- How to install Cabbage ENB for Skyrim is a mod tutorial on the popular ENB known as Cabbage. Cabbage ENB is for Skyrim Anniversary Edition and it drastically improves your visual experience. yea my game is dark asf
Do people actually like Nat 3? Cabbage looks good but NAT 3 weathers is way too dark and takes away about 70% of the default brightness.
if I have cabbage and I want to get rid of that darkness caused by NAT III what other alternative do u suggest instead?

I can’t tell actually. It should be more performance friendly if you disable complex grass lighting in the enb settings.

why does the lighting look nothing like yours? I followed every step and the game looks the same as original just less fps...
Am I not supposed to download the rest of ENB series? I saw other enb series files in your folder so I'm confused, that's where I should be enabling my parallax and such is in the ENB series ini right?
The preset takes care of that for you. The initial one is just to make it work.
Dont know why it didnt work for me. Followed your video exactly step to step, but installed it, and everything was looking crooked weird and my fps dropped to 10

Worked, but it have a little blurry effect when walking, like it's a motion blur effect, i already disabled DOF

Hey, thanks for the video ! I was wondering, I'm not a big fan of lux via, will it work if I just get the mod's ressources as indicated in the Lux's instructions ?
You can also use ELFX Shadows instead

It should. I'm glad the mod author included the resource files only as an option. I'm in the middle of reinstalling everything and switching to ModOrginizer2, or I'd test it out and answer you.
It works great but now i have black bars up and down like i'm watching a movie. How to get rid of it ?

Thanks for the tutorial. Is ENB Helper a requirement for Cabbage? it's listed as a requirement on NAT's page. I ask because i had some weird/purple (not from missing textures) shines from sun reflections in my game and installing ENB Helper fixed them
I don’t think I’m using it in my setup and it still looks good
I have been trying to figure out for hours what was causing that purple glow around fire effects and reflections. This finally fixed it, thanks.
@@c4chanse you are using it. the way you opened the UI to switch off the black bars is done through ENB Helper
i get a weird green lens flare sort of thing on my left hand when holding out certain spells and my game flashes sometimes when i sheath my weapon, is this normal?

Hi there... I followed these instructions exactly as you said and now my game crashes upon running SKSE. I'm met with the title screen and then I am booted out of the game only to then be faced with my Mod Organizer 2. I don't know what I did wrong, please help!
How mods do you have?
@@c4chanse i had 98 mods installed but from what i saw it wasn't because of a mod conflict between the mods you instructed to install nor the enb... maybe it was something wrong with the instructions
I don’t think so as I followed them and others also followed them without issue. Most likely there is some conflict with your other mods. You might also not have SKSE installed correctly. What you can do is look at each required mod for Cabbage and see if any of your current mods conflict with those. To check that you’ll look at the cabbage mod pages and see if they mention mods that aren’t compatible.
Dunno if this could be it, but there are mod conflicts you have to set rules for with just the mods from this video.

Any idea why I might not have the shader parameters tab? The set conditions are looking decent but I'd really like to have all of the options for tweaks later on.
If you look closely in the video I click a box in the enb menu to enable it.
is there a way to get rid of the blurring when focused on close objects?
That is the DOF or depth of field. You can disable it in the enb menu.
anpy idea why my pc is blocking the Cabbage install? maybe the program that detects that stuff is just being overly sensitive but still sketchy for me haha
The install or download? Malwarebytes tries to block the direct-download link, but I can click to ignore it. I haven't had anything block the file itself once it's downloaded. I think it's just because it's a link to direct-download a zip file, and not every zip file on the net is good for your pc. This one appears to be fine.
About NAT, do we keep the esp or hide it like some ENB's want it?

It could be set to a different key. Some other common ones are shift+enter, num lock, you can also google how to change it. It’s not too bad.

Hey mate, I deleted ALL files from previous ENB with the manager but somewhat there is d3dcompiler_46e.dll and d3dcompiler_47e.dll what do I do ?
Those are needed for enbseries to work

I really like that you showed how to install Lux, ELEFX is nice but from my experience it more commonly has the four light glitch or whatever it's called, it's when there's more then four lights being casted on something which causes a really crappy no light bug. Amazing video!

I know its an old video but every guide i have followed on how to get the ENB working results in the same horrible looking graphics for me, not sure why, just always looks terrrible, Lighting is terrible its just hard to see
If you go through some of the comments on the Nexus page, people are having multiple discussions. Should have enough details on how to fix, and I recall at least one thing was fixed through disabling fog. Mileage may vary.
I have missing textures in some areas, primarily dungeons/caves. Is there a specific order these mods need to load in?
I did because I accidently installed both "Lux" and "Enhanced Lights and FX", after trying one or the other the blue mesh only appeared with just Lux so i went with the other (ELFX) instead.

NAT is conflicting with skyrim particle patch for enb, and smooth sky mesh, should i remove those two mods completely?
You can try disabling them
Dont worry its fine with the particule patch
What are the chances you could do an updated version of this, Im having issues with Kiloader(especially when its trying to find its dll dependencies in another dll) and the new requirements that were not previously required when you did this, please.
using EVlas DVlass it was working perfectly but grass was loading as i was walking in far distance so i switched to Dyndaload and export textgen and Dyndalod zip installed but grass wont work but cabbage works

This enb kinda takes a toll on my GTX 1650 Super. Is there any way I can get an enb with good graphics but still performance friendly? The skyrim upscaler barely did anything

Oh yeah that one is sick. Check out the mod author smooth or skypia. That particular mod was rapid bow fire I think.
