I always thought of Eli as the glue that keeps VP harmonies together. He's really amazing, with insane range (they all have a very wide range, I know). And don't even let me start with his riffs and runs! 🤯
yeh, thats a huge benefit they have, their ranges. no matter who they collaborate with, be it soprano or baritone, any of them can just fill in the missing vocal part as needed.
that man is amazing! great work tracking down these clips. Every time I hear him I call in love all over again. It was nice to see Earl in the superstition number at the Bitter End as well ❤️🏴
Thank you for all your videos about Voiceplay. Love them all. I direct Alot of reactors and people here when they want to know more about these great guys.
Several years ago Lexington Miles made a few videos called "Voiceplay Funny Moments 1-6" . In one of them is a clip of Eli in one of his previous rock bands with long black frizzy hair. He looks so much different. I'm guessing that is why he shaved his head lol.
not that I'm aware of, but I guess a cappella singers get so much training in singing on pitch without instruments to hide their mistakes that they get good at staying on pitch while singing. he's a seasoned singer, and that's a song he's bound to have performed *many* times as a rock singer.
@@huldradraco Could be. But what made me wonder is those early videos from his rock band days-his riffs were just as tight back in the day as they are today, and he has a reputation for this-lots of reactors have commented. A lot of singers, even pros, kind of slide into notes at times, especially when they’re doing a run. Not Eli. His are always super clean.
@@lkayh all I know is, the question of perfect pitch has been asked to at least one of the voiceplay guys during a webchat (can't quite recall who and when this was but remember it getting asked) and they answered no, and didn't say anything about Eli having it. especially Geoff is quick to point out anything that the other guys are really good at compared to him, so if they knew of Eli having perfect pitch I'm sure Geoff would have said so, he likes complimenting the others. Eli is a fabulous singer, and you don't need perfect pitch to stay on pitch. I'm guessing he just has a very good ear for pitch.
Eli has an amazing voice! Great look into a different era of his musical journey. Glad he found Voiceplay! Thanks, Huldra❤
I am a rock and metal fan, and Eli voice is for rock ❤
Stevie Ray Vaughn - "Sweet little thing" makes me miss my hubby so much. 😔
Eli - so good.
❤❤❤
I get so excited every time I hear part of Hero. I could listen to that man sing anything for hours.
Hero sounds amazing from him... wish he’d do it again
it's an awesome song! can't watch the video, i'm too old for that flashy/intense stuff, but the music is amazing! ❤
Me too.

Eli had an impressive set of hair. from what I recall he just got tired of his unruly hair and decided to shave it off. 🤘
Thank you, again you find more great clips of a man with a great voice
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching 😀
Does Eli have perfect pitch? Listening to his live singing-he’s spot on even when he riffs.
