My phone has been on 0 percent for like 4 mins
Had the same problem but the only guaranteed solution is to replace the usb sub motherboard which goes for approx 20usd which I did n solved my note 8 issue. Other solutions won't work. It seems some ports have factory defects.
When you say the sub mother board... are you referring to the lower half that has the charging port on it? Cause my issue is that nomatter what charger or cable i use the phone shows its taking a charge but still discharges while plugged in...so in reality its not taking a charge. Also when I poer it off it doesn't take a charge. Can you send me a link to the part you was talking about? Thanks

Try this,unplug the USB turn off your phone after that press the volume up, power and Bixby at the same time then wait till you see the options and choose the restart or restore I dunno I forgot 😁 but I'm sure it's the first option then plug the USB and QUICK PRESS the power button then wait and that's it,it worked for me and I haven't seen that stupid message ever since...oh wait it was just last night lol anyway just try this and I wish you luck peace...

I have i was charging through solor batteries one day phone stop charging...i asked the problem in repairing center and they says it charging base problem..they changed and it's work now but charging is not increasing, not support OTG,not connecting to PC...

Whatever you do, DO NOT follow this guy's repair technique. Metal tweezers? With the battery still connected? And who repairs sub boards when a brand new, dependable replacement is less than $20? I mean, why risk having your shoddy solder job come back a week later?

Did u take the wireless charging mat out. I got a "Phone Temp too low" prompt when i was changing my battery & before i put it all back together i tested to see if it was all good and since i hadn't put the wireless charging mat back in it said yhe phone temp was too low

That's not a probelm.. use your brain... The port is wet, and you plug in the charger... Electric+water not the best friends
