Thanks Ann for this wonderful analysis/reaction to Angelina. She sang this song several times, usually she does it as a tribute to the fans on Valentine's Day. Certainly she had not yet arrived at such a well modulated, harmonic and floating version. For me, Angelina's is a voice that you can listen to for hours every day and never get tired, every time she caresses your soul and takes you to the threshold of emotion. I’m sure by now you must know that Angelina roots are in Jazz while she sings other genre Jazz is where she shines by the age of 8 she was a full fledged Jazz artist. Her grandmother (world renowned poet and artist Mery Zamani aka Mosarz ) instilled two things in Angelina her love of Jazz and her humanitarianism. Mery has for many years held Art exhibits all over the world where the proceeds go to charities Angelina has already helped raise millions of Euros for charities. My Funny Valentine This is my 105th time listening to this MASTERPIECE and each time I experience a new level of perfection by our ethereal prodigy extraordinaire, Angelina Jordan. When you listen to the A cappella portions of this performance at the very end of the song you are truly experiencing the genius of Angelina Jordan’s PERFECT PITCH. Sinatra, rest in peace Angelina Jordan, the Bare Foot Queen has taken the crown and there is nothing like her in the universe. When I first heard her perform this I put it on pause and brought up Sinatra, Bublé, Streisand, Fitzgerald and Vaughan's version of this song to compare it to AJ version, and none of them moved me like this version. Ann, Angelina is wearing contact to honor the shoeless girl. Princess, the shoeless girl, had blue eyes, you can see it in AJ´s book. Its something rare in Persia. As Angelina could not walk barefoot in this shop (danger of glass shards), I think she did it this way. ❤️❤️❤️❤️👣 It's been a while since you recorded this video, so I don't know how much you recall from it, but let me say a few things. Angelina's ability to emote is legendary among her fans. This particular song is one that she first sang as a pre-teen, but of course, those versions were just foreshadowing what would come by this time at age 16. Angelina has had general music education at her school in Norway, and the only vocal training per se was to teach her how to not damage her voice. She convinced her immediate family and her uncles family to move to the US so that she could continue to advance her music career before she ultimately signed with Republic Records when she was 14. She went to school in LA and graduated early when she was 17. Her family demanded from Republic that they not promote her heavily until she finished school as preserving a normal childhood for her has always been her families top priority. As normal as singing in front of thousands from the age of 8 permits, of course. She opened a concert for Nora Jones in front of 40,000 people in South Korea when she was 10. Recently, she has been working with Toby Gad on both original music and also covered his song If I Were A Boy for his album Piano Diaries at his request. They had recorded what we fans understand as 8 original songs when she was 16 that for reasons unknown were left off of her most recent EP Old Enough, which was mostly recorded at an age of 16 but not released until she had turned 17. She will be having her third US concert in LA at the Alex Theater on September 20th. There will be new music revealed there we hear. Whether this is the songs they recorded previously or new music or a combination of the two we don't know yet. It is rumored that Toby may be there as well, we will see. Angelina is viewed by many as a genius, certainly a prodigy with respect to her musical abilities. She sings many different genres and sings all of them at an expert level. She also has a good bit of original work on streaming services and UA-cam, especially for someone who just turned 18 this past January 10th. I was a typical casual rock n roll listener until I accidentally found Angelina, and she has opened up whole new worlds of music to me. You will want to hear her "Million Miles" written after the passing of her grandfather to whom she was quite close. Up beat jazzy style in "7th Heaven"---my favorite version of that is the video I call the kitchen video. And since Funny Valentine she has dropped two incredible new covers: "Suspicious Minds" of Elvis Presley fame, and the big, "I Have Nothing," written for Whitney Houston. Also, she surprised fans at her live concerts in Norway this summer with her version of "Mt Everest," by Labrinth. Everyone is waiting for an album to drop next year. Thanks for a great reaction. It is nice with a vocal coach who understand the technic in jazz vocals and even as a jazz singer. The worst vocal coach I heard, was one who listen to a jazz song from Angelina and the only thing she said "I want to hear her belt". She didn't get it at all. She's now a young lady 16 yrs old... BTW, she uses the blue contact lenses for her TikTok and Instagram postings... Those beautiful brown eyes are still intact!! Just an FYI, Angelina did a home video of this @10 yrs old, it is extraordinarily beautiful if you want to hear what power there was in her voice back then; she does sing the song with the original intro lyrics not used by artists these days. So great to see and hear you again... She did post her version of a jazz single, ORIGINAL that I'm sure you'll enjoy, It's titled "7th Heaven" age 15, in the original studio version, even her white gloves add to the feel of old club jazz singers... Ann, Angelina’s natural eye color is brown. She is either wearing blue contacts or she’s using a filter to make her eyes look blue.
Contacts her real eyes are brown/hazel. Its another way that she remembers the little girl on the street in Iran that she gave her favorite boots to.
Ann, Angelina is wearing contact to honor the shoeless girl. Princess, the shoeless girl, had blue eyes, you can see it in AJ´s book. Its something rare in Persia. As Angelina could not walk barefoot in this shop (danger of glass shards), I think she did it this way. In her Christmas virtual concert, she mentioned, that she had hurt her foot after a concert in NYC, stepping on a mousetrap in a dark corner. We can understand, that she is now more careful about her feet.

❤️❤️❤️❤️👣 It's been a while since you recorded this video, so I don't know how much you recall from it, but let me say a few things. Angelina's ability to emote is legendary among her fans. This particular song is one that she first sang as a pre-teen, but of course, those versions were just foreshadowing what would come by this time at age 16. Angelina has had general music education at her school in Norway, and the only vocal training per se was to teach her how to not damage her voice. She convinced her immediate family and her uncles family to move to the US so that she could continue to advance her music career before she ultimately signed with Republic Records when she was 14. She went to school in LA and graduated early when she was 17. Her family demanded from Republic that they not promote her heavily until she finished school as preserving a normal childhood for her has always been her families top priority. As normal as singing in front of thousands from the age of 8 permits, of course. She opened a concert for Nora Jones in front of 40,000 people in South Korea when she was 10. Recently, she has been working with Toby Gad on both original music and also covered his song If I Were A Boy for his album Piano Diaries at his request. They had recorded what we fans understand as 8 original songs when she was 16 that for reasons unknown were left off of her most recent EP Old Enough, which was mostly recorded at an age of 16 but not released until she had turned 17. She will be having her third US concert in LA at the Alex Theater on September 20th. There will be new music revealed there we hear. Whether this is the songs they recorded previously or new music or a combination of the two we don't know yet. It is rumored that Toby may be there as well, we will see. Angelina is viewed by many as a genius, certainly a prodigy with respect to her musical abilities. She sings many different genres and sings all of them at an expert level. She also has a good bit of original work on streaming services and UA-cam, especially for someone who just turned 18 this past January 10th. I was a typical casual rock n roll listener until I accidentally found Angelina, and she has opened up whole new worlds of music to me. Not only is Angelina a world-class vocalist, she is also a kindhearted, charitable, and humble young woman. Her fans, of which I am one, are called her Angels.😊
I think she has a lot of use for the fact she plays so many instruments in her singing... Her sound is a VERY agile instrument and blends so beutifull in diffrent ways with a guitarr or a piano!

Hi, I'm back. If you want to check out some original music by Angelina Jordan, consider "Oslo," one of her very first, I understand. You will want to hear her "Million Miles" written after the passing of her grandfather to whom she was quite close. Up beat jazzy style in "7th Heaven"---my favorite version of that is the video I call the kitchen video. And since Funny Valentine she has dropped two incredible new covers: "Suspicious Minds" of Elvis Presley fame, and the big, "I Have Nothing," written for Whitney Houston. Also, she surprised fans at her live concerts in Norway this summer with her version of "Mt Everest," by Labrinth. Everyone is waiting for an album to drop next year. Not sure if it will be all original or a mix of covers and originals.

At least one reactor has mentioned that her BLUE eyes in this video are contact lenses ... although Angelina is beautiful either way ... Angelina's 16 th Birthday was in January of this year (she moved with her family to Los Angeles a few years ago)
