “need” for a kettle until I started really getting into pour-over coffee and tea as a way of embracing a more slow/simple lifestyle. It’s not necessary, but I really do enjoy the process so much more & it makes it worth it to me to have the kettle :) just one thought for you! I’ve decluttered so many other kitchen gadgets/appliances, but I’m holding on tight to the electric kettle 😆
Good morning ☀️
Can you please link your alarm clock ?⏰
I love your channel. But I feel like so many videos lately are long infomercials for the same products-Epic Water, Branch Basics, master classes, etc. I miss/would love to see more original content in the future.
can u link your grey sweater at beginning of video?
I make sourdough almost daily with no stand mixer. Not required at all.
🤗
❤
I’m having trouble finding Mary suds dishwasher pods. I can’t find them on Amazon!
*Molly's* suds. 😉
Oooo that thumbnail is CHIC 🖤👌🏻
The talking with the knife 🔪 🫣 😅
Hi, I tried to purchase some Pique Matcha but your code didn't work. Are you still an affiliate?
Hi!How can we keep in touch with you to have a collaboration?☺
Interesting that your way to speak changes so drastically as you made a course, even manipulative in a way. I’ve been watching for a long time, I don’t have problems with courses themselves, but it pushes away when people change their personality to sell.
Ah this is insightful to me!! I’m still learning how to talk confidently about my course. Any wisdom would be so appreciated. Is there a better way I could phrase it?
I want to be a minimalist but also an overthinker so i really have a tendency to buy things for “future” need. Any tips on how to start? 🥲
❤
