What a cute place. I love the stone walls and the skylight. The attic would make an adorable child's room in the future. What a deal on your kitchen cabinet.

Thanks Cindy! We've since been busy repointing a lot of the stone walls that you can see in this video, we'll share more about them soon!

The slope of the kitchen floor is deliberate, you would start to scrub and swill the water from the top end and slew the water to a drain at the lower end. I LOVE the look of this cottage...it 'feels' as if it has been very much loved at some point. Good luck and happiness in all you do. 💝

That is very interesting! I love learning about the way they built things in the past, thank you for the info! 😊 We have started uncovering the kitchen floor which is super exciting, that will be in the next video this week.

Let me respectfully offer some advice. Having worked as a sound recordist for twenty-five years, many would often joke that the video was the most important aspect of any broadcast and the audio was of little significance. They’d accept jump cuts, poor colour correction and out-of-sync video, but the “only time” they noticed the sound was when it wasn’t there. Spend the $100 and buy a mic.
