Great video. I'm going through all of the 50 1.8 videos I can find for confirmation bias. Your production quality is MUCH higher than other users with a similar subscriber count (in any genre/industry) that I've come across. Keep it up.
best and most informational video ive seen in a while. i watch alot of chanels and they all say the same things while you actually give so much more info. ill be watching your videos first from now on for sure haha .
Would this lens be suitable for shooting a band play? Not sure what lens I would use, I mostly use this one for photos but have never used it for video.
Your video is a great description and explanation in a subtle and conscious way of this kind of Lens, but even in relation to other infield lenses. Thanks man!
I appreciate the insight 🥂 I’ve Been Looking For A Lense For Weeks Now. Definitely Learning About ISO and All The Noise In My Videos Are A Bit Overwhelming. So I Will Give This A Try
This is the best video. You’re very good in presenting and making easier for someone to follow. My first time to come across to your channel, I just subscribed
Nice video. How can I solve the issue of a shakey video, when I use a tripod for stability, the moment the object moves, video doesn't come out right. 😒
Bro u are my older cousins doppelganger🤯🤯holy shmokes...he's had a ruff hard life but yal damn bear look the same your him without the scared face its crazy kid
Hi, great video, I have a Canon 80D, I´ve had it since it came out more or less, i used it for making UA-cam-videos but I noticed that the kit lens was not really good in low light situations like indoor and such, I did not bother getting a better lens either. I have an iPhone 13 Pro that makes really good videos, but in low light there is quite some distortion, now I was thinking if I could get a better lens for my Canon that let in more light in the camera and maybe better for low light, even better than the iPhone 13 Pro, yeah I know my old Canon don't have 4K, but I don't have a 4K computer anyway... lol. what is your suggestion on this ? also the lens must be capable of close up video, I would think the iPhone 13 Pro would handle that better with it´s macro lens ? Thanks
Okay so you say this one if for waist up shots, in that case using this lens for live bands recordings is fine? I need a new lens because i have the 18 55mm lens, is used and I think it is ruining my videos.
That Mpow headset is a good one if you don’t need a ton of bells and whistles. I don’t use those for editing that much. The sound is solid and gives you a good experience for a budget pair of headphones. They’re also really comfortable to wear
Thanks, that was very informative. I'm new to videography and was thinking of buying the Canon M50 which comes with a 15-45mm kit lens. Is it still worth buying a 50mm lens as well? Thanks
Glad it helped! If you’re just getting started I’d stick with the kit lens until you get comfortable with it. Once you get a feel for what you shoot the most and find some limitations with the kit lens, that’s when I’d look into something like a 50mm.
Hey nice video ! I just brought the canon rebel t1000 and I’m looking to get a better lens then the one that it came with. I’m looking for something that gives that cinematic look or more clear look. The noise on the starter lens is not so good. If you could let me know I’ll appreciate it thanks
Hey thank you! This can work for top down videos, you just have to make sure that the look it’s giving you is what you want. I’ve used it for overhead shots in the past and it’s been fine for what I needed
@@CachedOut Awesome, thank you, I have the M50 but I'm new to cameras and I'm struggling to get good footage from the kit lens, I have always used my phones to shoot for my channel. Thanks for the info.
No problem! Yeah it takes a little bit of trial and error to get it the way you want lol. Keep practicing, watch tutorials and ask questions you’ll definitely get better with it 😁
Hi, I have this lens I like it , BUT I have some problème to use it in vidéo it’s not fast enough and loose focus ! Maybe you have some advise to set focus zone , mode .. I have a 5d4, tried today to film my girlfriend classic dancing… it was difficult and not as I expected .. lost a lot the focus .. thank you
hello. Please anybody help me with this canon 50mm lens since I am a beginner at photography. So I just bought this lens a couple week ago and I used canon 7D camera that my dad gave it to me. I don't know why while I was recording a video using this lens, It was easily to lose focus. So by the time I moved the camera to shoot another object, it was blurred. I'm pretty sure that it was not because I installed the lens wrong. Thank you if you read this message and give me some tips or solutions.
Hey hey. Thank you for that video. Can you please advice, which lens should we buy for home- painting, videos? For M50 camera we have. We have adapter for larger lenses. Last video made- ua-cam.com/video/3Y2k9Mue6u0/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Kriksis Using Kit lens EF-M 15-45 mm . Plan to buy- LENS: Canon EF-M 22mm f/2 , but maybe you have any better idea to start from. Thanks in advance.
Hi there! Glad you enjoyed the video. I looked at your video and it looks very well done. You’re doing a great job! Honestly I think the kit lens did a great job for you in terms of the painting portions you showed. 22 wouldn’t be a bad choice but if you can get a macro lens that may be good for the painting videos if you want to get really close and highlight some details. Keep up the good work!
Came for the lens review, stayed for you.
What a charming guy!
SAME!

I'm wondering too as I want to record my band with this lense.

Great video. On the t3i what do you consider a good aperture for an establishing shot with no focus. Like your shot of the woods.
Depending on how much light you have you can go with f4.5 or f8
This was informative and you are well spoken. Subscribed!
Thank you! Much appreciated!
underrated channel, thumbs up
Thanks for the tips👍

Hey! Yeah this will work well for that. Lower aperture will also help with any low light environment for performances
Great vid, thanks! Shame this lense does not have image stabilisation
HELL YEAH!!! HEAVEN SENT VID
Stunning video it's so beneficial man, thanks a lot for this video. God Bless You. Create more videos, looking for it.❤️
Thank you! Glad that it helped 👍

Is nifty fifty bad for night time videography? Do u know what ones are good for nighttime?
Incredible, thanks!
can i use 50mm 1.8 lense without background blur mode?
great video... thanks dude
Video you shot full video what is set up ?
thanks for this good video. can u talk a little about that mpow headset in that vid? do u use it for ur video editing too

@@CachedOut so which headset do u use for editing? its also a good topic to make a video about
I actually don’t use headphones for editing. I like editing without them
Keep going man 👏

Hi sir did u shoot this video, the video in which ur doing the talking with the camera u r talking abt?
Hi. I want you to know what is the lense that you use for filming this video please ? Thanks :)
Hi there, I shot this with the Canon RF 35mm macro
Great video!
Thanks, that was very informative. I'm new to videography and was thinking of buying the Canon M50 which comes with a 15-45mm kit lens. Is it still worth buying a 50mm lens as well? Thanks

@@CachedOut That's great, thanks again for the advice!
Great info!!! I just ordered one 😀
Awesome, glad it helped! 👍
How do you change the aperture? Also when I rotate my lens it doesn’t zoom in/out. I’m a complete beginner
Prime lens don't Zoom . U just gotta Use ya Feet😂😂
Prob is i have smaller room and i have the 50mm and the camera needs to be be far to make a sit down video..
Hey do you still prefer the 35mm more than this lens?
Hey yeah, I actually still prefer the 35mm macro. It’s just super multi faceted and I use it for a lot of things
Hey nice video ! I just brought the canon rebel t1000 and I’m looking to get a better lens then the one that it came with. I’m looking for something that gives that cinematic look or more clear look. The noise on the starter lens is not so good. If you could let me know I’ll appreciate it thanks
When can i buy this lens for my photography😭 Greetings from Philippines ❤
Greetings! It’s a good prime for photography as well. I’d definitely recommend it. I always keep one in my bag 😂
Great video, very informative, would this lens be good for product reviews, top down videos? Thank you
Hey thank you! This can work for top down videos, you just have to make sure that the look it’s giving you is what you want. I’ve used it for overhead shots in the past and it’s been fine for what I needed

Yea It’s just a few technical shifts to grab ahold of 😁
That’s awesome! Best way to learn it is to do a few and then come back and see what worked and what didn’t.
@@CachedOut thanks so much for the help and feedback

are you vlogging with the 50 mm?

@@CachedOut ahh it looks great!
Great video - thanks so much! 👍
Thank you for this super helpful video🌠

subscribed! good content
how much for a consultation?
Would you suggest the 50mm for youtube videos?
Yeah this can work for most videos
What is the maximum aperture possible with this lens so that the face is more or less in focus ?
if you using the speedbooster make this len become 56mm . spend another 35$ on regular adapter then you have 80mm..
bro bg music name? i like it, already got sold off me🤣
What lens did you use to shoot this video?
Hey, I used the 35mm RF Canon lens for the main pieces and 85mm for a couple shots
Good information bro.
Just subscribed
