Sorta an AMC..Actually it was just bought by AMC then...this Jeep was designed by Willys-Overland by when Jeep was a Willys...But this exact model was upgraded by KAISER!!!!!! This model of Jeep existed before AMC came around solely.
Happy to see the team work between you and Jessica. That's what makes a great relationship. When you work together for the same goal. My wife and I have been doing it for 44 yrs.
"I see no trash in the paint, wait there is trash in the paint." 😃 Its so cool how honest and straight up you are Randy! Your channel is one of my favorites for sure.
I had a army era willys jeep 22 years ago.... axles, ,, frame... ext..the dude that gave it to me wanted to buy it back...I gave it back No $$$ wanted I'm sure it's will be back on the road soon / I/ we had a mustang 2 body but it was swisscheese
Still is a rare sight today even is such condition ! Basically it 's a car that deserve a second chance and little love, i would daily it, sadly i'm on the other part of the ocean in Europe.. Please Randy save that Jeep, is very cool !
The 72 commando would have if it's a v6 it is a Buick motor v8's in 72 would be a 304, maybe a 360 both AMC power. It's nice but that will go for big $$
Love your videos watch them all the time. Watching carnage and normal wear and tear and just any kind of damage on cars or anything on your channel is what I like to watch.
That Mustang prolly left a "Cars and Coffee" event.....They love, people, poles, and other cars....Wish you lived closer to one of my fav UA-camr body shops...He'd have it back sound in a jiffy...heck, he's prolly done 'bout 5 of 'em..soo, its a "walk in the park"....
Your language has changed since you started doing videos with other guys. Please remember you have a young people watching too. I really enjoy watching your videos, keep up what you are doing.
*the Magnum i have it under good authority can easily be swapped over with a hellcat engine, trans and cradle. the rear end will swap over too but takes some customization as would the harness in order for it to work. the interior will swap over too with only minor customization. or these are also good candidates for making 100% electric or hybrid as well*
Someones been watching Junkyard Dave's channel I see. He did a full swap on a magnum complete with the interior including airbags switches window motors antenna seats etc. That's a hell of a job. If Randy hasn't seen it he should definitely watch it. That dude went into serious detail and swapped everything he could even rewiring stuff to make it compatible with the ECM from the donor car.
How are we to live our lives? Copart closings, beaches, movies, bars, restaurants, parks, #'s of stores, schools, events, funerals, weddings, vacations. The only things still left that have not been canceled is fishing and the gun range! However I shouldn't give them ideas.....Keep up the good work Randy.
Another great walkaround video,I hope that you find a house local and get keep all your connections there, its bad enough you having to worry about all of that plus with what is going on in the world today.I hope that everything works out for the best for you and your family.
I love Commandos especially a bullnose. The rusty tailgate is always an issue. Engine looks like it's been out, new freeze plugs and a reman or rebuild tag on the valve cover.
Hey Randy , Love the very little carnage vlogs where someone could have hurt ! I am a G M man too . Love old cars , have a 88 corvette 4plus 3 trans , Had it 15 yrs , had a 75 Bricklin bought in 88 that got totaled sitting under my car port last yr . I am 70 yrs old and bought my first asian made car about 6yrs ago , with a salvaded tittle ,05 elantra . owned for 7 yrs . Great car !I would buy that Kia and chop it up and have some fun ! And i wpild bet you would get pnety of views !
Yes. The reason was to ensure that if the left side lug nuts were not tighten well, the lugs would not loosen and fall off while driving. Physics at work.
I would have been and AMC drive train . it could be a 290 or even a 360 my grandfather. Had one with a 304. In it . that was cool the jeep . thanks for sharing that. Randy
Bet that Optima was a rental car, they're all over the rental fleets. Seems like they never reset the oil change monitor when they have the oil changed, I think the last 3 rental cars I've had were showing the "change oil" light. I rented one a few months ago for a 2000 mile round trip. Got like 38mpg. It was really a pretty nice car.
That Kia would be sent over to the far east and fixed up in no time. Have you seen Arthur Tussiks videos by any chance? Very intricate and delicate work but it really is rather scary.
The jeep commando is the best thing youve ever shown in a walk around! I know you wont buy it, but in my opinion i wouldn't trade that jeep for a new tesla! #jeeplife
Hi Randy, For the cars that are wrecked beyond repair but have a good motor, couldn't you just take the motor out and put it in a different car? I imagine it would be a pain but I'm just wondering?
On the mustang it kinda sounded like it had baffles. On my dads Shelby it kinda sounds like that when the baffles are closed (It sounded louder though)
Are more people in the US looking at more eco friendly less powerful cars rather than 3.0l + size cars or is that market still doing ok? In the UK more and more are looking at smaller less thirsty cars.
That Jeep is not a chrysler it is a AMC Jeep I love the grill on that.
Exactly what I was thinking.
You beat me to it. The V8 will be a 304, not a 318

Oh man I really hope you got that jeep commando ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
When something has an odor or just has a foul smell to it, you’re more then welcome to use TK Tim’s phrase, “smells like beduci “ !! Lol
Stay safe! Here in Italy where i live its really bad, your videos to me are really entertaining!

@@josephhitchcock3381 thanks!
the commando paint job is hiding some badly done rust repairs

@@poplaurentiu4148 yeah, my guess it'll go over a reasonable price.

I like the Veloster, It's worth buying, the Magnum was really cool, but has seen better days.
Jeep might be a good buy also was quite interested in the little Corvair that was next to it
Not a Jeep fan but that one is pretty special and I also liked the corvair not shown on camera next to Jeep
Great walk around today. That Jeep is AWESOME!!!!!! Veloster for the right price could be a steal!
Love your videos watch them all the time. Watching carnage and normal wear and tear and just any kind of damage on cars or anything on your channel is what I like to watch.
Thank you for bringing back carnage
Apocalypse Auction Rebuilds. With your host 'Mad Max' Randy! 😎
Dennis collins at coffe walk would buy that jeep in a hearbeat

Not other guyS. Other guy. TK was a bad influence. Fully agree with you.
Was that a Corvair next to the Jeep in the beginning?
yup
I had a 72 Jeep commando. Ran great and would go anywhere, as long as I could keep a transmission in it.
I'm slightly in love with that little Jeep, stay safe man. 👍👍
Your videos are a lot better now I’m back to watching them

Right before you started the cavalier I was thinking in my head here comes the exhaust leak 😂

At 21:01 there's a blue 4x4 S-10 across the aisle. I would see if it's a ZR2. Those were good trucks.
Love the Jeep, great video!!! Keep up the great work.
Jeep and right next of the ole Jeep is a old Cream colored Corvair. Love it!
That picture is unreal!!!
Keep safe and thanks for the video.
Made me wanna wash my hands after you touched the key in the magnum
Love that AMC Jeep would take that any day. Great walk around. Awesome stuff keep it up.
Randy...get te yellow Hyundai!
That 1972 Jeep commando I would buy that in a heartbeat.
That Kia would be a wrecking yard's wet dream! All new bits, engine & an undamaged front end.
That infinity is an easy fix. For the right price you could profit or make it a daily for Jessica.
Amc, Mopar, Chrysler Dodge they're all the same creatures at heart
Not in the 70's!
Randy.....only the left side has reverse threads on the lugs
Yes. The reason was to ensure that if the left side lug nuts were not tighten well, the lugs would not loosen and fall off while driving. Physics at work.
@@kevinkeeney6693 indeed, you are correct sir
Cool jeep! Very cool of them to let you walk around knowing that’s your bread and butter
Gooooooood moring Randy thanks for a more traditional walk around
The commando has a 304 AMC V8 if it is factory good well built motor AWESOME VIDEO
Good thing about the old jeep is should be easy to work on. hope all is well. stay safe.👍💥💥
That old school jeep is sick
The Jeep all day everyday restored
I would have been and AMC drive train . it could be a 290 or even a 360 my grandfather. Had one with a 304. In it . that was cool the jeep . thanks for sharing that. Randy
The camando ONLY had two motor options ( this one has the ONLY V8 OPTION 304 ) option 2 would have been a Buick V6
Buy the Veloster!!!!

same here randy half of the city is starting to close and some bars and places are closed
wash your hands. Nasty vehicles. Love the first red Jeep you looked at. Have a great day.
Jeeps a 225 Buick and would be a good hunters rig. Has the rife rack in the rear.
dodge 3500 the ride right is a remote for air bags in the back suspension
That Jeep was an AMC era model. Classic!
Stay safe, Randy and kudos to Copart to let you do the walkarounds!
No Chrysler in those things whatsoever, that’s all amc my friend. Good video man I love these things.
I apologize, it was made by Kaiser.
when does the streaming where you and me could talk your a good man
The March one already happened so will have to wait tell April
hey randy, hope u and ur fam are healthy brother! get the veloster man that thing looked awesome!
FE trim on kia means Fleet... usually from hertz or enterprise
The Optima would make a good ute project. Especially when you don't get utes in the USA.
I love the srt8 Magnum
The hood release on the cavalier is where your left knee would be when you're in the driver seat
Was I the only one to notice the Veloster had Dodge/Ram floor mats?
I noticed that too XD
wish you would have checked out the corvair.
That Kia would be sent over to the far east and fixed up in no time. Have you seen Arthur Tussiks videos by any chance? Very intricate and delicate work but it really is rather scary.
Check out the Corvair Randy
Happy Tuesday hope your happy and healthy

Jeep probably a 304
Hey Randy. Copart loves you! As we do too. 304 AMC. You should get the little Hyundai.
If you get the Jeep Commando talk to Dennis Collins from Collins Brothers Jeep in Wylie Tx. He will buy that in a heartbeat.
Lol Randy was like Hell nah with tht key 🔑 he wasn’t folding went straight for the hood latch 💯😂👉🏽🚪
Please check out some early 2000 gm trucks those are nice
The 72 wagoneer I had was factory power brakes
And tell 79 jeep didn't use mopar ignition or trans, typically they had GM ignition and most autos were th400
Love that red Mustang, such a shame a lovely car man, what a lot of body damage though, strip for spares
Randy ,start wearing a commercial Mash Dude ! Your going to get Sick !!!
You should look at more Toyota’s
btw on older chyslers right side had right hand threads, left side had left hand threads, omg i've had too many of those.
That INFINITI is a steal!!
Jeep is cool I love old vehicles
Hi Randy,
For the cars that are wrecked beyond repair but have a good motor, couldn't you just take the motor out and put it in a different car? I imagine it would be a pain but I'm just wondering?
The Jeep in 1972 was built by American Motors and had a 304 V8. Chrysler bought AMC in the 90's.
I have to give it to you that jeep.was beautiful
What about purchasing a home.
Yea that Jeep is cool you should get it
That Mustang is a classic guard rail hit.
Looks like the RAM 3500 might have been a hot shot truck. Did it have a fifth wheel ? Probably rear ended a semi with a loaded trailer
The dodge pu looks like it cornered the back of a semi trailer
On the mustang it kinda sounded like it had baffles. On my dads Shelby it kinda sounds like that when the baffles are closed (It sounded louder though)
That Jeep is :fire:
Love that jeep
I love that jeep
What's with the Sam Crac look?
The cavalier did have a small bit of damage to the crash bar by the foam
Are more people in the US looking at more eco friendly less powerful cars rather than 3.0l + size cars or is that market still doing ok? In the UK more and more are looking at smaller less thirsty cars.
Make a pickup with a huge engine from a small little car like that
I loved the Mustang
Go for that crazy orange/yellow Veloster, easy moola
