I wish my macbooks internets connection speed was enough to watch this video, at least

I spent 30 minutes today running WiFi tests over and over between a brand new MacBook Pro with M1 Pro chip and an IPhone XR. Kept running the tests at the exact same time literally sitting right next to my wifi (which is supposed to be 200mbps). Every single time, the iPhone XR easily beat out the brand new MacBook Pro wifi…. The wifi signal was jumping back and forth like crazy from 150 to 30… but regardless of how high or low the strength was, the iPhone was getting the better signal… at both 2.4 and 5.0!
Try to buy lan cable and the adapter

@@edpwarf683 what’s funny is since this post, now my iPhone XR runs like trash for the last couple months. Now I think Apple is throttling older phones…. Even though I can’t stand Spectrum internet, and it does drop at times, anytime I have issues, my other devices work fine and it always is my Apple devices….so I know it’s them and not wifi.
@@NOT_A_TOP_FAN I update my mac book pro 2018 eith touchbar core i7, and i realized that everythin loaded slowly, now I checked that in all my devices the speed is normal, except in the mac, from 100 mbps I only receive 2 to 3 mbps 🙁
My iMac 2019 core i3 is is on 150mbs and goes down to 30 to 40 then bumps back up and it keeps doing it but only with my iMac
I'm currently using a 2013mbp an iphone11, an iphone 7, a lenovo laptop and a desktop computer.
iphone11 - 120mbps (wifi)
iphone7 - 100mbps (wifi)
lenovo - 110mbps (wifi)
desktop - 120mbps (cable)
2013mbp - 60mbps (wifi)
...
I guess Apple is not very subtle when they want you to update your laptop.

reat help for my Mac. Is Tx Rate the same as the download speed that you should see when running a speed test? My Tx Rate ranges between 500-900Mbps, but my download speeds on Okla speed test usually only go to 300Mbps. I'm using Xfinity with Arris S33 modem and high end Asus router RT-AX1800As Router using 5GHz.

what da heckkkkk, I almost tried anything, deleting all my files to free up my storage, or resetting but none of them worked... thinking that the new version of mac update is the reason why my mac is running slow and the apps take a lot of time to open up when they connected to the internet, but it was all about that EXTRA TICK on that FUCKING WEB PROXY,,, make sure everything is fucking unticked. Massive thanks.

thats the internal ip adress. Not even the best hacker can hack into this in a day.

i have to put my laptop (mac) on the router to get connected and browse. it wont connect otherwise. and even after connecting, the signal is extremely weak that i have to move the router and laptop to get better signal. cant even use the internet from like 10 cm away from router.
it works good in mobile, tv and other laptops.

this vid should not be called "troubleshooting" its guide of what buttons "wifi settings" and "wireless diagnostics" has.
at the end of the video you said "if you are technical enough".. for what? for reading 300+ megabytes of text logs? then I don't need this video at all

You can click on your wifi icon, or click on wifi with option pressed. Rewatch the video dude. I don't think you're going to find an explanation any easier to understand than this one.
How to send diagnostic report to apple?
hold alt and then click on apple symbol and then click create dignostic reports
