The MSA Millenium isn't from the Vietnam era. Also, you have a few British gas masks in there, the S10 and S6. Also, you don't have the latest US army mask.

Yea, it also pains me to see the condition he keeps them in. It seems like he really doesn’t care about how they are stored. He has a lot of them hanging by the straps, ruining them over time. And then on his Mark IV Navy Diaphragm he has both of the filters hanging down, making it even worse. And he has them on styrofoam heads, too.

I've been focusing on one of the two types you used in the second world war but, nobody, as far as I'm aware, has actually dedicated themselves to this niche. Sad really. However...chromium was NOT an issue in the m17 filters though....the amount of hexachromium was FAR less than the standards deemed toxic for humans, it was a stupid small amount...you could literally breathe All of it, and harmless. There was even a massive worldwide study done, with like 5 countries, and it was proven Not to be harmful(and the study was Not paid for by the military or any commercial institute)........everyone should know this by now.....However I THINK the m40 filters did have some sort of Chromium leak issue that WAS potentially bad? Can't remember.
