Hey lil Mamma. Thank you for being transparent and showing the realities of growing a large amount of plants. Your struggle bus babies are looking great, wtg!

Just discovered your channel! I love the vibe/online persona.
I totally appreciate videos about struggling. Plant hauls have stopped doing anything for me personally. Having so many plants is overwhelming for me at this point so seeing people bringing more and more in started giving me anxiety. Not trying to tell you what to film or anything: I'm just saying that I understand why the struggle videos are so appealing.
Relatable on every level on my end. Talking about stuff like updates on growth, repotting, styling, and propagating really speaks to me as well.
Btw it looks like those indeed are the start of root growth. It starts looking like crystals sometimes.

Thank you so much, that's so kind! I definitely understand that, I've really significantly cut back on buying plants because it really can get so overwhelming. And I'll definitely keep doing repotting, growth updates, and propagating videos, and I'm definitely going to have a whole series on styling after I move which I'm super excited for!

I think it depends! If they're really in need of a repot (roots coming out of the bottom of the pot, needs really frequent watering) that I think it's totally fine! I typically repot all through winter and have never had any issues.

Awww, I hope you figure things out! For the String of Hearts, I’d put them in dirt, but in a prop box so they’re humid and the dirt doesn’t dry out. When you wrap them around the pot, you can’t let the soil dry out - that’s why they died. ☹️
It’s so interesting about the one that was fine in water but not Leca!
    Thank you for sharing! 💜💚🪴🌵

I'm so scared of propping in dirt! I've only been successful with propping cacti and succulents in soil 😭 But maybe I should try this time!

@@GetPlantyWithIt You have to try it in a prop box and then you’ll love it!! I was given a stem of a String of Bananas as a “free gift” with an order. I cut it up, used a little plastic container from a cupcakes and filled one insert with dirt, wet it down and stuck in the stems (after dipping them in cinnamon and waiting 24 hours for them to callous over). I left it in there for a good month, maybe 6 weeks or so, and it rooted beautifully! I transferred it to a pot and it’s doing well!!
Maybe try it with a few cuttings from just one strand to see what happens and it’ll build your confidence! But the key is to keep it covered so it stays humid and makes it’s own little hothouse. 👍😊 You got this!!! 😁

Hi, I struggle with propagating soh, not growing just rooting 🤷‍♀️ I had a dieffenbachia that I threw out. I was losing more leaves than it was putting out. I have a new one with almost white leaves, so pretty and doing good 👍. I really struggle with philodendron Brazil. The leaves turn brown in the middle of the leaf. Not giving up just struggling. Good luck with yours😊
