- The listing of genealogies recorded in scripture is, at times, difficult. What is the significance of such a detailed account? How are we to apply this information to our lives? Through this meticulous record of the descendants of Noah, God demonstrates His interest in people, His faithfulness to His promise, and His isolation of the people group through whom Messiah would come.

14 years after this date of sermon I still can’t get enough Biblical meat to consume. I love this explanation of this genealogy study and how it relates to current events and world map of human migration tribes, start of slavery, and world conflicts and why from the beginning of time.

Absolutely amazing teaching Skip, thank you so much, you are such a learned person. Am really enjoying this series in Genesis. One thing, however, Ken Ham teaches that most Dinasours were actually the size of a sheep, and if they had young ones they would be even smaller. There is every reason to believe that Dinasours were indeed on the ark. In fact dinosaur footprints have been seen alongside that of men's footprints which proves that they were here on earth after the flood.

I just found this channel. Great teaching/sermon.
Question: when and how did the different races come to be? Was it from Noah's three sons according to the regions they located to, in which they multiplied the earth? If so, how was their race changed, was it immediately after the flood while upon the ark. Or did the different races become into existence at the same time the languages were changed at the tower of babel?
Noah and his wife, their three sons and their three wives on the ark. There was no other human population outside the eight that were saved from the flood. They multiplied the nations that they went to. The three sons made up all the There originally are three races or four once we count the Jewish race. I understand where, when and why God changed the languages yet confused on when the different races became into existence?

Skip. I love your thoroughness. I am a Pastor in New England. I was listening to your Genesis chapter 10 breakdown. I wanted to point out one distinction. The modern day Ashkenazi Jew are not descendants of Shem. The modern day Ashkenazi Jews are descendants of Japheth. The Sephardic Jews Also are descendants of Japheth... If you read this Please reply. I need clarity Thanks. Your ministry blesses me immensely. ..
Dinosaurs would fit on the ark if you took babies or small ones. GREAT teaching though!
In chapter ten has written there were languages but in 11chapter has included it was a one language .please i want to know about
Awesome teaching. Only thing is about dinosaurs, at least the land dinosaurs whose nostrils is them the breath of life, would have to be on the ark as God commanded. Even the biggest ones hatch out eggs no bigger than a football.

I first want to say I know we are all God's children. From there, it goes Adam, then Noah. After Noah is 3 descendants, we can be from Jepheth, Shem, or Ham. My question is, if I am a descendant of Ham, does that mean I am cursed like Cannan?
I have faith that I try and listen to the Spirit inside me, but sometimes I feel like I am other people's slave. I work hard to provide for my family. Sometimes I feel like I do what I'm asked of, but it's not always what is best for me. I continue to be there for what is next , but when I ask for help, the same people I helped don't reciprocate. Again, when someone needs help, I'm ready to help. I do want to mention I do count my blessings, and I have a lot to be thankful for. I will continue to read Genesis and hope to find my answer.
I don’t think if you are descents of Ham that you are cursed. The reason is we are under the age of Grace when Christ died on the cross for our sin and whoever accepts him as savior and messiah we are blessed and adopted into His son ship.
In terms of helping others and not receiving back , that is not unusual. That happens to me also. We do our parts and all the blessings come from God and not necessarily in this world. So keep living in faith and God bless you.

I’m just little confused, Pastor Skip said the Assyrians mentioned in Chapter 10:11 from the line of Ham and then said Asshur Vs 22 were Assyrians who were from the line of Shem. Could you please clarify that? Thanks.
Asshur was the second son of Shem. The first-century historian Flavius Josephus said that Shem's five sons were the fathers of five nations, including Assyria.
I'm not clear about Ashkenazi people....are they Semitic or Japhetites?

...likely mixed. Ashkanazi Jews have DNA relating to the other Jewish groups linking them back to Israel-Judea
