You don't have to do the timing trick with the odin firmware at all! all you have to do is: 1, load into download mode (bixby volume down, power button) 2, click cancel (volume down) 3, load into download mode again 4, click continue (volume up) 5, flash, no error now! No need to flash another bootloader or etc, just every time you want to flash anything use this trick. I do recommend flashing another bootloader, (maybe modem as well) etc, because it will fix bugs like these, speed up your phone, and if you flash it through a zip, instead of odin, ALWAYS do a device check. When flashing firmware (bootloader, modem etc.) You don't need to wipe anything not even dalvik cache and normal cache, just update and go!

@@lada6887 I fixed it by using the latest Samsung firmware and loading it in Odin - bl, ap, cs, csc and got it back to stock. My only issue now is how to root it without it getting stuck in the bootloop again after a restart

got twerp working/putthe zip file to the external card as the inernal wasn't being recognised and n flahed it using twerp but this made the bootloop even worse (befor it was stuck in the Samsung screen and now its constantly rebooting

Am I late to the party? I have an S8. I messed up somehow, not sure what did I do. I tried to flash a rom without seeing the bootloade version. Now I see dm-verity verification failed, cannot flash TWRP as I only official binaries can be installed. Whenever I flash official firmware, I stuck on Samsung S8 logo screen. My KG state is prenormal. I can somehow flash AP without recovery.img, which allows me pass Samsung logo screen, but that leads me to Encryption failed screen and prompts me to erase/reset. When I do, I am again on Samsung logo screen. I love my phone, please help me.
are you using a usb 3.0 port bro ? it was what was messing up my s8 + . my phone will fail everytime if i dont use a usb 2.0 port . wtf is that about ?
dude you saved me, after installing a new rom i forgot to reunlock the oem and usb debuggin (idk if that caused the issue) after the battery went completely out i couldn't start up the phone the FRP lock prevented me booting into TWRP and I also couldn't flash anything trough odin due to various issues this solved it, idk why but i am glad it did
One last question :) When I use ODIN for flash the stock ROM 8.0 for some reason I erase the IMEI and baseband, I don't know how i do this :/ . I have the backup of this , I make with the twrp. I am waiting the 7 days to install the twrp again and restore the backup. You know if without the cell recognize the sim card the UNLOCK OEM option will show up?

Sir you literally saved my s8+. Due to false flashing process i was unable to reapply the stock firmware. Odin would only say can't open com port. So after a 12 hours+ headache, this worked like magic. First i updated the bootloader, then i was able to reinstall the stock firmware, then i got access to the stock bootloader, factory reset, restart and boom my phone lived once again

Hi all I'm looking for some help if possible. I have s8 sm-g950f on custom rom ( pie ) ( twrp) . I want to go back to stock . I have odin3 s3.10.6 and the stock rom download from Sam, I have put all files in right place in odin3 AP/BL/CP/CSC and pressed start , phone is 100% connected. Up in the top left it just says (starting partition) and does nothing else. Any idea would be appreciated. Something to do with twrp ? Idk

I had a problem with s7 edge q the message appeared (custom binary blocks by fap lock) I downloaded the rom on the Samsung website for the SM-G935f model. I tried to install by odin last version with home csc gave fail. Then re-using csc gave pass. Only q has no network now no service already tried other rom.but still no network .. can you help me?
