The performance was fine, politics aside, the song was still bland asf, if this was any other year, Eden would have gotten next to no points from the televote.
@@ikuas3881 tbh,... I dont even like Israel and they should've been disqualified but the song was great and she performed it flawlessly. i think in ideal conditions is a top 10 song.
@@taftybufty Nahhh, no way, in another year maybe I could see the argument for top 10, this year was already so incredibly stacked. The song is far too safe and by the books, in a year where we have Rim Tim Tagi Dim, Europapa, The Code, Doomsday Blue, etc, you really had to stand out and be original. Israel's song didn't do either, just another ballad. And even in that regard, how could you compete when France showed everyone how ballads should be done with an insanely good performance, I can't see Israel in the top 15 this year, much less 10
#JOOSTICE I knew things were going to be different this year but I never expected this sort of double standards. So ironic how the EBU created a situation that is the exact opposite of what Eurovision stands for. Anyway, I uploaded my top with comments as well :)
Here are my personal votes/rankings, i'am from the Netherlands (Rotterdam city) (i give my personal points to the ESF eurovision songs performed in the Grand Final Show) 12 points: Spain - Nebulossa - Zorra 10 points: Sweden - Marcus & Martinus - Unforgettable 8 points: Croatia - Baby Lasagna - Rim tim tagi dim 7 points: France - Slimane Nebchi - Mon amour 6 points: United Kingdom - Olly Alexander - Dizzy 5 points: Germany - Isaak Guderian - Always on the run 4 points: Cyprus - Silia Kapsis - Liar 3 points: Finland - Windows95Man - No rules! 2 points: Switzerland - Nemo Mettler - The code 1 point : Lithuania - Silvester Belt - Luktelk
But if the Netherlands resign for next year we’re giving in to the division and let the dividers win, please come back next year, we need to try to stand United even if the ebu tries to break us ❤️
it's difficult... i mean the dutch broadcoasters can't pretend nothing has happened so i guess the ebu & avrotros are going to have a lot of meetings... what i hope the most is that joost (if he wants) returns next year with an automatic spot in the finals
We have to also take into account that Netherlands took away many votes from other countries. I genuinely think that more people voted for number 5 than they would if he had performed and not be disqualified.
i genuinely think that if we took part we wouldn't have won. i think we would have absolutely crashed the televote, but jury... not so sure. i also believe croatia may would have won, cause i think we would have taken a lot of points of switzerland. but yeah we will never know 🫡
@@escmarissa I think it would affect Croatia more because many of their 12's would become 10's or even 8's meanwhile Switzerland would only lose 1-2 points per country
@@escmarissa Yeah im mostly just playing with the assumption that Europapa fans were most likely to either put their votes on Croatia or didn't vote at all
Finally some recognition for Estonia!
EUROPAPA and JUSTICE FOR JOOST
#justiceforjoost the audience just loved him, even me in front of the tv made his dance
A rare time I was more than excited for the ESC week to end. The double standarts were too much and obviously justice for JOOST!
so weird right? the thing every year u can never wait for it to start - but this year more than happy it ended...
Yes, divided by music
I understand not including Israel in your list but you can’t deny that Eden performed well in the contest
Porque es un estado terrorista y genocida que no debería haber participado.

She can sing in a wonderful way but we all know the meaning of that lyrics
I'm always looking forward to hearing your ESC opinions! I'm glad we are the same page on the Netherlands, EBU, and that country....
makes me happy to hear! 😊

Malta getting last in the semi was the biggest crime this year (if you exclude the disqualification obviously). Sarah slayed so hard!
iknow, so sad :(
Malta 😢😢

Omg you put France 4th, first time you put my country in the Top 10, I'm shocked! 😅
My favorite is your last 😍😍
Still, great top, and also #joostice
I hope Joost is doing ok :(
i hope so too :(
it is just like UA-cam Rewind.. all over again, isnt it
You have a typo: its supposed to say it doesnt mean these boys DIDNT make sweden proud
Zorra IS so robbed + JUSTECE FOR JOOST BRO

no Israel? not worth watching.
bye 😊
A quick reminder that Eden destroyed Joost on the second semi final results 🫶🏼
a quick reminder that 12 points is not really what you can call 'destroyed' 🫶
