Loved the video 💚 To encourage the little growth point its simple just nip off the main new growth bud at the top of the plant, I've done this for various types of plants and 90% gave me bushy results 🪴 Loved the new Standleyana leaf 🍃 wow super pretty, my favourite plants at the moment are my Philodendron Fibraecataphyllum and Jerry Horne and my beautiful 3 mtr long VSOH that I've chopped and propped to perfection over the last 2 yrs from a teeny 2 strand cutting she now hangs in my bedroom window and has big beautiful 💕 She makes me super happy every morning 💗
I'm definitely going to try that when it finishes unfurling its new leaf - thank you! Ooh I've never heard of the Fibraecataphyllum but I just looked it up and I looooove the texture of the leaves 😍 And omg - 3 meters?? Literal goals!!
@@GetPlantyWithIt honestly try to get your hands on the Fibraecataphyllum, ive a feeling when people catch on to how they little pillowy hearts turn into big beautiful long lobed leaves the price will rocket, and just buy a little cutting they root easily and grow really fast on a support. Good luck with your aglaonema babies, will be looking out for updates...absolutely in love with your collection lol wish i was in the US 😂 would so be up for some trading, anyhoo lovely keep smiling and just know theres a plant mom in Scotland whos is loving your content !! Am just going to indulge in some YT while relaxing in the bath with a glass of wine. Your new video first on my list...🪴💚
omg hello again!! i've missed a bunch of ur videos but i finally have time to watch them now! i've also been having lots of new growth in winter- all my philodendrons have been growing like crazy! btw i'm finally off my plant ban so ofc i had to buy another plant- i got a super full 6 inch philodendron hope for only $20
I’ve been surprised to have new growth too because I turn my lights down from 12 hours to 8 hours for the winter to let the plants “rest.” I love my Alocasia Black Velvet and it’s been doing well in the regular humidity of my house! I just lost the two original leaves it came with so it’s back to only two leaves again, but they look great!! A part of me wants to branch out and try some more Alocasia like the dragon scale and silver dragon… but I’m terrified of Spider Mites and am constantly rinsing off leaves when I water, and checking leaves. I’ve had mealy bugs a few times now, and I think my Monstera Deliciosa must have had something because it’s still not doing anything but a bunch of leaves had weird dots on them so I cut them all off and it looks much better. Just still not putting out any new growth… Anyway, yours look great!! Thank you for sharing! 💜💚🪴
The Black Velvet is one of my faves!! I would definitely recommend the dragon scale/silver dragon - I did find spidermites on them once, but I treated them 2-3 times and they were completely fine! Thanks for sharing your updates :)
so excited because of the new leaves on your plants! I would love to see some updates on your pink princess because honestly it’s the most beautiful plant in your collection. The variegation is stunning. I have few of them and I have big struggles in rooting them! 😪 even the verrucosum is easier for me. I don’t know what I am doing wrong. It really annoys me because they do nothing in either water, moss and perlite 😤 Any tips for me Analise? 🥰
Thank you!!! I will definitely include an update on the pink princess soon - I actually am going to do a repotting of it soon so I'll be sure to film it :) Have you tried putting them in a closed moss prop box? When I give the cuttings super high humidity (either in a box or with a cloche) they've rooted quickly in moss!
I just recently purchased an immature Florida beauty. The 2 newest leaves have a slight 2 tone green pattern but mainly green. Do you think it will become more variegated as it matures?
In my experience it really depends on the amount of variegation you can see in the stem - if you see some colorful striping on the stem there's a good chance the variegation will increase!
Ok that cercestis mirabilis..... girl I could never say that. But that plant is 😱😱😱😱😱😱
Haha I literally had to practice off camera 😂😂 But it's a stunnner!
Love the plants! Love that last syngonium you talked about! 💚💚💚 all of my plants are pushing out new growth too. Yay plants! 🪴
I've been getting so into syngonium recently 😍 Yay for winter growth!! Thanks for watching 💚💚
