Edward, how're you liking that Old Town Sportsman Bigwater 132 PDL? Glad to see you and Adam hooked up fishing. Out of curiosity, was this the same trip Manserra Outdoors was on? Tight lines.
if you start your fishin days on 3 hrs of sleep you know your about to have a good time! how many of us anglers drive the night before simply cuz we are to excited to get on the water already!!
I would if I could but I can’t function on less than 6 lol. I usually go a day early so I can take my time and get some good sleep. I usually do some fishing just to get a lay of the land that first day. Day 2 it’s all day
@@ShenpaiWasTaken I Feel that not having as much fun. When I’m tired I’m just really cranky and I get frustrated really easily and if you’re not having a good time, the people you’re with tend not to as well
respect for releasing it man. love watching your videos and how you demonstrate your respect for the ocean and take what u need not some massive shark.
Adam!!! fan of your channel here. I’m gonna start SF bay kayak fishing soon. Mainly preparing for halibut fishing next season. What type of rod should I be using for salt water kayak fishing? length? Power heavy / MH? action ? lure weight? thanks man. look forward to meeting you someday.
I catch black tip shark off topsail island pier log ago. I love grilled shark steaks. The meat above the spine is great for spots. We fill i5 qt cooler with spots on the little shark back. They can't steal it, it is to chewy.
Nice episode thanks for sharing , you ruffed it out in your car , Matts what have you started here😁. It has been hot 3hrs south of you , so hope it kept your car comfortable to sleep in. 🤝
I hear a lot of fishermen says the same thing. “Hooks rust off fish in a few days”. I’m like “hell Fucken no!” What stupid thing to tell people. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh lol...
Hey Adam! If you really want to travel for some content... I'm at my parent's cabin in Montana for the next two weeks and the trout fishing is excellent this year! I've been coming up here since I was a kid so I can show you all the good spots. Some seriously beautiful scenery and wildlife up here too. You really need to spend a month or so here to see it all. Anyway, message me if you want more details. Otherwise, I'll try to hit you up about it sooner for next summer. Also, this invitation is open to any of the bay area UA-cam gang, plus NWFS lol.
Hey, just curious what your thoughts are on the Daiwa reel you're using. Do you like it? How's it held up for you? Anything you're not a fan of? Can't tell if it's a 300 or 400. Love the content! Keep it coming!
I'm confused Adam. I know I saw you cut the line off that seven-gill but at the end you mentioned that you were going to cook him up? Was another one caught that you didn't show footage of?
Good footage. I've stopped taking sharks close to my kayak after a hammerhead, about the size of your 7 gill jumped into my yak while I was trying to remove a hook. But it did make me realized that my legs have the flexibility of an advanced yogi. I wonder what brand live bait tank you have?
@@eddielikesfishing Thanks Eddie, I just clicked on Adams fishing gear list and saw some more detail. Tanks that float seem better in some ways than an electric pump and batteries, lighter and completely water proof:) cheers
Just a good heads up if you have nickel plated hooks it takes months and months and months to rust out don’t get me wrong I use high-quality nickel plated hooks also you don’t want to lose your big fish but I also realize that is a big fact of the matter is those high-quality nickel plated hooks do not rust out like they say It’s like how they have on the package of flushable wipes they say they’re flushable and dissolve they do not I just want everybody to know a cold hard factSo you can live with it and not just lie to yourself to make yourself feel better this is what we do we are fisherman we catch we kill we cook
Such a trip! We almost had identical days with those catches! We both got halibut, sand dabs and seven gills! So sick! 😂

@@eddielikesfishing loving the kayak. Super mobile for its size!!! And yes this was the same trip Martin was on! He was all over the place 🤣

Personally I find it's really rough. I don't enjoy myself as much and my reaction times and actions are much worse.

The face of Edward all happy just by being next to the master 🎣
Thanks for taking a picture at the street fair and you mentioned sharks were on the wish list. Congrats.

Shark week was last week! Nice video as always.
I really enjoyed this video Adam! Good release too. Congrats on the new species! ☺️

looked like a thresher shark to me, Those are great eating!
Nice video as always! If you’re ready for another adventure, the tuna bite is going off in San Diego
If you were ever in the military, you can sleep standing up, upside down or under a 80lb ruck. If you don't know what a ruck is, then enough said. LOL
I asked this on another video and no answer. What is the black floating thing with the blue buoy on top? What’s it used for?
Great video, great sharks, vivid color on both videos. I see you had rods out in the surf for perch in the end. Catch any?
thanks for checking out both vids!
mann yo.. thats scary out the yak i just subbed for that nice video and extreme fishin shew scary stuff
Shark or a fish. Excellent deduction skills
I’ve been looking forward to this upload
Which pole are you using? Brand? Size ?

Last week I got the same thing 27” slab and two 8 foot 7 gills in the same area
Hook rust out in couple days? I highly doubt that. Months probably
Yep, or years if it's SS

It'll take a long time for the hook to rust out.

Do Cali halibut taste just like pacific halibut?

Cool Adam its my breaktime at work thanks something to watch.
Officially the vid that makes me never want to go into the ocean anymore LOL. 😰
First fish looked like a flounder
what is that floating blue thing ?

I want to know the same thing, I’m pretty sure it’s a diawa Lexa and I’m on the fence between one of those and an okuma coldwater LP
You guys see Karen's kids anymore? Still waiting for that dock vid. Lmao.
Will you go for bluefin? They’re close dude.
Oh a 7 gill shark never heard of that
I'm confused Adam. I know I saw you cut the line off that seven-gill but at the end you mentioned that you were going to cook him up? Was another one caught that you didn't show footage of?
he was saying the guy he was fishing with caught one and cooked it on his channel. the link to that video is in the description of this video
@@Hook2Cook must’ve been the part where he turned away from the camera and mumbled something to his friend.

Perfect way to spend my lunch break 🤞
I’m on my lunch break too haha
Looks like Mr. Markus’ spot!!
Cool 7 gill!
What kind of shark was that ?
was that a starry flounder you released?
No that was so type of sole starrys are easy to identify because there fins have black stripes
Smaller fish also means less toxins to eat....
Does anybody knows what battery Adam is using for his motor?
what length of blue rod do you use?
Haha. Im out fishin at a local pier in the bay area. And right when he mentions a ray. I hook a ray. Landed like 20 lbs. thank you for the luck

Nice shark, I've heard that shark can taste good.
go for a thresher !
Yea! Go for thresher Adam! 😬
Balloon or big float with 6ft leader live Mac 👀 or you can use the down rigger
That two rod tangle reminds me of every time I’ve ever been fishing lol
and that. is why I don't swim in the ocean.. lol
Where were you fishing?
Central CA. Looks like Cambria area-ish.
Keep the shark they are good eating. Plus good for you masculinity. Hehehehe
Lets see if he caught a white
my co workers love to eat sharks..
2 people don’t know how to fish!!
