that looks amazing!! great job, how does the grafting look up close? im amazed. so in sewing the bust darts go in the opposite direction, always hard to remember that in knitting they open up towards the middle
@@onewilddesigns im soooo confused, i'll take a look at gone to seed, was on my to knit list anyway! thanks. i took a look and understand the drawing but im super confused as how to knit those rows to get that shape. id love to have seen your progress more incrementally and up close. btw im just a knitter with shaping issues.
Hi ladies! Loving the podcast and the wisdom you're sharing around making garments we will actually love. I find myself wanting more: I really struggle to decide between vertical and horizontal bust darts and when is the 'right' time to use which one? Also: do you even need darts when knitting an oversized garment? I find that it just creates a 'balloon' effect instead of making things more flattering? Would really love some answers to these questions that I've literally had for YEARS! Please educate me 😁

@@onewilddesigns Thank you. Just after I posted that comment, I found the pattern on Ravelry. I bought that one and your kid's sweater with the bobbles. I love generic patterns like the LBD, because you can do SO much with them. Hope you don't mind that I call it generic.
