Carrying on a little tradition we started in 2021, we headed up to Grand Marais for Liz's birthday weekend to do some rockhounding. It wouldn't be a U.P. rockhounding trip without a good YooperLite hunt, eh! We busted out the high powered UV light and hit the beaches of Lake Superior. We did very well and had an absolute blast doing it. Although it was very, VERY cold in the wind we made the best of it and made some memories we'll never forget. Thanks for having OPE Rocks Grand Marais, you have a beautiful spot!

It really is such a beautiful spot! We had a blast, a little colder than expected. My camera was acting up during the day with the temps but overall it was another memorable weekend in GM!
