I used to run around 250 mods... each one installed manually, reading hundreds of installation instructions for hours, carefully balanced load order, resolving conflicts on my own, trial and error tweaking... and after all that I'd still have crashes occasionally but this.... this is amazing. I can't wait to try it.

Notes: 13:06 - He talks about adding the Skyrim Script Extender tool in Vortex. The new Vortex has this at the BOTTOM of the window now in the Tools panel. There's a plus button there. For some reason, Skyrim Script Extender 64 was already displaying in Tools. I had to restart Vortex to allow me to Run. (Was disabled.) 20:09 - The first time I clicked "Launch Nemesis Behavior Engine", it failed. I updated engine again, clicked "Launch Nemesis Behavior Engine" once more and it worked.
This is insaneeee. My modlist usually looks exactly like this regarding the graphics and now with a simple one-click install it saves sooo much time. Everyone, make sure to leave a like because it is well deserved!!
Being an old MO2 user & after a couple of horrible attempts at making sense of Vortex, I finally took the plunge after watching this video. First off, KUDOS & more for all the work you did. The step by step instructions were flawless & worked well. I have 1,195 hours logged into Skyrim & from what I can see it looks like I am playing a brand new game!! Awesome!!! Thank you!!
okay so for those who has crashes upon loading into the game, you have to disable part 1 SSE engine fix. apparently the modlist included dups of mods OP addressed during the fix phases of this video. i went through all the mods that were causing the crashes and apparently this "part 1 SSE engine fix" is the culprit. if you still having crashes. my easiest suggestion is to disable all mods(not uninstall) then filter mods by catergory and enable all in the catergory and so on. and when you find the mod that crashes your game, thats the one that needs to be removed completely, hope this helps and happy modding !
NOTE: sadly this collection is no longer working as intended and requires an major overhaul, it's no longer up to date and doesn't work with multiple issues such as loading order conflicts and mod rules containing cycles.
@@gastonvarela7425 Sorry for the late reply, sometimes the game wouldn't start at all, then the lighting outdoors was really bad, random NPCs have dark faces or bald heads, there's blue "pebbles" all over the countryside (I'm guessing not rendering objects), the grass floats, and Torches create flashing light "boxes" / squares that flash over the screen, same goes for the "flames" spell.
Between this and your PC Builds with Apex, you've pretty much proven what I already knew, that you're my favorite YTer and you're just absolutely awesome! This is simply amazing! Thank you so much for making modding more accessible to all players.

@@Godvadder98 i realised that revision one list is correct. Just make sure you have the latest skse installed. The latest game version now works with this list.
All the people saying this no longer works did not properly follow the guide. I just downloaded all this again on a brand new PC and it works perfectly. Follow the directions in the correct order and it WILL work. If it isn't working you are the one that messed up, not the dude running the mod list.
I'm a minute into the video and teary-eyed with happiness. I haven't played Skyrim since the Anniversary Edition update broke everything, and was trying to talk myself into settling for vanilla again. Thank you, people who put this together and ESO for this video, for the work that went into this setup. Skyrim AE was a big slap in the face. i didnt touch skyrim since then. i had a 2 day session of modding skyrim, i finished everything, started to play 5 hours and then AE came around

I greatly appreciate that this exists. I am an experienced modder, I have spent hundreds to thousands of hours tailoring my mod lists. Adding mods, creating bash patches, running loot, figuring out why things are crashing, etc. I have gotten my modlist up to 400-500+ mods multiple times. It feels great to just click download on a pretty good modlist and watch it install on its own.

Well, I'm speechless. Clear instructions that just worked. I've always had trouble modding but this has given Skyrim new life. Thanks for all the effort you must have put in.
All those having trouble. IT WORKS!! step one: Roll back Skyrims build to :1.6.353 (instructions on this with 'FrameCounting') step two: Roll back SKSE to : 2.01.05 (find in archives of site) Step three: follow instructions with ESO. Unless you wish to go manually through every 478 mods individually with risks on bad orders etc just pay the 7 dollars for the monthly subscription. I couldn't get it to download correctly or really work until i just paid for it and now its working like in vid. just remember to cancel subscription when everything is done and working. mine is still downloading but will update when finished and let you know if game works when i am finished with ESOs guide. So far so good though. Edit: downloads finished, I searched for all 4k mods in vortex and deleted them so my computer didn't start smoking (running on laptop 3070, i7, 32g ram) followed rest of instructions and what do you know.... IT WORKED!!! woooh. Thank you ESO and team
@Matthew V hmmmm, what are your specs for your pc? mine was a little laggy and was getting about 20fps.. I was going to adjust skyrims start graphical settings to try improve fps and delete some other mods. but haven't found the time to fine tune for my pc..
Hi, is it normal that the game takes a very long time to load even the main menu? I gave it like an hour and got nothing. I use an HDD 7200rpm for the mass drive mods.

If you currently can't get the script extender to be the primary, try editing it so help it find the application. I had that problem for awhile myself When it says C-drive is full you'll have to go into appdata and delete all the zips in there
Incredible work here. I cannot say thanks enough for your work and effort here to put together the best guide I have come across for modding Skyrim that has resulted in the most smooth, enjoyable experience I have ever had in all the years I have played Skyrim. Everyone needs to do themselves a favor and try this out!

You're doing Gods' work, but please, PLEASE make an add-on mod list for gameplay. I want to re-install the game, but graphics alone are useless without all the extra quests, areas, dungeons, npcs ecc... Thanks a lot for the effort put into keeping this game alive.
Update: After 11 hours to download and install this mod pack there were a few little hiccups but I was able to complete the install and it seems to be working ok. There have been a few quirks in the game but I'm not sure if it's just Skyrim or one of the mods. Nothing game-breaking so far. The game looks AMAZING. This has made me want to play Skyrim again and that's really saying something! Great job putting this together. It was a long road but it's nice to have it behind me.

that's because you're not downloading it due to most likely not being a premium member. cycling through the mods is a showcase, not downloading the actual mods themselves. you have to either manually download them each at a time or you can get premium and download them all automatically.
What a gift! Thank you all for your hard work. My favourite mods are Inigo & Immersive College of Winterhold. Inigo is a no brainer, he's just the best follower in Skyrim. I love the changes to Winterhold that make it into a place that actually *feels* like a college. Really look forward to seeing and hearing what you are doing as time goes on.

Just wanted to note, I had a problem with this updated list. the mod "Unique Border Gates Fixes - CC Goblins Patch" caused an issue for me. my game would crash every time it saved. Ran the Crash log and it pointed me towards this mod being the issue. I disabled the mod and game runs fine afterwards. If anyone one has game crashing when saving or entering new area forcing autosave, I'd look at this mod being the issue.
How'd you figure that out? I have the same issue and disabling the mod unfortunately didn't do much :( Crash logger says it might be a RAM issue, which is surprising because I have 32gb of RAM
9/28 high end revision 5 still working. All you have to do is downgrade the game version to "1.6.353.0.8" and use "skse64 2.1.5 rel6". Thank you for this video mate you'r awsome.
I had a hankering for Skyrim yet again. I’ve played with a few mods before but have never completely overhauled the game. I followed the directions to a Tee last night and everything works great. All I can say is thank you so much for making this mod list! Can’t wait to get off work today.
Not only for beginners. Every other year I play the game again but it takes often days to read up on new mods and install hundreds of them which are hopefully compatible. That's such a good idea.
Built a new PC and was like, fuck it, let's play Skyrim again. I did not feel like going through hours of modding for the fifth time, but I sure as shit won't play vanilla. So this was nice!
Unfortunately this mod does not work anymore and crashes. You cannot even press the esc button to get into the menu. Had issues with the nemesis engine too
This was absolutely brilliant. 🙂 I can see some people are having issues, or are calling this video outdated, but that wasn't my experience. I followed EVERY step one by one, and made sure to let Vortex fully finish it's thing. I downloaded all the mods manually, and as long as you just DON'T install anything manually by activating any mods in the "Mods" tab, then it will work. 🙂 Also make sure to click "Deploy" when it pops up, and when the popup appears where you need to click the link, just pick the same one he showed at the start. Then the collection finishes. 👌 Also, I had to update the nemesis software twice, in order for it to complete the behaviour.
Well the problem isn't that the video is outdated, but Vortex isn't giving everyone the option to deploy the mods. It didn't for me and I can't deploy anything because of a different game im assuming that I'm having issues with. I can't even remove that game from Vortex or the mod list for Skyrim. It tells me there is no deployment method active, so Vortex is the issue, not the mod list itself.
Absolutely incredible stuff, easy to follow and works a treat, looks absolutely stunning. I had one issue I found the fix for I'll put here in case anyone else has the same, when I was looking at certain female NPCs my FPS would just tank down to the single digits, which is not normal because my set up is very high end with a 3090ti, so I knew it was something to do with the mods, after playing around I disabled the AIO KS Hair Physics mod and the problem was solved, the only downside is certain NPCs hair doesn't blow in the wind but it's not noticeable when everything else is perfect.
i have this problem but i disabled the aio bijin hair physics mod and it still does it, there is a bijin hair physics fix still installed i wonder if thats causing it, there is no AIO KS Hair Physics mods in my list

Doesnt work. Dozens of mod conflicts that override the same file, some create loops or arent even available (404 on nexus). Skyrim didnt even get to the main menu
Same I am tired of keep trying to mod with it I'm jus going to maybe download them all individually it's better then wasting time download 519 mods and getting absolutely no where
After a painstaking two days trying to figure out what was going on with the modpack, I found a solution to why just about none of the mods were working. There are four mods I found in the latest modpack that are no longer supported in Vortex. Its the "3D Pine Forest Debris SSE" mod, "Ashbound 1.1" mod, "Dawn of Skyrim-Immersive Citizens" mod, "Natural Eyes" mod, and "Rainbows SE" mod. You can also check by checking for updates, and the ones that come back saying they couldn't look it up, just mean they are no longer supported by vortex. I just disabled them instead of deleting them, but I'm sure it'll have the same effect. I haven't tested everything fully for any major breaks, but its a step in the right direction. Vortex will also yell at you about mod dependencies, but I just ignored them.

Could you help? This works for the 'Next Gen' pack but my pc couldn't handle it, trying the 'Core' pack and I'm back to this same issue. Tried checking for updates but all seem to come back fine, but loading in and I'm getting the same issues with missing rock textures and esc killing the game. Any pointers on what to do?
it just don't work. I tried to use the full mod list, following all the steps and don't work at all. I meet the PC requirements and the game runs at 30-40 fps, which is playable, but when i turn the camera back, the game fps drops to 4 or 5 fps. I tried to enable and disable everithing to test which mod is causing that problem, with no results. In fact, the mod order just collapsed and mod conflicts appear with no reason, even cyclical conflicts which can't be solved (i would have to check each mod conflict individually, and assuming there are about 500, with about 5 to 10 conflicts per mod, I would probably have to do no less than 10,000 checks, which is totally unaffordable). If some one can tell mi how to fix this entire mountain of scrap, I'd be really grateful. And no, LOOT can't solve this conflicts either.

For anyone wondering why they're getting stuttering, even on high end computers, yes, ENB is very demanding and can hog up a lot of FPS, but for those wondering why they still get stuttering even when using the Shift+Enter command and disabling the ENB via the Global section, and even when lowering resolution to 1440p or even 1080p, I discovered that it's the LOD mods. Primarily, Dynamic Distance Objects LOD. I completely removed all LOD mods and replaced all lighting mods (such as Enhanced Lights and FX and all Lux mods) with Realistic Lighting Overhaul, all while maintaining all ENB mods. I also removed Volumetric Mists since it even states when you install it that it can cause a large performance hit. Yes, when you're outside in open areas with little clutter, far away things look a little ugly, but I saw a night and day difference in performance. No more stuttering in towns, no more stuttering in the open world, nothing. If you want to lower resolution to 1440p or 1080p for silky smooth FPS with no stuttering, that's possible now. Others in the comments recommended turning off Physics related mods. I didn't need to. Again, this is just my experienced, but LOD's are the real culprit for the stuttering issue. My specs: i9-10980HK 32GB RAM RTX 3080
I'm currently not using any LOD mods. DDOLOD and Volumetric Mists both have a performance friendly option when installing them but I haven't personally tried them, so I can't confirm if it still causes stutters or not :/

@@igorbrito1851 Thought I replied to this but I guess UA-cam said no. But yes, you can run this modlist without the ENB. However, some mods, like Particle Lights for ENB and other ENB associated mods, won't work without it. In other words, you won't get any of those nice fancy glows from objects. This is on top of the fact that Vanilla Skyrim has a blue/cold look to it that ENB's tend to correct, bringing more color and vibrance (ReShade's are an alternative though for color correction). My recommendation, if you want to use an ENB but don't want the huge FPS hit, use Rudy ENB SE for Cathedral Weathers. This will give you an ENB and enable the use of other ENB dependent mods, but won't eat your FPS as much as Ultimate ENB. It has a more fantasy look then realism, but still great quality overall. By default, it has black bars at the top and bottom of the screen for that widescreen cinematic effect, but this can be removed by going to Skyrim Special Edition>ENBSeries>ENBEffectPostPass.fx.ini and changing "Enable Letterbox Bars=True" to "False". Installation of this ENB, as with all ENB's, is the same as described as the video.
Fantastic video - Everything worked fine and exactly as described, it was clear, concise and well structured (had to run Nemesis twice, many people figure that out). I am running a 10700k + 32GB RAM + a 3080, 1080p @ 60fps, few dips to 30 here and there but all was well. However, nights are just insanely dark. Even sitting in a dark room and tuning contrast and gamma, I cannot see anything beyond 5 feet without a torch - enemies do not care how dark it is and can see me, while I cannot see them. I used SHIFT+F12 to turn off the ENB and the game turned YELLOW. I spent 2.5 hours tweaking the ENB ini in-game (SHIFT+ENTER) but could not fix it - too dark with it on, yellow when it was turned off or removed. I suspected this was a .ini issue, so I had to uninstall the game, delete my prefs and .ini files from my documents. I uninstalled every mod and started over with the low-spec mod list instead. Runs even better than hi-spec, but the game is extremely blurry - I have never gotten a headache from a game before, but the blurriness gave me one. There is no ENB and no mod that I can tell would cause this - in-game bloom, godrays and AO are turned off. Meanwhile, the grass and plants are also all floating 1-2 feet off the ground, and it also covers natural clearings like bandit camps, gardens and farms. I literally stumbled upon a bandit camp because the fire, tents and bedrolls were hidden under so much vegetation, it was very immersion-breaking. Great collection of mods and great video, just disappointing that I cannot get a similar result even so.
@@AtakenSmith Yes, I tried with and without additional settings. Nothing worked and I spent hours tweaking the ENB settings. The mod collection is phenomenal, but in the end I opted for a clean install of Skyrim with the Immersive and Pure Collection on NexusMods (Skyrim SE). It was a one-click install and after running the game, saving, quitting and running again, it has worked fine since. Loving the mod collection, too. I'd love to give the ESO mods a go but as a new dad I don't have the time to do proper troubleshooting. Maybe next year..
Hey @@RaiKov had the same problem but seem to have fixed it. When you shift+enter in-game with the ENB, pull up the setting "SKYLIGHTING" (bottom left under enbseries.ini) and change the "AmbientMinLevelNight" to 0.50 and that should increase the brightness which is what it did for me. You can increase the brightness of everything else that says "Dawn" or "Night" in it to 0.50 which will help. Also, you don't need to hit "Apply changes" after you change the values because, for some reason, it resets to default values after you do that.
for anyone who is struggling with blurry effect while they are outside, make sure you isntaled ENB and Ultimate Immersion SE ENB correctly, I have readded files in correct way and now it works flawless
It appears that the mods have been updated. I checked for updates in Vortex and over 100 mods I had to download manually. Some directly downloaded, some took me to the Nexus page to select the file to download. In doing this I noticed most of these mods had different names and the mod listed in Vortex did not appear as written. I also found several mods that stated they had update but the Nexus page had no newer file. Only thing I didn''t try is to manually search in Nexus for each file. I'm also thinking that maybe the mod list needs to be updated to match the updated mods on Nexus.
Looks really cool, couple of questions. Can it be installed also with MO2 ? Do you guys also use DYNDOLOD ? And can it be used or is it not necessary? How stable could it be if I add some more mods outside of this pack? Cause I have some core armor/weapons mods I just cant play without and would like to add them too :D
I was wondering the same thing, but ultimately it should. I've been playing Skyrim VR for the last few years (I can't convince myself to go flat again), and in my experience, all Skyrim SE mods work with VR. I don't think I've come across one just yet that doesn't. Some mods DO have VR-specific files, but by and large most SE mods should just snip right over to VR. The only thing I'm not sure about is if I need to uninstall the SE and Skyrim VR, then reinstall both the SE and Skyrim VR along with SKSE and whatnot. After that, all that is needed is to get PLANCK, HIGGS, VRIK, and Spellsiphon and you're ready to rock. :)
@@magusx1125 i have a 2060 super runs 99% of games i play on ultra min 70fps this is game is awful fps rise i also have a friend with this modlist his is around 40 to on a 3080 i think its something wrong with the mods tbh
ive got a question, i did everything like in the video. but when i play, i cant press esc or j. it closes the game imidietly. so i cant see quests or change options. anyone know why ?
buddy please do a updated tutorial version of how to install this, I past the hole day trying to do this, did everything like u did step by step but I keep getting a lot of conflicted files, my nemesis is not working, the SKE scrip I had to setup myself since it did not appear to me like yours.. I just gave up. Shame, it seems like an awesome job but I cant use it...
If this helps anyone reading : I run this on a 3090 with 32gb ram and I got stutters sometimes walking around whiterun and other towns. The stutters were too annoying to play with. As per another comment here, I disabled hair physics and I have 0 stutters as of right now. So consider trying this if your game is laggy even on a high end PC
@@joeryan9631 on vortex, under the mods tab - search for Bijin. You should see bijin hair physics and bijin hair physics bug fix. I just disabled both and it worked fine for me. (Run nemesis)
I agree with most of the comments' here. It is pretty clear that this video is out of date and you are sucking a ton of time out of folks. I have a brand new machine with a ton of horse power and I cannot get this to work. Please take this video down or update. A channel of this size should know better
We make no money from you downloading it. However nexus/vortex make money from their premium sub service and I don't know what they do with it since we are not affiliated.
It would have been nice to know we basically have to purchase a premium Vortex account if we want to avoid waiting half a century for everything to download. I did end up purchasing it, but that should have been mentioned earlier than 20 minutes into the video smh.
I’m in actual disbelief that this mod tutorial works in 2025… it is the first time I’ve ever modded anything and I was so afraid I’d be unsuccessful. I’m blown away! It looks unbelievably great and feels like I just stood in line for the release at GameStop in 2011. Breathtakingly beautiful while remaining true to and enhancing the vanilla art style and gameplay. also using compiler enb version 503 which is the current one but ive tried all the older versions as well and it wont launch unless the d3dcompiler is deleted
im so confused... i read most of the comments here too... i rolled back to the previous skyrim SE version, finallyu found a 2.1.5 skse, had to make place for TWO times the 69 GB on my ssd by deleting 3 games, and the Vortex downloader just stopped at 99% Download and Install, gives me a popup to download the LATEST version of the SKSE on the website, and skyrim WAS bloory as in your video when i first opened it up, but it also gave me an error notification inside the game that the mods wont work because my SKSE inst up to date! I literally dont know what word of mouth i should follow. This has been a humongous waste of everything, of course thanks to bethesda updates, but an updated video is much needed to warn and clerify, because there are clearly a bunch of other errors happening, even tho i followed everything to the T and even downgraded the game and the skse to THIS videoès version to be able to follow along... WOW whadda collossal headdache and waste of time.

I downloaded the full mod pack and updated everything. It works but the framerate is terrible in 4k on my 9900K and RTX 2080Ti. Trying to figure out what mods are causing the worst performance hits but it's daunting. I can't run 1440p 60fps because this 4k tv i'm on for some reason wont do 1440p 60fps, only 1080p 60fps and 4k 60fps.
@@zaniwoob where do i look to edit the ENB ? I am having the same issue except I’m on a Ryzen 7 with a 3070ti still getting bad frame rates and don’t know where to start to make the necessary changes.
Of course your all having issues your using 1440p cards to play at 4k. The only cards you should be trying to run games at 4k, especially with alot of mods is 3080ti+
It worked for me just the other day , i installed script extender and enb and preset first though. And also i just installed the one with less mods 150 it seems to work find with no issues :)
I'm shocked and appalled so many people don't know about wabbajack modlists and one click 2000+ modlists exist. With development teams and support for issues.

I used to run around 250 mods... each one installed manually, reading hundreds of installation instructions for hours, carefully balanced load order, resolving conflicts on my own, trial and error tweaking... and after all that I'd still have crashes occasionally but this.... this is amazing. I can't wait to try it.
Tbh the Micro Modlist is perfect for people who still want to add some mods themselves, which is what i do, his modlist is basically the groundwork.

The new Vortex has this at the BOTTOM of the window now in the Tools panel. There's a plus button there.
For some reason, Skyrim Script Extender 64 was already displaying in Tools.
I had to restart Vortex to allow me to Run. (Was disabled.)

okay so for those who has crashes upon loading into the game, you have to disable part 1 SSE engine fix. apparently the modlist included dups of mods OP addressed during the fix phases of this video. i went through all the mods that were causing the crashes and apparently this "part 1 SSE engine fix" is the culprit. if you still having crashes. my easiest suggestion is to disable all mods(not uninstall) then filter mods by catergory and enable all in the catergory and so on. and when you find the mod that crashes your game, thats the one that needs to be removed completely, hope this helps and happy modding !

NOTE: sadly this collection is no longer working as intended and requires an major overhaul, it's no longer up to date and doesn't work with multiple issues such as loading order conflicts and mod rules containing cycles.

@@gastonvarela7425 Sorry for the late reply, sometimes the game wouldn't start at all, then the lighting outdoors was really bad, random NPCs have dark faces or bald heads, there's blue "pebbles" all over the countryside (I'm guessing not rendering objects), the grass floats, and Torches create flashing light "boxes" / squares that flash over the screen, same goes for the "flames" spell.
Between this and your PC Builds with Apex, you've pretty much proven what I already knew, that you're my favorite YTer and you're just absolutely awesome! This is simply amazing! Thank you so much for making modding more accessible to all players.

@@Godvadder98 i realised that revision one list is correct. Just make sure you have the latest skse installed. The latest game version now works with this list.
All the people saying this no longer works did not properly follow the guide. I just downloaded all this again on a brand new PC and it works perfectly. Follow the directions in the correct order and it WILL work. If it isn't working you are the one that messed up, not the dude running the mod list.

Skyrim AE was a big slap in the face. i didnt touch skyrim since then. i had a 2 day session of modding skyrim, i finished everything, started to play 5 hours and then AE came around

I greatly appreciate that this exists. I am an experienced modder, I have spent hundreds to thousands of hours tailoring my mod lists. Adding mods, creating bash patches, running loot, figuring out why things are crashing, etc. I have gotten my modlist up to 400-500+ mods multiple times. It feels great to just click download on a pretty good modlist and watch it install on its own.

Roll back Skyrims build to :1.6.353 (instructions on this with 'FrameCounting')
step two:
Roll back SKSE to : 2.01.05 (find in archives of site)
Step three:
follow instructions with ESO.
Unless you wish to go manually through every 478 mods individually with risks on bad orders etc just pay the 7 dollars for the monthly subscription. I couldn't get it to download correctly or really work until i just paid for it and now its working like in vid. just remember to cancel subscription when everything is done and working.
mine is still downloading but will update when finished and let you know if game works when i am finished with ESOs guide.
So far so good though.

downloads finished, I searched for all 4k mods in vortex and deleted them so my computer didn't start smoking (running on laptop 3070, i7, 32g ram)
followed rest of instructions and what do you know....

mine was a little laggy and was getting about 20fps.. I was going to adjust skyrims start graphical settings to try improve fps and delete some other mods. but haven't found the time to fine tune for my pc..

If you currently can't get the script extender to be the primary, try editing it so help it find the application. I had that problem for awhile myself
When it says C-drive is full you'll have to go into appdata and delete all the zips in there

Update: After 11 hours to download and install this mod pack there were a few little hiccups but I was able to complete the install and it seems to be working ok. There have been a few quirks in the game but I'm not sure if it's just Skyrim or one of the mods. Nothing game-breaking so far. The game looks AMAZING. This has made me want to play Skyrim again and that's really saying something! Great job putting this together. It was a long road but it's nice to have it behind me.

that's because you're not downloading it due to most likely not being a premium member. cycling through the mods is a showcase, not downloading the actual mods themselves. you have to either manually download them each at a time or you can get premium and download them all automatically.

What a gift! Thank you all for your hard work. My favourite mods are Inigo & Immersive College of Winterhold. Inigo is a no brainer, he's just the best follower in Skyrim. I love the changes to Winterhold that make it into a place that actually *feels* like a college. Really look forward to seeing and hearing what you are doing as time goes on.

Alright, solved my issue by removing the mods and reinstalling Skyrim but keeping the downloaded mods so they could be installed in right order
I put thousands of hours into this game and never modded due to hassle (and I also never replay more than 30 minutes at a time). This is finally going to make me do it
You should try modding believe me you are missing a lot just watch a guide on youtube to learn how to handle stuff It's not much of a hassle as you think

Just wanted to note, I had a problem with this updated list. the mod "Unique Border Gates Fixes - CC Goblins Patch" caused an issue for me. my game would crash every time it saved. Ran the Crash log and it pointed me towards this mod being the issue. I disabled the mod and game runs fine afterwards. If anyone one has game crashing when saving or entering new area forcing autosave, I'd look at this mod being the issue.
How'd you figure that out? I have the same issue and disabling the mod unfortunately didn't do much :( Crash logger says it might be a RAM issue, which is surprising because I have 32gb of RAM
9/28 high end revision 5 still working. All you have to do is downgrade the game version to "1.6.353.0.8" and use "skse64 2.1.5 rel6". Thank you for this video mate you'r awsome.

I had a hankering for Skyrim yet again. I’ve played with a few mods before but have never completely overhauled the game. I followed the directions to a Tee last night and everything works great. All I can say is thank you so much for making this mod list! Can’t wait to get off work today.

Built a new PC and was like, fuck it, let's play Skyrim again. I did not feel like going through hours of modding for the fifth time, but I sure as shit won't play vanilla. So this was nice!
Unfortunately this mod does not work anymore and crashes. You cannot even press the esc button to get into the menu. Had issues with the nemesis engine too

This was absolutely brilliant. 🙂 I can see some people are having issues, or are calling this video outdated, but that wasn't my experience. I followed EVERY step one by one, and made sure to let Vortex fully finish it's thing. I downloaded all the mods manually, and as long as you just DON'T install anything manually by activating any mods in the "Mods" tab, then it will work. 🙂 Also make sure to click "Deploy" when it pops up, and when the popup appears where you need to click the link, just pick the same one he showed at the start. Then the collection finishes. 👌 Also, I had to update the nemesis software twice, in order for it to complete the behaviour.

Well the problem isn't that the video is outdated, but Vortex isn't giving everyone the option to deploy the mods. It didn't for me and I can't deploy anything because of a different game im assuming that I'm having issues with. I can't even remove that game from Vortex or the mod list for Skyrim. It tells me there is no deployment method active, so Vortex is the issue, not the mod list itself.

I had one issue I found the fix for I'll put here in case anyone else has the same, when I was looking at certain female NPCs my FPS would just tank down to the single digits, which is not normal because my set up is very high end with a 3090ti, so I knew it was something to do with the mods, after playing around I disabled the AIO KS Hair Physics mod and the problem was solved, the only downside is certain NPCs hair doesn't blow in the wind but it's not noticeable when everything else is perfect.
Thank you. I disabled Bijin AIO - Hair Physics and it now runs smooth. Let me know if you find a alternative mod for the hair physics.
i have this problem but i disabled the aio bijin hair physics mod and it still does it, there is a bijin hair physics fix still installed i wonder if thats causing it, there is no AIO KS Hair Physics mods in my list
It was indeed the Bijin Hair Physics Patch that was still messing with it, disabling both fixed the issue, thank you LordRomppington for this tip

Doesnt work. Dozens of mod conflicts that override the same file, some create loops or arent even available (404 on nexus). Skyrim didnt even get to the main menu

After a painstaking two days trying to figure out what was going on with the modpack, I found a solution to why just about none of the mods were working. There are four mods I found in the latest modpack that are no longer supported in Vortex. Its the "3D Pine Forest Debris SSE" mod, "Ashbound 1.1" mod, "Dawn of Skyrim-Immersive Citizens" mod, "Natural Eyes" mod, and "Rainbows SE" mod. You can also check by checking for updates, and the ones that come back saying they couldn't look it up, just mean they are no longer supported by vortex. I just disabled them instead of deleting them, but I'm sure it'll have the same effect. I haven't tested everything fully for any major breaks, but its a step in the right direction. Vortex will also yell at you about mod dependencies, but I just ignored them.

Could you help? This works for the 'Next Gen' pack but my pc couldn't handle it, trying the 'Core' pack and I'm back to this same issue.
Tried checking for updates but all seem to come back fine, but loading in and I'm getting the same issues with missing rock textures and esc killing the game. Any pointers on what to do?
it just don't work. I tried to use the full mod list, following all the steps and don't work at all. I meet the PC requirements and the game runs at 30-40 fps, which is playable, but when i turn the camera back, the game fps drops to 4 or 5 fps. I tried to enable and disable everithing to test which mod is causing that problem, with no results. In fact, the mod order just collapsed and mod conflicts appear with no reason, even cyclical conflicts which can't be solved (i would have to check each mod conflict individually, and assuming there are about 500, with about 5 to 10 conflicts per mod, I would probably have to do no less than 10,000 checks, which is totally unaffordable). If some one can tell mi how to fix this entire mountain of scrap, I'd be really grateful. And no, LOOT can't solve this conflicts either.

For anyone wondering why they're getting stuttering, even on high end computers, yes, ENB is very demanding and can hog up a lot of FPS, but for those wondering why they still get stuttering even when using the Shift+Enter command and disabling the ENB via the Global section, and even when lowering resolution to 1440p or even 1080p, I discovered that it's the LOD mods. Primarily, Dynamic Distance Objects LOD. I completely removed all LOD mods and replaced all lighting mods (such as Enhanced Lights and FX and all Lux mods) with Realistic Lighting Overhaul, all while maintaining all ENB mods. I also removed Volumetric Mists since it even states when you install it that it can cause a large performance hit. Yes, when you're outside in open areas with little clutter, far away things look a little ugly, but I saw a night and day difference in performance. No more stuttering in towns, no more stuttering in the open world, nothing. If you want to lower resolution to 1440p or 1080p for silky smooth FPS with no stuttering, that's possible now. Others in the comments recommended turning off Physics related mods. I didn't need to. Again, this is just my experienced, but LOD's are the real culprit for the stuttering issue.

I'm currently not using any LOD mods. DDOLOD and Volumetric Mists both have a performance friendly option when installing them but I haven't personally tried them, so I can't confirm if it still causes stutters or not :/

@@igorbrito1851 Thought I replied to this but I guess UA-cam said no. But yes, you can run this modlist without the ENB. However, some mods, like Particle Lights for ENB and other ENB associated mods, won't work without it. In other words, you won't get any of those nice fancy glows from objects. This is on top of the fact that Vanilla Skyrim has a blue/cold look to it that ENB's tend to correct, bringing more color and vibrance (ReShade's are an alternative though for color correction).
My recommendation, if you want to use an ENB but don't want the huge FPS hit, use Rudy ENB SE for Cathedral Weathers. This will give you an ENB and enable the use of other ENB dependent mods, but won't eat your FPS as much as Ultimate ENB. It has a more fantasy look then realism, but still great quality overall. By default, it has black bars at the top and bottom of the screen for that widescreen cinematic effect, but this can be removed by going to Skyrim Special Edition>ENBSeries>ENBEffectPostPass.fx.ini and changing "Enable Letterbox Bars=True" to "False". Installation of this ENB, as with all ENB's, is the same as described as the video.
Fantastic video - Everything worked fine and exactly as described, it was clear, concise and well structured (had to run Nemesis twice, many people figure that out). I am running a 10700k + 32GB RAM + a 3080, 1080p @ 60fps, few dips to 30 here and there but all was well. However, nights are just insanely dark. Even sitting in a dark room and tuning contrast and gamma, I cannot see anything beyond 5 feet without a torch - enemies do not care how dark it is and can see me, while I cannot see them. I used SHIFT+F12 to turn off the ENB and the game turned YELLOW. I spent 2.5 hours tweaking the ENB ini in-game (SHIFT+ENTER) but could not fix it - too dark with it on, yellow when it was turned off or removed. I suspected this was a .ini issue, so I had to uninstall the game, delete my prefs and .ini files from my documents. I uninstalled every mod and started over with the low-spec mod list instead. Runs even better than hi-spec, but the game is extremely blurry - I have never gotten a headache from a game before, but the blurriness gave me one. There is no ENB and no mod that I can tell would cause this - in-game bloom, godrays and AO are turned off. Meanwhile, the grass and plants are also all floating 1-2 feet off the ground, and it also covers natural clearings like bandit camps, gardens and farms. I literally stumbled upon a bandit camp because the fire, tents and bedrolls were hidden under so much vegetation, it was very immersion-breaking. Great collection of mods and great video, just disappointing that I cannot get a similar result even so.
There is a brighter ENB settings on they website, have you tried that one yet?
@@AtakenSmith Yes, I tried with and without additional settings. Nothing worked and I spent hours tweaking the ENB settings. The mod collection is phenomenal, but in the end I opted for a clean install of Skyrim with the Immersive and Pure Collection on NexusMods (Skyrim SE). It was a one-click install and after running the game, saving, quitting and running again, it has worked fine since. Loving the mod collection, too. I'd love to give the ESO mods a go but as a new dad I don't have the time to do proper troubleshooting. Maybe next year..

Hey @@RaiKov had the same problem but seem to have fixed it. When you shift+enter in-game with the ENB, pull up the setting "SKYLIGHTING" (bottom left under enbseries.ini) and change the "AmbientMinLevelNight" to 0.50 and that should increase the brightness which is what it did for me. You can increase the brightness of everything else that says "Dawn" or "Night" in it to 0.50 which will help. Also, you don't need to hit "Apply changes" after you change the values because, for some reason, it resets to default values after you do that.
for anyone who is struggling with blurry effect while they are outside, make sure you isntaled ENB and Ultimate Immersion SE ENB correctly, I have readded files in correct way and now it works flawless
I downloaded the modlist and my version is 1.6.640 but whenever I try and load up Skyrim I get black screen then it crashes

It appears that the mods have been updated. I checked for updates in Vortex and over 100 mods I had to download manually.
Some directly downloaded, some took me to the Nexus page to select the file to download. In doing this I noticed most of these mods had different names and the mod listed in Vortex did not appear as written.
I also found several mods that stated they had update but the Nexus page had no newer file.
Only thing I didn''t try is to manually search in Nexus for each file.
I'm also thinking that maybe the mod list needs to be updated to match the updated mods on Nexus.

Looks really cool, couple of questions. Can it be installed also with MO2 ? Do you guys also use DYNDOLOD ? And can it be used or is it not necessary? How stable could it be if I add some more mods outside of this pack? Cause I have some core armor/weapons mods I just cant play without and would like to add them too :D

I was wondering the same thing, but ultimately it should. I've been playing Skyrim VR for the last few years (I can't convince myself to go flat again), and in my experience, all Skyrim SE mods work with VR. I don't think I've come across one just yet that doesn't. Some mods DO have VR-specific files, but by and large most SE mods should just snip right over to VR. The only thing I'm not sure about is if I need to uninstall the SE and Skyrim VR, then reinstall both the SE and Skyrim VR along with SKSE and whatnot.
After that, all that is needed is to get PLANCK, HIGGS, VRIK, and Spellsiphon and you're ready to rock. :)

ive got a question, i did everything like in the video. but when i play, i cant press esc or j. it closes the game imidietly. so i cant see quests or change options. anyone know why ?

buddy please do a updated tutorial version of how to install this, I past the hole day trying to do this, did everything like u did step by step but I keep getting a lot of conflicted files, my nemesis is not working, the SKE scrip I had to setup myself since it did not appear to me like yours.. I just gave up. Shame, it seems like an awesome job but I cant use it...

I run this on a 3090 with 32gb ram and I got stutters sometimes walking around whiterun and other towns. The stutters were too annoying to play with. As per another comment here, I disabled hair physics and I have 0 stutters as of right now. So consider trying this if your game is laggy even on a high end PC
how did you diable it?
For me personally, i just lowered the biggest textures to 2k
@@datajournal1354 I wasn't sure which mods to go through to check for 4k to 2k versions so i just disabled hair physics and my lag went away

@@joeryan9631 on vortex, under the mods tab - search for Bijin. You should see bijin hair physics and bijin hair physics bug fix. I just disabled both and it worked fine for me. (Run nemesis)

I agree with most of the comments' here. It is pretty clear that this video is out of date and you are sucking a ton of time out of folks. I have a brand new machine with a ton of horse power and I cannot get this to work. Please take this video down or update. A channel of this size should know better
Skyrim modding isn't exactly a cakewalk. Even while using modlists like this you should still put in some work.
Maybe check the date. And hes uploaded several videos more recently explaining that it doesnt work anymore with the new updates.

We make no money from you downloading it. However nexus/vortex make money from their premium sub service and I don't know what they do with it since we are not affiliated.

Same for the 1st time, but I clicked updating Nemesis 2nd time and lauched again then it worked.
It would have been nice to know we basically have to purchase a premium Vortex account if we want to avoid waiting half a century for everything to download. I did end up purchasing it, but that should have been mentioned earlier than 20 minutes into the video smh.
I’m in actual disbelief that this mod tutorial works in 2025… it is the first time I’ve ever modded anything and I was so afraid I’d be unsuccessful. I’m blown away! It looks unbelievably great and feels like I just stood in line for the release at GameStop in 2011.

how did you get it to launch with the current enb d3dcompiler? only way i cant get it to run after install is by deleting the d3dcompiler im not sure
also using compiler enb version 503 which is the current one but ive tried all the older versions as well and it wont launch unless the d3dcompiler is deleted
im so confused... i read most of the comments here too... i rolled back to the previous skyrim SE version, finallyu found a 2.1.5 skse, had to make place for TWO times the 69 GB on my ssd by deleting 3 games, and the Vortex downloader just stopped at 99% Download and Install, gives me a popup to download the LATEST version of the SKSE on the website, and skyrim WAS bloory as in your video when i first opened it up, but it also gave me an error notification inside the game that the mods wont work because my SKSE inst up to date!
I literally dont know what word of mouth i should follow. This has been a humongous waste of everything, of course thanks to bethesda updates, but an updated video is much needed to warn and clerify, because there are clearly a bunch of other errors happening, even tho i followed everything to the T and even downgraded the game and the skse to THIS videoès version to be able to follow along... WOW whadda collossal headdache and waste of time.

I have only just got into using vortex and collections properly like You showed us ESO, Ty to You and your collaboration group this help me a lot. There not enough thank you's you can click.
I followed your steps exactly , paid for the subscription and I get unresolved file conflicts.
I downloaded the full mod pack and updated everything. It works but the framerate is terrible in 4k on my 9900K and RTX 2080Ti. Trying to figure out what mods are causing the worst performance hits but it's daunting. I can't run 1440p 60fps because this 4k tv i'm on for some reason wont do 1440p 60fps, only 1080p 60fps and 4k 60fps.
Enb is THE fps eater. Look for optimize enb settings. there are manuals to to turn off all the unnecessary stuff.
@@zaniwoob where do i look to edit the ENB ? I am having the same issue except I’m on a Ryzen 7 with a 3070ti still getting bad frame rates and don’t know where to start to make the necessary changes.
Same here, 2070 super. Going to do a fresh install and select 2k options instead of the 4k ones... hopefully that helps.
Of course your all having issues your using 1440p cards to play at 4k.
The only cards you should be trying to run games at 4k, especially with alot of mods is 3080ti+

It worked for me just the other day , i installed script extender and enb and preset first though. And also i just installed the one with less mods 150 it seems to work find with no issues :)
