My destress/happy place is my garden - both veg and flowers. It gives me peace to get my hands in dirt and do the mundane chores of weeding, trimming, fertilizing and planning. I always enjoy the garden but if I get backed up and feel a melt down coming, even walking outside and breathing helps. Also, I can work in the garden, leave the back door slightly open and hear any catastrophes inside.
I love that you mentioned the pantry. We don't have one & I find myself getting jealous of other's pantries. Great area to focus my gratitude. We have enough food that I need more storage space for it! WOW, what a blessing.
I just found your channel a week ago or so and I love your authenticity. I’ve shared with friends and they love it also! Truly it’s hard to find someone showing a small space with multiple children where your house doesn’t look like every other item in your home has been shown on tick tock. I appreciate all the info for the items you have, saves me time from having to search for them. Thank you for all you do, please keep sharing ❤

People look angry at me when I tell them to take their shoes off too. Like, "What's your problem? You want me to have my feet exposed?!?" Like, "YES." haha. Great video. As a mother of three boys too, I love teaching them minimalist habits that have kept our home clean! I love what you said about how your home is not a place of storage. So true. No one should just have stuff everywhere.
I like you and your message. I had followed and then unfollowed in the past. I only watch/listen to UA-cam when I’m driving alone or when I’m folding laundry, so I don’t choose to follow a lot of people. I did miss some of your messages and looked you up again, but I have to agree that the continual offering of things to buy isn’t something I can let into my life and seems very opposite of your message. I understand the need to have sponsors for money, totally, but this was like product after product being mentioned, even down to a shoe rack. “Be content, but also place your shoes by the door in an aesthetically pleasing way, so here’s a link to my shoe rack.” Women now feel compelled to make sure their front door shoe organization is ‘bamboo’ because they want to achieve what they think you have in your home. It’s the opposite of contentment.

I get what you’re saying. My thoughts….If commercials are helpful for the content creator so they can provide free content, I think it’s a good trade. Many are now saving their best content for subscribers who pay a fee. We don’t have to buy what she recommends.
@@lizpetruzzi7700 I understand what you are saying as well however when people like myself come to see content about minimalism due to so many purchases and within the first few minutes, she’s promoted three things to buy. It’s just a bit triggering, especially when I’ve struggled in the past from purchasing so much of what was “promoted” to me. I want to take control of my home without having to buy MORE things (without the temptation). That’s just my personal opinion. I understand most enjoy this but I will stick to other “minimalism” content as this is not for me.

I don't wear shoes in my house. However, in most occasions, asking guests to take off their shoes is a big no if you ask me.
